The store has a really good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices, and I also like that they carry a variety of international items you don't always see at other grocery stores. A few things to keep in mind: you do have to bag your own groceries, and if you want to use a shopping cart, you'll need to insert a quarter--but you get it back when you return the cart, which is actually pretty convenient. 2/22/25 Here for bananas & ended up shopping for more stuff. We're visiting my cousin to hang out & decided to stop by to get bananas coz we're fresh out. Ended up buying corn, spinach, bell peppers, cucumbers & grapes, Saw the $9.00 dozen eggs & so glad we got ours from a co-workers friend who owns chickens on her property. Farm fresh & it supports her, her young daughter helps care for the chickens & the egg sale proceeds are for her college fund. This location is clean & fairly organized. Cashier was efficient, not the most enthusiastic but friendly enough as some are almost like cheerleaders. Prices here are definitely better than Albertsons or Ralph's but is is limited in terms of merchandise. Parking is plentiful but shared with other businesses like Daiso & Burlington's. I kept seeing all these reels about the great finds that people bought in Aldi and I had to see it for myself. Being from Northern California and not having an Aldi near by, this was my chance. This grocery store is a mix of Trader Joes, meets Grocery Outlet, meets a Target Bullseye area, meets.....well I don't know what else it meets but it's a great mix of seasonal decor, food and grocery items. I went down aisle by aisle. Everything was clean, employees were friendly. Even though everything was organized, there was some items that were on the shelves but there was no price. Kind of annoying since I didn't grab a cart and I didn't want to go to the front for a price check. Prices were great, very reasonable, but of course my favorite section was the seasonal/holiday area. Wow....I did go a little crazy and bought many things such as a throw blanket, mascara, eggnog coffee k-cups, little individual bags of nuts, candy, eyeshadow, pens, journals, makeup eraser cloth dupes.... what an array! Too bad there is no Aldi in the Bay Area or else I would be making frequent stops to check out their seasonal area. read more

This was my first trip to the new Aldi in Riverside off Pyrite. I didn't have a quarter for a cart so that really sucked, and the employees were not pleasant at all. The couple of things I was able to carry were a decent deal so I may try it again with a cart, but not super impressed with the whole experience. I am also concerned about the review I read about an employee spraying something. Maybe their prices are better because their employees are paid less and stores are not as sanitary as they should be. read more

Love coming here! Friendly and quick service. Every time I come here the staff is quick to greet me and ask if there's anything I need help finding. This location also has a great selection of ALDI finds. I come every 2 weeks and always get something new. Huge selection of keto items (bread,ice creamcookies, nuts, and tortilla wraps). They also have a fresh selection of veggies and fruits to choose from. I recenlty got addititecd tot their charcuterie board. Delicious salami and olives paired with chocolate, cheese, and crackers. I recently had whey will be my last trip to this Aldi's location. The customer service was terrible. The attitude of the check out person was less than helpful. I had noticed how she was impatient with people who were using cash and rudely expressed how she was being inconvenienced and "her line" was being held up by "old people" who weren't prepared before they came into "her line ". No awareness whatsoever of HER attitude OR the effect it was having on everyone there. I'm an older shopper now in my 70's and when I came to in to check out (?), she couldn't be bothered to place the items on the counter: she literally threw my items at me and then admonished me to be more courteous to HER and the other customers and be better prepared the next time I came to shop here. I managed to keep my composure and attempted to apologize for "inconveniencing" her and she said loudly the all to hear : "I don't appreciate the attitude lady!" That' was it for me. Due to inflation, Aldi has become my go-to grocery. You can get lots of deals there. Cheaper than the groceries nearby. Another reason you can save money at Aldi is that they may not have the things you want, hence buy less =D. Be careful the shelf metal is super sharp. Let me start with a positive...I like their grocery selections. I've been shopping at this store since they opened andd I have yet to get good customer service. Every checker that I have encountered acts as if I'm bothering them. They rarely say hello. The self checkouts are closed and I forced to use those with terrible checkers. read more

Saw one of the workers walking around the store spraying something into the air.. Right in front of my path.. While people were shopping... spraying all over the back of the store walking towards the meat section. I truly hope that wasn't pesticide because Ive been shopping here for at least a year. I don't want anything sprayed over my products. Weather its vegetables, packaged foods, or the cans i drink from. Ill find a new store to shop at. Couple of days ago. I was on my lunch break and went in to get some food. I love aldis. Great food and great deals. But the people who work here. Not so great. I know being a cashier is hard but this was crazy. I went in line to check out my 3 items !!! And the girl says "I'm closed" so I'm like okay no biggy. I go into the next line and the girl is like "I'm closed also" .... Like I only had 3 items now I'm losing time on my lunch. And I go into another line. The customer in line went said "oh you can ahead of me " girl if you're reading this thank you! But the two young cashiers. Uhm management needs to re train you on being a better customer service worker. I've worked cashier for almost 9 years. I would have understood if you had to clock out immediately but you both just walked up together to talk smack. Please do better and reading the other comments about this aldis and poor etiquette I'm not the only one to complain. Do better. read more

