Love how close to home it is. Great prices and parking is great. Easy access to Irving or Milwaukee. It's clean and maintained well.

So close to home. Happy it's clean and friendly. Not crowded as compared to Albany park Aldi.

Jerry's Fruit & Garden has quickly become one of my favorite places to shop. They have an…read moreincredible selection of fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables you probably won't find at a typical grocery store. Everything I've bought has been fresh, and the prices are honestly some of the best I've seen in a long time. Some of the deals I found were amazing: strawberries for just $0.98 a pack, a large pack of raspberries for $3.98, chicken breasts for $1.98 per pound, and ribeye steaks for $9.99 per pound. With grocery prices being so high these days, stores like this are such a huge help. The only downside is that weekends are extremely busy, so I'd recommend going first thing in the morning if you can. Even with the crowds, it's absolutely worth the trip. Great quality, unbeatable prices, and a fantastic place to stretch your grocery budget!

We carefully picked a "good" time to drop in here for the first time in well over a decade, mainly…read moreto see what the fuss was about with Jerry's. The wife says we came here once before many years ago but I don't remember it.  They've been at it here for 53 years since 1972. Normally, we avoid it due to the madhouse scene that is usually here (like when traffic can't even enter the parking lot from busy Milwaukee Ave because the parking lot is overflowing lol).  Well, it was -3F on a frigid Friday night and we were across Milwaukee Ave at the Jewel, and it was eerily quiet in Jewel, and we thought it was as good a time as any to also visit Jerry's lol. Well, it was relatively calm, and we found a close by parking spot, but there were still plenty of shoppers in Jerry's.  Their inventory is huge and truly impressive as are their prices.  No wonder this place is so super popular.  We picked up some cherries for $2.49 per lb and strawberries at a promo price of $0.79 per 1 lb container.  I would say 4.5 stars for our visit tonight, but really on their normal super-crowded shopping basis, I would still say 3 stars overall.  I don't personally think the hassle factor of shopping here for fruits and vegetables is worth it for the savings and the variety of offerings, thus the 2 star deduct.  But you have to decide for yourself, and apparently for many others, Jerry's is well worth the trip, and kudos to Jerry's for that and continued good luck and success to them.

Rosa J. is obsessed to Cermak Produce, like Nicki Minaj always says "I'm obsessed to my fans."…read more I'm totally a fan of Cermak Produce. This is a small location catering to the neighborhood residents in Belmont Cragin. There were some shady characters outside loitering, so be aware. This was one of my typical grocery shopping trips. I purchased one (1) bag of cello spinach ($1.99), one (1) bag of red seedless grapes ($0.95/lb. for $1.30), red delicious apples ($0.65/lb. for $2.13), plum tomatoes ($0.65/lb. for $1.32), one (1) cantaloupe ($0.95), two (2) bags of carrots (2 for $0.95), and four (4) regular-sized avocados (2 for $0.95; $1.90). Everything came to $10.78 after tax. No one can say that buying groceries is expensive, if you know where to shop. This location is on the corner of Cicero and Diversey. The CTA bus 54A (Cicero/Skokie Blvd.) runs during AM and PM rush hours only, so the more reliable public transportation is to take the CTA bus 76 (Diversey). If you choose not to exercise during the gorgeous spring season in Chicago, driving your own vehicle is an option as well since parking is ample.

Along with seeing what is offered in comparison to other grocery stores I shop at regularly, I…read morevisited Tony's Fresh Market because Upside, a cash back application offered a 12% cash back offer on grocery purchases. This Tony's Fresh Market location just happened to be one of the nearest to my neighborhood located on the west-side of Chicago. As for this visit, I had no issues whatsoever finding a parking spot for my vehicle. I have to admit, at first, I did not think I would find a spot until I drove to the backside of Tony's where I found a number of open spots available. Inside, the atmosphere felt very relaxed at this Tony's with a neighborhood grocery store vibe. Other than that, I must say that it was a break shopping here versus a Jewel-Osco, Pete's Fresh Market, or Mariano's. Now along with the items shelved being organized, the market is acceptably clean, and the aisles have plenty of maneuvering space in-between. I particularly searched for breakfast foods in hopes that I could find something on the lines of a box of Jimmy Dean - Croissant Egg & Cheese, but I could not. The items I took a liking to and ended up purchasing were a box of Gardein Ultimate Plant-Based Be'f & Broccoli, Lean Cuisine Cheese Ravioli, Ore-Ida Tater Tots, and a box of Frosted Grape Pop Tarts which I had never encountered before, ever! The Ore-Ida Tater Tots were a must purchase for me because as of late, I have been addicted to cooking tater tots in my air fryer as a late evening snack! I know, I know it is so bad eating tater tots late in the evening, but gosh, they are so darn good! For the most part, I enjoyed shopping at Tony's Fresh Market, but I just cannot see myself shopping here regularly due to it being out of my way. Return visits for me depend on whatever cash back offers Upside puts out involving grocery purchases. For my readers, I will leave you with this joke since I likely lost half of you with my review. I consistently experience mushy fruits and avocado that is going bad internally. I don't think they practice good storage technique. The prices are also higher than before the change in ownership and the competition. For example they sell regular and organic bananas for 79 cents and 99 cents a pound. Whole Foods sells for 69 cents and 89 cents. I'll go to Tony's in a pinch if I desperately need something because it is walking distance but usually prefer to drive elsewhere where I get better quality for the same or slightly better price.
