    Delicious Key Lime Pie-YUM
    Kathryn S.

I love Key Lime Pie so when I heard about Kenny's, I had to try it. Verdict? Delicious I've bought their pies at their main location in an office park on Highlands Parkway and at Kroger on South Atlanta Road. Their cold pies are amazing. Smooth and creamy. Not too light and not too heavy. The crust is substantial enough to hold the pie together. The subtle lime taste is authentic and not overpowering like those fake-tasting, fake-looking key lime pies around town. I've also had their Peanut Butter Pie covered in chocolate and in a chocolate crust. Oh my goodness. Pure Heaven. Kenny's Pies put a smile on my face. =)

Excellent taste and convenience. Kenny has key lime locked in and a great pie! We use it for our club meals/deserts.

Weirdest tasting key lime pie. It's like super sweet lime scented yogurt in a mushy graham crust.

I'm a fan of their key lime, as well as the peanut butter pies. Absolutely the highest quality prepared to perfection.

Key lime was delish. Not a fan of tart pies but excellent crust and filling. Pleasantly surprised, purchased at Kroger's in Marietta.

My expectations for a grocery store bought key lime pie are typically low, but this pie is delicious!

It was very crowded, lots of events happening (birthdays and other celebrations). So I cut them some slack with the wait time. Waiter was not as attentive as he could've been. I had Shrimp Scampi which came cold. I ate the shrimp and left the pasta. I wasn't impressed at all and I've been here before and had great food ...but the vibe is different now. We had to ask for the bread to be brought out. We waited about an hour for the food to come out and when we were ready to go had to wait for the waiter to come cash us out. Always like The Cheesecake Factory, but this likely is my last time patronizing this location. We should have gone to Maggianos.

Our reservation is at 6 and we were seated by 6:08. Took a few minutes for our server to come greet us, we all started off with waters, but said that we will be ordering drinks and we have one more friend arriving in 10mins. Came back with the water and bread baskets and he disappeared again. Our friend arrives and finally got our server's attention to order appetizers. At this point, we were kind of annoyed and the birthday girl said to forget about the drinks. She flagged some other server down to refill our waters (still haven't seen our server come back after taking our appetizer order). Someone delivered our appetizer and we asked him to refill our waters again. At this point, we see our neighboring table's server more than we see ours. Birthday girl flagged someone else down for more waters and we just sat and waited. Finally was able to flag down someone, probably a manager that was walking around, told him that we haven't seen our server in a long time and we would like to order dinner. He said ok, walked away and came back and said that he will take our order. His demeanor / attitude was short and borderline rude (at least when he was talking to me) but so soft spoken and patient with my friend sitting across from me with her questions. Not sure if he felt some kind of way because I said and quote "We haven't seen our server in a while and we would really like to order dinner." Once we ordered... more waiting, then suddenly... our server popped up and was like "are you guys ready to order?" What??? do you guy who work together don't communicate with one another? We told him we already did and just just gave a nod and walked away. Took about 30-40mins before we got our food. Our server did stop by once during that wait to let us know that it'll be ready soon. My friend's first concern was... is out food going to be hot? Finally when we got our food she took a bite of her chicken and she said "it's just warm", the birthday girl's chicken was also just warm, my pasta was slightly undercook and also just warm. The last 2 entrees that's delivered to our other friends, the fried cauliflower... was hot. The veggie burger was hot but the whole thing fell apart when she picked it up. She also had to wait for her sweet potato fries, which was actually fresh. Then our server popped up to check on us, we went ahead and told him to put in our to-go order and asked for our check (not really sure how long it would take for him to come back if we let him leave... LOL). We all just kind of picked at our food, the quality of the food is just not there and we were really annoyed at the lack of service that we got. I ordered the Jambalaya pasta and the chocolate truffle tower to go for my husband and when I got home (30min drive) and open the food... It was dried, the pasta was undercooked, there was no flavor (not the jambalaya that my husband got when eating in). He took a bite and said it was the most disgusting thing ever. As bad as the food and the service is, at least they can still make a decent cake / cheesecake. Being home and taking a bit of that cake is the best thing of the night. Definitely not the cheesecake factory we know and remember. The birthday girl's dinner experience was ruined and she was really annoyed with the lack of service and the quality of the food as are the rest of the party.

We saw some of the really cute things in the window, so we walked in and it did not disappoint. The place was filled with chocolates macaroons and a whole bunch of pastries. You could also order a whole variety of espresso drinks and lattes, etc. It even had a really cute seating area directly outside, but if you could fit yourself inside, there was some bar seating as well. The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. I don't know who's making this stuff but they are truly talented. I have to come back here again when I'm in Buckhead Village.

I had the chocolate chip with sea salt, and my husband had the red velvet with sea salt. Huge servings and we could not finish them while out. Everyone was nice and welcoming, and the shop itself is adorable. It's very well put together, and I loved the way they have the display case set up. It's a cute little spot, and visually, it makes a great impression. Now, for me, where it fell short was the actual cookies. I felt like all of the ones we ordered tasted the same, which was really strange. When we went in, my mom ordered a Red Velvet and a Banana Moon Pie, and I got the Carrot Cake and Oatmeal Raisin. I'm someone who really enjoys cookies, and I'm a bit of a stickler about them--especially oatmeal raisin. I want to taste the oats. But this one didn't deliver. The base of it tasted more like a standard chocolate chip cookie dough, and while it had some raisins and cranberries, it just didn't give me that distinct oatmeal raisin flavor I was expecting. My mom ended up receiving a Chocolate Chip instead of her Red Velvet, which was disappointing because she was really looking forward to that one. She did enjoy the Banana Moon Pie and said it tasted just like an actual moon pie. I've never had one myself, so I couldn't speak to it, but she was happy with it. I also took a bite of her chocolate chip cookie, and it tasted exactly like my oatmeal raisin--same dough, same flavor. And that was the pattern. The Carrot Cake cookie, too, didn't stand out. It had a drizzle of icing on top, but beyond that, I couldn't taste anything that made it feel like a true carrot cake-inspired cookie. It just felt like the same base dough across all the flavors. I wouldn't personally go back, but I do recommend that people try it for themselves. Everyone's palate is different, and maybe it was just my batch. I'm genuinely curious to hear what others think. If you do try it, please let me know--did the cookies taste the same to you too? Again, the service was great, and the shop itself is beautiful. I wanted to love it because I love cookies, but this time, it just didn't meet the mark for me. Still, I think it's worth checking out for yourself and forming your own opinion.
