Not my usual store and I will say not Aldi's are the same. This store was clean, the fruit didn't look like it had seen better days and there were a variety of seasonal items. When I asked an employee for help locating something I didn't get told "if you don't see it we don't have it" which is a common phrase at the aldi local to me. The cashier checking out was QUICK & friendly. I would definitely stop in the next time I'm out this way just to see what's available. read more

Not a happy place to shop. While prices are a bit lower than Walmart, shelves are often bare ... especially freezer shelves. Very disappointed Aldi chose to no longer stock coconut chocolate - it was the only store that did, so why discontinue it? if you don't stock it, of course sales will be low. Check out guy - Aaron - was extremely rude and condescending today. If you hate your job so much, quit, there are plenty of people with a better attitude, who would love to be working. My sister in Melbourne Australia has an outstanding Aldi in her neighborhood ... I guess my expectations that my Dallas Aldi would be just as terrific was too much to expect! read more

Standard Aldi grocery store. Everything was very well priced and good quality ingredients here. The service seemed different, there was no grocery bags so you have to make sure you have your own bag to carry things. There was also only one cashier, so it took some time to get checked out. So it was a little inconvenient, but makes sense for the low price. The ambience was standard, nothing really stood out. read more

I went to Aldi's on Forth Worth Ave. I did purchase some 1/2 price items. The cashier started ringing my merchandise up. I understand getting customers in and out but he was going to fast were he was overcharging me. I noticed and he finished and said I can check my receipt when I get out the line. I did check and was overcharging $20 something dollars. I had to stand back in line to get the adjustment from another cashier. Come to find out it was the manager that rung me up wrong.i didn't feel appreciated nor was there an apology. The one person that was apologizing was the security guard. My 5stars goes to security guard. Check your receipts because you are getting overcharged... The other clark kept my receipt to trash not knowing I have a image of it. read more

The one person that is usually there is very rude. Lines are all the way back to the back of the store and the clerk talks about other coworkers rather than dealing with customers in line. Products, great service awful. read more

I wish there was an option for zero. I arrived to shop at this Aldi store. This would have been my first visit to any Aldi store. If I had actually entered the store. I walked up to the doors and saw carts outside in two queues to the left. I grabbed the first cart in the right queue and wrenched my back out (still killing me even with ice and pain reliever applied). The carts were locked up. A strange older lady then proceeded to try to sell me something (cookies maybe) in tupperware so that she could make change and give me a quarter in change. The fee is apparently what is needed to get a locked cart. This lady physically blocked the row of carts in the left queue. Creepy. I left immediately. If you need to lock up and charge for your carts, how about keeping them inside instead? read more

This location has gotten better over the last year. It's the basics, pick and choose what you can. I read packages for sugar and salt especially. It's the closest to the house and easy to park. They're doing better at keeping produce rotated and the checkers are always friendly, fast and kind. Prices are much better than the larger places down the street, especially for things like salad kits. I buy a bag of cole slaw mix to stretch the salad kits. I tell my sister who loves TJMaxx, it's like that only for food. Stay out of the middle aisle though. read more

Aldo's is a very simple and inexpensive grocery store They don't have much staff, they don't offer free bags, and the place is so small Even though it's a small grocery store, you are still able to find everything you want at a discounted place Just don't expect anything fancy or amazing customer service You go in and get out I recommend you buy pre packaged stuff here like canned foods, cereals, eggs, and milk I don't know if the quality is the best over here, but they do a good job of not selling a bad product for a good price Bring your own bags This will speed up the process and create less headache read more

The staff here are the best. It is a smaller than normal Aldi but has what you need.

Good to know the gallon of milk is only .98 cent once again just wonder for how long will it be for this price. Also the big bag of Jasmine rice is $3.49. Valentine cake mix for .69 cents and the frosting .39 cents. So many great cheap deals. read more

I have come to Aldi several times after looking at the ads but remained hesitant to purchase anything after I got to the store. Typically I look at fruits and veggies but after inspection the products didn't look good or I could get them at Walmart cheaper. The times I did put a few things in a bag I got to the front only to find a long line and few cashiers so for the amount I was purchasing it was what I felt as a waste of my time. We recently traveled to Germany and I saw many stores there and realized that is where they are headquartered. On the occasion you can find some cool German/European items but then the line to check out. read more

Yes, I am a fan of Aldi! Not only do they have low prices, but they also run specials, so you can really find the bargains! This Aldi has a large parking lot so it is always easy to get in and out easily. I always keep a quarter in the car's ashtray so I am ready to grab a grocery cart even when I make an impromptu visit. If you have never shopped at Aldi, they are genius in how to keep the carts at the store. Insert a quarter, which released the cart from the one in front of it. Once you are finished shopping, push the cart into the corral, insert the cord from the previous cart, which pushes out the quarter. See, genius! The produce here is fresh and of great quality. Now, they don't always offer the same items. For example, we love portobello mushrooms. A few visits ago, I scored with super low priced portobellos, which would cost at least double at another grocery. Yes, you will have to bag your own purchase. If you think about it, any more you have to do the same thing at Kroger because they are too cheap to hire employees. I always have reusable totes in my vehicle, so this is not a problem, especially when I know I am saving money. Oh, I would be remiss if I didn't mention one of the employees that I always see when I shop. I don't know his name, but he is an African-American gentleman who, well, I am not even sure his title. He does the stocking but I am wondering if he is the manager. He is so friendly and greets everyone. I know there are "regulars" because he greets them by name and has a nice conversation with them. I enjoy shopping at Aldi because of the low prices. One thing I don't like though is that the cashier's are speedy at checkout and sometimes make mistakes. I bought 2 Zulka sugar bags for $3.49 each, when I got home, I checked my receipt and noticed that I was charged for 3. I know $3.49 is not that much, but just imagine how much the cashiers are over charging the customers, it adds up over time. My advice is to check your receipt before leaving the store, that way if there are any discrepancies, it can be taken care of before you leave. read more

First visit to aldi I didn't really like it because everything is private label, the shopping basket requires a quarter for use plus you have to bag your own groceries. Recently I tried it again with a more open mind and found it fun to save money and I found some organic products like spaghetti sauce. They even have take n bake pizzas priced at five to seven dollars. I even like buying their Chianti wine to go with my pizza. Truth be told it's the wine that keeps me going back because its cheaper than even Sam's. Sometimes in life you must to get out of your own way to get your rewards. It may seem silly but now that I'm over the private label thing I really enjoy going to Aldi. Give it a try or two maybe even 3 and see if you like it too. Oh and by the way it's a German chain so it brings me a little taste of Europe each and every time I walk in. read more

I'd say 3.5 stars if yelp allowed. If you read the labels and do the math they blow other grocery stores out of the water. The prices are so good I am hesitant. But if you are an extreme label reader like myself you will find some deals. Overheard today by 2 other shoppers - 'I am taking the -------- I just purchased at yesterday at Albertsons back for a refund'. Again, I am still wondering how their prices can be so good and I have kept the quality I am familiar with by closely reading the labels and the ultimate judge - taste. read more