Aldi is one of the best stores around and I'm crazily addicted. I have to admit, I go to Aldi at least twice a week. I just can't get enough of their great deals and Wednesday specials. Does it mean I am now my mom because the weekly circulars and sneak peaks are the highlight of my week?! Well I go to the Tyler location and love it! They always have great produce. I always get my cucumbers, spinach, tomatoes, arugula and other veggies. They are really good and reasonably priced. They also have a great variety of cheeses, dips, and meats for charcuterie. They mostly carry their specific brand of things which is fine by me but if your looking for name brand items, Aldi is not your place. The meat section is good too. Ground turkey is my favorite from here and priced great. My favorite is the non food section. They have household decor, garden, outdoor, kitchen, and other items. Every now and again, I find great things for a good deal. All and all, I love Aldi and love the Tyler location. The team is fast and friendly. I will be back each week to see what's new! read more

They don't have as much as I would gave hoped for for a grocery store. Considering other grocery stores are down the block, Aldi seems to be more priced or over priced. They do however have some different things that some other stores dont. They make you pay to use their grocery cart. And they make you bag your own groceries. Hard to beat ALDI's prices on essential food items. Their breads, deli meats, and cheeses are esp excellent quality and the most affordable you'll find anywhere. I esp like their Natures Nectar Apple Cider in the gallon, and their refrigerated 16" Mama Cozzi's Pizzas. Superb taste, quality, and unmatched value. The store is clean and you can get in and out quickly. read more

So this was my 1st visit to Aldi. I didn't know you needed $.25 to acquire a shopping cart. I don't carry cash & had no loose change so I had to do without. I probably would have purchased more items if I had a cart. The wine aisle looked promising. Picked up a couple of bottles of red with a cute label that caught my eye. Please see my photos. Oh, & a 16 lb bag of kibbles for a sweet tortie who I hope will let me pet her someday. I forgot to take a pic of it. Will take pic tomorrow. We love going to Aldi. The store is big and has almost everything you need for a grocery trip. I like to get the produce here and snakes for kiddo. The prices are great and the organic produce is always good. I usually get grapes, apples, and berries here. The organic section is not huge but it has a good variety of basic veggies. The cheese is a great price compared to other stores being about 4 dollars less for a block of cheese. The meat selection has some marinated chicken like pollo asada cut up and whole pieces. There is also carne asada and al pastor. There is ground beef and some roasts. I believe I also saw some lamb. The meat items have all been good. I haven't tried all the meats but the ones I have tried are good. The lunch meats are very good , I have gotten the sliced turkey and ham. It all taste great. I went in today and did my normal grocery haul and decided to just get beer there instead of going to 2 places. Did a whole week for literally half the price of other grocery stores. They also put coupons in the advertisements, like $10 off of 40. Right now, you do not need to bring a quarter to get a cart. Before the Covid you needed a quarter to get a cart to shop. The sore is also very clean and has a a lot of clerks cleaning the store. Overall, the store is great and has a nice selection of food items. The coupons are great and really help keep the cost down. I've been shopping there every week since they opened a year or so ago -- and today they lost my business. I've ignored produce going bad before it should, ignoring the fact that they they don't carry a lot of produce (eggplant, Poblano Peppers, just to name a few), a brand new bag of chips that were stale that I threw away instead of returning, a container of Kosher deli pickles that were slimy and inedible (those I DID take back) and one bad customer service experience after another -- for example, a few weeks ago I got in Angela's line; her light was on and she was behind the cash register, and as soon as I loaded my groceries on the belt she tells me she's closed. I told her that her light is still on, and then she turned it off and walked away. That should have been it for me, but it's conveniently located and their prices are fair so I kept going back. Then tonight a female customer walked in without a mask on and proceeded to shop without wearing one, even though it is required that all customers wear one. She got into Rebeca's line and wasn't asked or told anything. When it was my turn and Rebeca THREW (something they're known for -- not being delicate or considerate of the customer's items!) my stuff into another cart other than mine, I asked if the new cart had been sanitized. She said yes, and I told her she'll have to forgive my skepticism but that I'm not exactly feeling safe after seeing them allowing customers in there who are mask-less. She said I should have alerted an associate, and I said "YOU'RE the one who checked out her groceries.". Nothing. Then she thrust my receipt in my general direction with not so much as thank you or have a nice night. I swear, I think Aldi's advertises for employees with the headline, "If you're rude and snotty, boy, have we got a job for you!". F*** this place and everyone that works there. I come here pretty often and this is my favorite grocery store since covid and I stopped in here today for a few quick items. The produce is very cheap here and fresh. Good prices for baking, snacks, pizza, etc. I love the meat pizza or combo pizza, we eat it every other week or so. Definitely my go-to store. Sometimes the line to checkout is crowded, so I try to come here during an off-peak time when it's less crowded. read more
