Rotten alphonso mangoes. I bought a box of alphonso mangoes from this store last week. All 12 mangoes in the box were rotten. When I was buying the box the 2 ladies at the store discussed something among themselves and gave this box as if they knew all the mangoes were rotten. I did not realize this at that time. This is disgusting and truly disappointing- my family bought a box of ALFONSO mangoes at a Farm Fresh in Artesia (the best of the best type of mango) for 35 Dollars last week. Every single mango when cut opened is rotting and not edible. My parents called the store over 10 times and left voicemails to let them know and to get a refund but nobody has responded. The store is too far to physically go there to let them know. I would recommend that the Indian community and people to not shop here. I shop here as I find their prices are way cheaper than the nearest Indian store in my neighborhood. Produce are fresh here and again can't emphasize enough how much it costs less here. A bag of curry leaves is about 80 cents. A bunch of curry leaf twigs at the nearest Indian store is $1.50!! They validate parking ticket if your purchase is $30 and above. The shop is small and cramped. Hard to get around if you have a cart. read more

This shop is clean and well stocked, but not all that. There's a reason why this place isn't as busy as Pioneer Cash and Carry. That's the main reason why its so clean. I was shopping for a cream and this was the place that carried it. I really didn't want to buy anything from here, because I was watched like a hawk. It was very uncomfortable checking out because both she and I knew her watching me instead of asking to help me was unacceptable.Since I went to at least 3 markets before here, I knew this was odd. But I purchased it anyway thinking I didn't drive all this way...to turn back because somebody eyeballed me. I was not the least bit happy. The prices on things are 50¢ higher on most of the beauty section. I went to several shops in the area to price things and shop is high. If you are in the area for a particular item and can't find it at the other places...come here. They do have British items and a slightly different selection. But this should be your last stop. Try all of the other markets first because there's plenty around there! Fortunately the cream didn't work out, so I will be skipping this place and giving my business to Pioneer's! read more

This is my first time coming to an Indian grocery store. The first thing that hit me was the smell. It was very strong, pungent and really hard to breathe. It is probably because of all the Indian spices. Once I tried to get over it, it was really surprise how small an Indian grocery store was and pricey. I thought the items at an Indian market would be cheaper than the Indian section at 99 Ranch but I was wrong. It wasn't. Another thing is parking garage is a death trap. You have to be super careful of the incoming cars. It is very narrow and hard to turn. Farm Fresh is a great little Indian grocery store and one of the cleanest, most organized and well-stocked Indian stores I have ever been to, and let me tell you, I've been to a lot! The selection here is amazing! From huge bags of rice, spice mixes, fresh vegetables, wheat flour, imported cookies and biscuits, shampoos and soaps, frozen foods, cooking implements and cooking oils and ghee, you'll find everything you need for an Indian feast here. I saw the biggest bottle of ghee here that I have ever seen! A whole gallon of the beautiful, golden clarified butter! Mmmmmmm. One amazing addition to this store is the section of Ayurvedic herbs. I found the herb Guggul here for $4.99 that places like Whole Foods charge $15.00 a bottle for. SWEET! Definitely check this place out for your Indian cooking needs! read more

This is a small grocery store, but the food is fresher. My mom buys her flour and other core cooking ingredients from here because of the freshness. There is metered parking on the street in front of the shop, but there is also a parking structure directly behind the store if you don't want to pay. The structure isn't huge, so it can be challenging to find a spot on the weekends. The store itself is very small inside. The aisles are quite narrow, so it's difficult to navigate a cart (which you'll need to pile up all your groceries). You're probably better off leaving your cart in a corner of the store and returning to it to put things inside. You'll find everything you need here. There's definitely a smaller selection than some of the other stores in Artesia, but you'll find everything you need. Additionally, the staff at the store is friendly and helpful. read more

Farm fresh is rightly named all vegetables spices appear fresh.The prices are super cost effective. From $2000 silk sari to $.05 lemons they have everything. I did not bring a cooler but next time I will to purchase all the frozen foods such as parathas and rotis. The Little India shops are amazing and impressive. I prefer this place to ambala cash and carry a block down. Buuut it's always so cramped. There's so many people here, no matter the time. Complete with rude aunties who either refuse to move or push you in order to get by. A huge plus is the crowd of uncontrollable children. The prices I would say are about the same as well. The only difference is they don't have as much variety of that same product as their competitor across the street. Farm Fresh is my go-to when I need fresh curry leaves for making Indian Fish Curry at home. This market is clean and well-organized and for the most part everyone is helpful if not super friendly. So you've been thinking about making Indian food, but don't know where to purchase what you need? This is the place! Cash & Carry is the biggest Indian Market in Little India, but Farm Fresh feels cleaner and, while still busy (particularly on weekends), it is slightly less chaotic than Cash & Carry. Everyone once in a while I have to visit C&C, but if I have a choice, it's Farm Fresh. From frozen naan and parathas to ghee and coconut oil to jackfruit and curry leaves. this place carries it all. One thing you'll note in this area is that most markets carry quite a few British items. Apparently colonialism also results in some random food preferences, such as chocolate cookies and candies. This is the only place I'm aware of in Little India that will crack open your young coconut and give you a straw- yum! The coconuts are in the fresh produce area and when you check out you can ask one of the cashiers to have someone cut the top off. Also, spices, lentils, nuts, dried fruits and such are plentiful. For those with gluten free allergies, this place has almost all of the flours you could imagine and then some. You may need to ask what type of flour you're looking at in the store because the words are frequently in Gujarati or Hindi. Overall, this is the best place to do your Indian food shopping. The cost of spices is significantly lower than other stores and better quality, too! read more

I think restaurant owners go in here to get their ingredients to make their food,as we saw a 2 men stock as much as 2 shopping baskets could hold,buy them and walk down the street with them. My review is specifically about the eco friendly ganesha I bought from here. Our ganesha has been immersed and sitting in the water since 3 days and shows no sign of dissolving. I am very disappointed becuase I have been getting eco friendly Ganeshas since a while now and I am very particular about it. I asked the lady at the counter many times before buying it and she insisted that it was eco friendly and will dissolve in the water. Smaller than the usual market I go to but seems cleaner and better stocked. I wanted to buy digestives cookies from England/Ireland but the price was about $3.50 for a little package. I guess it had to walk all that way here. Produce section is well stocked and fresh but small. I wanted to buy kulfi but since no one seems to speak english here or seem to be helpful I never can find things in an Indian market. I always have to travel slowly down the aisles. This is a good store to buy indian groceries but totally unrespected owner, and his employees. This store has many employees who are from different ethnicity. We do a shopping from this store most of hte time. One of the employee of the store was very angry for some reason, he was pulling carts near the door of the store where they have a iron bench to seat on. I was seating with my kids and this employee was coming with bunch of carts and hitting to the bench. I was afraid that the carts are going to hit my baby - my two years old was sleeping in my lap - I told this employee to bring cart slowly. He got mad on me and he was very loud and treatening and looking at me very intiminating way. I told the store owner the way his employee was talking to me but he could not tell anything to his employee that "you can not talk to the costumer this way". The store owner told me it is not going to hit your son and he left. This employee - I am sure they have problem - kept looking at me like he is going to eat me up. Finally I had to tell him " I will call 911" The employee was still following me and he came to the second floor where I parked my vehicle. He was on the second floor till we left.
