Finally! There are plenty of Aldis where I live in my location, but finally this opened up where my family lives when I visit. The location is in a prominent retail area with plenty of parking out front. Procedure is the same - you grab a cart using a quarter and then the quarter will get returned to you when you return the cart. Inside, the aisles are wide and they look clean. Items were full and well stocked. Produce looked very good and fresh. I always get plenty of produce, cheese, other dairy items and ground meat and fish. I've never had an issue with quality or taste. I also like their selection of crackers and charcuterie items. This location does not have self checkout, but the line was pretty quick with the cash registers. I did observe a few of those driving cards if you are unlimited mobility and need to use one. There is not an employee in this store that is not rude to customers. We will never shop there again. Been there several times because of location, however after being snapped at once again by the cashier .....nada...no way. Please stay away from this Aldi's location the employees are extremely rude and unfriendly to customers. Like other shoppers I no longer carry pocket change on hand for the shopping cart. And, no carts available inside except 6 or so all locked up. What good is that? I kept collecting groceries until it became too heavy. And, not once did a employee offer assistance after witnessing me carry this heavy box around. I'm a 60 yr old disabled senior citizen but no employee ever once offered to help me. So I decided to ask for help but no one was at checkout, so I grabbed the unused cart by register. Then I seen a female employee smirk, roll her eyes and turn her head up in disgrace. But she never said anything. I thought how rude to react like this. I ended shopping with a full cart well over $100 in groceries. Nearly $112 to be exact but I guess I'm suppose to drag several box's around the store..?. After shopping I approached check out and this cashier Tyler says rather angry to me..Oh yah, since you decided to take my cart you're going to have to exchange it for this cart. I thought what, seriously! So how do I get these groceries out of here. I'm thinking why didn't he just offer to help me. Secondly, why would Tyler be this rude to a store customer who is bringing them good business.. Well I no longer carry change on hand. So, am I just not to shop here because I don't carry extra change for a cart..? Unbelievable! Well upon leaving I asked him do you really want to chase away your customers to potentially lose some business over a cart..? He didn't answer me accept to say; "Exchange my cart." I thought "WOW REALLY!" So again I asked him what's your name, he told me Tyler and I asked what's your manger's name he said humorously "Ava" and she's here too. I said great, what's her manger's name. He paused not expecting I would ask such a question. Then he said; Nell. Okay, I said; so can you call for the manager because I want to talk to her. He calls her up telling her I'm the customer that stole his cart and he's not happy. Unbelievable behavior. Over a cart, he was going to treat a customer this crappy after I just spent over $100. What kind of operation is this I thought. Unbelievable! Next comes the "so called manager" of the store. I quickly realized it was the employee that smirked and rolled her eyes at me in disgust earlier. Mind you this was after she saw me already carrying this heavy box of groceries all around. Okay, the first thing she says is; Oh yah, since you decided to take that cart you are now going to have to return it back to the inside of this store. I thought "Oh my gosh" are you kidding me..? I showed her my receipt stating I just spent over $100 in groceries and you're treating me like this.. Then she yells out loud in the store to completely embarrass me and makes a seen in front of the whole store; SIR, you will have to return this cart to the inside of this store. I said; I was planning on it but why are you making it such a big deal when I'm clearly carrying a heavy load of groceries. She then said something that absolutely floored me. She said; and don't you even attempt to return it to the other carts outside to take that quarter. I said; you can't be serious right now as I showed her my receipt again and said I just spent over $100, $111.77 to be exact so why would I be overly concerned about a single quarter. She was momentarily silent. Then again she makes another big seen in front of all customers and yells once more at me; SIR, you need to return this cart to the inside of this store. I said; "WOW okay!" I already told you that I plan on it. But she ignored this fact. So I asked who is the manager and she laughed and grinned saying; I am with a snobbish look on her face. So I said really and you don't help customers without pocket change to get a shopping cart..? She says; you chose to take that cart and she continued scolding me. It was beyond unbelief at this point and I thought where do they get these type of people..? rude, nasty and spiteful who are supposed to be representing a good company in faith. It was beyond unbelief and I thought am I dreaming or something. Then, I said so your the manager hah..? She smiled real big, I am so that's how it is. I said; Oh my gosh, well who is the real manager and she again said; I am. I said, no, no that can't possibly be true. So please tell me who is your manager because I know you have one too. She paused a minute then said; It's Nell and she's not here, she's gone and wont be back for a long, long time. I said okay that's fine as I turn away she walks off with her nasty, nasty attitude. People please, "DO NOT" shop here, these Aldi employees are rude, and very unfriendly to customers. They have limited social skills, they have zero empathy & zero tolerance for customers. The Aldi's store owner & head manager need to discipline these employees if not outright fire them for such disgraceful & abusive behavior. read more

Went there had three orders for Instacart. The cashier was rude mixed our orders up just threw everything in the cart. Ava was very unprofessional. And she also over rang a couple items on her order. We finally have an Aldi in Surprise and it is in the old building of the bed bath and beyond. The inside is very spacious and open with plenty of room in the aisles. They have a large selection of all kinds of food including fresh and frozen plus they even have cute items for pets and your home! Remember to bring a quarter to be able to use a cart, you get it back once you return the cart. Also they do not have plastic bags and they charge for paper bags so if you have reusable ones bring those too! read more
