We ordered a washer, dryer, and refrigerator from Aldridge Allhome. The washer and dryer were installed before we moved into our new home but were not the pair that we ordered. We finally resolved ourselves to the pair received and eventually received a refund. One year later I am finding that my new house is always filled with dust. Why? Well, today I discovered that the 4" round dryer hose is not fully attached to an oval-shaped vent. Aldridge jimmy-rigged the hose to stay semi attached, allowing dryer dust and air to escape into the laundry room and eventually throughout the house. I went to Home Depot and found the oval to round attachment. No more floating dust particles escaping from the dryer hose. Alldridge Allhome needs to provide better service. read more

I had a Maytag dryer that suddenly stopped working/turning on. I went to the Maytag/whirlpool website and filled out the online form with model and serial numbers to set up factory authorized service. The service provider in my area was listed as Aldridge. The prospective service date from the website was 1/2/23. I tried following up with Aldridge but the phone was never answered and no one ever called me back. I got one email from them that said "We will be in touch soon." Not confirming the 1/2/23 appointment or giving any further indication of when the actual service would be performed. Their answering system has a days old message about week before Christmas 12/19/22 closure. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at this place. In the meantime I fixed the dryer myself with a $3 fuse after watching a YouTube video and cleaning my dryer vent. read more

I bought my wood flooring from Aldridge. The flooring itself is beautiful and I paid a great price for it, BUT, this installation was terrible! I was told my floors would be completed on the 22nd of September. They didn't bring the wood to my house until the 19th. Definitely not the 72 hours needed to acclimate. The installers showed up on the 21st and said they had forgotten their glue. They left and didn't come back. They made 6 trips to the house over a two weeks time period, only working a few hours a day. There are gaps around my door frames and in front of the doors. When I called to complain, they sent a man out with a caulking gun to fill the holes! It looks awful. Two weeks late and a horrible looking patch job on beautiful flooring. We purchased all of our appliances (originally with Biff) from Aldridge and during the process, the original owner passed away. We spent quite a bit of money and expected great products. We have had some minor issues with the microwave but our real issue started with the refrigerator. It simply stopped cooling one day. This is a high end kitchen aid and it is about 3 years old. We attempted to call Aldridge to set up service but they never answered or returned calls. My mother in law and daughter actually drove there and attempted to talk to Mark the owner but was passed on to a person who handles some of their service calls. This person came to our house tore the refrigerator apart and decided it was a circuit board that needed to be replaced. He found the part on Amazon and said if I ordered it, he would come and install it. I ordered the part at $361 and when it arrived he came and installed it. Turns out this was not the faulty part and now I had an opened item to return to amazon and still no resolve to my issue. This is now two weeks in. I called Mark to tell him what had happened and he stated he would find out what happened and call me back. He never called back. So I called the service guy and asked what was next and he told me that he would now have to start disconnecting part by part to see what was faulty. I asked him point blank if the job was to big and if I should just call Kitchen aid and set up a service call. He finally admitted it was beyond his scope and said I should call kitchen aid, which we did. Now not only did I have a part going back to amazon for over $300 but now I have a bill for repair of over $600 from the kitchen aid service team. But at least my appliance is fixed. The part from amazon was refunded only at 50% due to a restocking fee as well. I would think long and hard about buying you appliances from this store at this point because they simply do not provide the service Mark indicated they would. We also purchased carpet from Mark but we are not very excited about the though of using him for any cleaning or service on anything we have purchased from Aldridge. What we thought was a great alternative to the big box stores has not turned out to be. read more

I purchased a used freezer from them in June of last year (2018). I was told it had a brand new compressor in it. I paid $250. A month after I got it home, it quit cooling. Aldridge sent a guy to pick it up. They delivered it back repaired. Now, after nine months from the repair, the freezer has stopped cooling again. I tried calling multiple times, during business hours, and left messages. None of my calls were never returned. Though I do not live in Sherman or Denison, I decided to drive into Sherman to talk to them about fixing it. A young gentleman and I talked about what was wrong. He stepped to the back to talk to someone. When he came back he quoted prices to have it fixed.I told him I did not feel it was my responsibility since I had had the freezer for less than a year. His reply was "What do you expect, it's a used freezer?" I told him I expected their workmanship to last longer than 10 mo. I will not pay them to fix what they couldn't/didn't fix properly before. My experience has not been good. I will not shop at this business, again. read more

Got a brand new whirlpool French door fridge, cabrio washer and dryer. The sales process was very pleasant. They listened to what i was trying to do, even talked me through potential negatives on the items i chose. Had me test to see if i could reach the bottom of the cavernous washing machine. Talked me through the hookups needed for the steam settings on the dryer and explained the setup required to use all of the options. I got a really good deal. They were delivered the next day. The delivery guy walked me through using them and all the settings. He was courteous and careful not to damage my home or my amazing new appliances. I've had them for about a month and i could not be happier. Great products. Great prices. Great service. I will most definitely return if i need any additional appliances. read more
