They also have a sushi bar near the entrance with staff making various fresh rolls. Friendly store associates are helpful and constantly restocking, so there is plenty of availability. Be sure to check out their weekly ads, lots of good deals. It is usually pretty crowded with customers in store and in the parking lot, best to shop early in the mornings. Almost everyone has full carts but there are many registers open with efficient cashiers, so the lines move fast. There are store associates that help you find and point you to the shortest check out line too. Clean, organized, and spacious store with a warehouse atmosphere. Quality grocery and household items. Great place to stock up for large families on a budget!

The produce section is huge with plenty of different fresh vegetables. But I suggest you come early because you will get the pick over veggies. No one loves pick over veggies. If you're looking for gluten-free, vegan, or other specialty products, the selection here is excellent. The store is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. A nice bonus is the Amazon return counter inside the store. You can bring eligible Amazon returns without packaging, and they handle the rest. One thing I wanted to mention for anyone trying to take advantage of the current Amazon Prime ice cream promotion (50% off pints through July 7): this location has had ongoing ice cream issues. I visited twice recently and found the freezers completely empty both times. On one visit, staff said they were waiting on a shipment; on the next visit, they explained that the freezer had broken and posted a sign stating that no ice cream pints were available for sale. So if you're specifically coming for the ice cream deal, I'd recommend calling ahead first or checking another Whole Foods location. Aside from that issue, it's still a great store and a very convenient Whole Foods for the Sugar Land area.

There just is nothing so overwhelming that the price per pound should be as high as it is. Salad bar items are 11.99 a pound. Olive bar, I would expect to be higher but not 11.99 as well. I completely understand and it's very well known that because of its organic food selections and quality that Whole Foods does selectively market to a higher economic demographic that is less price sensitive. However, I am in that upper demographic and I'm getting distracted by getting a salad and some olives and walking out of the store with a $35 bill. At this price, I can just eat at a restaurant, and a decent one at that.

I was super happy to find gasoline at prices comparable to Austin,TX at this HEB. Houston's gas prices are generally 50c to $1 more per gallon than Austin. The gas station was self-service. It was starting to get cold again so folks were bundled up trying to stay warm. In fact, some folks starting the gas pumping process and stayed in their cars until their car's tank was full. Pretty chilly environment... I gassed up and then headed to my hotel...No food was purchased.

It was so unexpected as I told the cashier who was so friendly and celebrated my joy. I was told They would not arrive until the 4th by my local traders. They arrived on the 1st. The location was fully stocked, service was great and I love the wine display they have. The staff seemed happy to be there. The store organized and clean. I will definitely make the trip to shop here again.

The aisles were clean and incredibly organized. Before you knew it, we had a whole cart full of groceries to carry us over on our trip. The pricing was very affordable and we were so surprised at the value we got from shopping there. I ended up getting 70 in total because all Blue Bell was on big time sale. I did a little more shopping for dinner I'm making tonight. Oh, got a free 32 oz box of pancake mix! All in all, I got 12 items for just under $38. Came home and did a quick price comparison of those same products at other grocers. HEB would have been $11 more and Kroger, $18 more. Granted Blue Bell goes on sale often and I just hit the jackpot at Foodtown. I've never seen produce like they have. Just gorgeous! Three large cucumbers for $1. Three bunches of large green onions, $1. Next time I make any Mexican food, I am definitely going to Foodtown for their vast selection of products. Visiting the Sugarland Keemat for the first time. Looks…read morebigger than the Hillcroft one but am not sure. Has similar set-up too, but i was told that ownership is different, so am thinking its on the lines of a franchise. Their food corner is much bigger with an in store kitchen. I believe some items like the vada pav, the samosas , and of course the dhokla get shipped to Hillcroft from here. They have an in house chat corner with two tables tucked away which I wouldn't suggest. Its a place to sit down for a bit, while I do appreciate the idea, it felt like I was eating in the middle of a warehouse , I didn't like it and did not even enjoy the bhel I bought. It probably was good I cannot say, I was famished and was so glad to find that they had my favorite chats, but once I sat down I just gulped down and couldn't wait to escape towards the better side of the store.... I would get a to- go next time. The vegetables I bought were fresh and the crates and crates of mangoes were just soo inviting. They carry everything required in an Indian kitchen and much more.

I have been going to Keemat Grocers since 1988 when it was on Settler's Way and Hwy 6. I bought products for the upcoming Lakshmi puja, but I dropped the bag on the floor and it touched my feet. I wanted to exchange four items ( a coconut , paan, bel leaves, and 2 suparies), and this staff initially wouldn't exchange the items and said so rudely and said to just wash them. I told him no and he very rudely asked me to get the items. I was shocked with his rudeness as if I was trying to get things for free. I would appeal to Bengalis in Sugar Land not to support Keemat grocers unless they train their staff to be polite and cordial.
