I think he said his name was I know it's a T in there in a wide tall, good looking black man with the Afro probably late 20s but he was just a doll when we were when I was checking out and we were talking about Michael Jackson so anyway always helpful. I've noticed him before and the ambience was there today because it's the day before Mother's Day so it was like the 405 and the 710 coming together in one place In Long Beach. The food is always remarkable and I actually got ham which is so fresh from them even though they were at least 500 people in that store I'm just guessing I was in and out once I got to the counter I was in and out within five minutes, so excellent service has off to the manager there. read more

What is there not to love at Trader Joe's? This is my absolute favorite store! Staff are always so nice at the registers making it effortless upon check out. Love all their seasonal product selection keeping me on my toes for what comes out on the shelves. It's my happy place and I can be in the store for hours just browsing and shopping. So many good stuff with decent prices. Very affordable for all your groceries needs. There are two parking spaces located in front and back. The parking space in the back is less crowded so it's usually where I park. Great atmosphere with fast paced environment, but overall one awesome store to shop at. read more

Visiting from out of town, and I usually find my way to a Trader Joe's. It just makes travel easier to stock up on my favorite healthy snacks. I just found a new salad here that I love!!! . This store was just lovely! Perfectly organized, nice and clean, well stocked. I travel with my service dog, LongYellowDog, and we had no problems navigating the aisles. And employees and customers alike, seemed to understand the term "working dog". I spoke with no less the four employees during my quick 15 minute shop. All of them were genuinely nice and had huge smiles. I love that! When I went for check out.... No line. It was so easy. And..... for travelers like me, forks and spoons. So I can eat that ready to eat salad! High-fives all the way around Trader Joe's! High five!!! I've been to this location on Bellflower a few times and have always had a positive experience. Getting in and out of the parking lot is super easy. There is always a whole gaggle of shoppers here and people move quicker, zipping along and zagging through the aisles. It's a great place to shop for healthy and affordable food. The store is clean and well-organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate the wide variety of healthy and affordable food options available. One of my favorite things about Trader Joe's is their selection of frozen foods. They have various options, including meals, snacks, and appetizers. I love this Trader Joe's. They always have what I'm looking for in stock. I am not much of a cook, so I don't buy meat and produce here. I come here mainly for their frozen food and snacks. My latest frozen favorites are their pad see ew, kimbap and hot wings. The pad see ew is really good. I'm so glad I discovered it. I love pad see ew and I was really shocked at how good it was given that it's frozen. The kimbap is also good. Sometimes I eat it microwaved, sometimes I put it in the airfryer for a crispier taste, but the best is dipping it in an egg wash and pan frying. The hot wings are also good and best cooked in the air fryer for 20 minutes. It comes out really crispy. For snacks, my latest favorite are their corn chips (taste like Fritos) dipped in their mild salsa and their almonds, cashew and dark chocolate trail mix. I also recently had their Hawaiian butter mochi cake mix, which is usually always out of stock. It turned out so delicious. Prices here are also reasonable. Staff are helpful and friendly. read more

Wow! I guess it's a sign of the times when even Trader Joe's quality is in the dumps. It use to be the occasional bad item here and there. But now it's fairly wide spread. From watery hummus, stinky steaks, vegetables that have seen better days. But it's also what's in the food. Chemicals of all sorts. Rice loaded with arsenic. Dark chocolate on the podium for having some of highest lead and cadmium. Items made cheaper or where the label misrepresents content: chicken Shawarma made with 50% leg meat as opposed to chicken thighs which does not match the label. When you can't trust what your most trusted store sells, where do you go from there? read more

Food - Service - Ambiance -- these default Yelp review topic suggestions are meant for restaurants, but TJ's has them all, too! I like the easy parking on the back side of the shopping center. The front is a bit of a madhouse. The checkout clerks always courteously ask me where I parked so they can point my shopping cart in the right direction to exit, and my answer is always the same: in the back! :) read more

Overall a great experience. Great customer service, great location, and plenty of parking make it one of my new faves. At checkout, our cashier even made sure we went out the correct exit. I'm just wondering when this and other Trader Joe's will put in some self checkout lanes...? Give customers more options to pay for their own items quickly yet conveniently. Also it would help reduce costs of labor overhead as not only wages will continue to increase but health premiums as well along with other benefits the company pays for. I enjoy shopping at Trader Joe's over 10 years of good service. The food is delicious and the prices are great. Went there for mother's day to grab flowers and I have never encountered long lines. I had about 30 people ahead of me waiting in line but it went pretty fast. I see why that's the go to spot for flowers. It was so many flowers to choose from and the price was affordable. Clean and organize store. By the way, I went to do my groceries and I dropped a bottle of vinegar that was inside my recycled Trader Joe bag which i use a lot. The staff were amazing not to have me worried of what it happened. I offered to clean up the mess and they said don't worry about it and they even replace my recycled bag. Ms. Lane my cashier was amazing to make me feel it's OK, and the lead staff she called for assistance which i did not get the name was excellent for helping her and covering the mess and taking care of the situation. Kudos to you guys that's what you call teamwork and again I apologize for the mess I made. read more

We don't shop at Trader Joe's on a regular basis. They are a little to 'natural' for us. That said, when stopping in for that quick quart of milk or a bottle of wine, we find this to be a really nice option. We also like their offerings for flowers. Nice options at reasonable prices. Amazing! This location has restrooms. It's had plenty of parking in the front or back of the building with entrances on both sides too. Well stocked. I love to get to-go food from here. I recommend their Pasadena salad and their clam chowder. Always love their seasonal selection of produce and flowers. They also have compostable utensils that are individually wrapped in paper. Yes!! Frozen Mashed Potatoes were in stock. Also stocked up on TJ's Breaded Fried Ravioli, which is a new find for me. Can't wait to throw these in the air fryer. Also another find: Turkey Corn Dogs in the frozen section. I have the perfect deli mustard to pair it with. Lastly, picked up some doggie breath bones. Smelled like a bag of peppermint. Totally doggie approved. Lines were short, like how I like them. Service was quick and friendly, as usual. They ran out of TJ paper bags, and I forgot my reusable ones, but they had regular paper bags. Downside--no handles. read more
