This was our first time dining at the Disneys Yacht Club Ale and Compass restaurant. It's definitely a top tier experience, to the ambience and of course the food. They also offer a wide variety of specialty drinks. Whether it's a one time visit or frequent visits, it's all definitely worth the splurge. Our waiter was top notch, funny, and very accommodating. We saw the lunch menu which sparked an interest and we will definitely be back to try the fish and chips. We look forward to be back for a more laid back dining experience between our park hopping days to come. If you can get a reservation definitely make one, and enjoy a wonderful meal at the Disney Yacht Club Ale & Compass restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant with stellar ambience. All the tables are really well spread out. We got the breakfast with morning brunch and it was so yummy. The mini chocolate chip muffins were the best I'd ever had in my life. The fruit on the buffet looked so perfect it almost seemed polished. Incredibly clean. The service was so/so. The server didn't really come around often or if we asked for something it took a really long time which is why I took off one star. It's a nice play and you expect a nice experience. Overall loved it and think it could be a five star location!!

I love the ale & compass breakfast. The continental option gives you the ability to get food from a little buffet and also order an entree. The buffet has more than enough to make a whole meal honestly: fruit, yogurt, pastries, deviled eggs, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal. And then the entree is really big too so it's a lot of food but it's all very delicious! And I absolutely love this resort, it's so beautiful and calming

OMG! So good. Everything we ordered was FABULOUS!!! The crab bisque was so creamy and flavorful with small chunks of blue crab. The mussels were little cakes with a crostini on top. S

I should have trusted my gut and listened. I wanted to like this place but I did not. I'll also never eat here again, which is fine. There's so many dining options in Disneyworld. Ugh. I visited this place two times while I was here. The service was not that great. Maybe it's just me? but I didn't feel comfortable eating here at all. No one was flat out rude, but the energy and vibe was off. I also tried ordering a meal with the order dining on the app. There was an issue with the kids meal where it would not let me add water (which comes with the meal and clearly says it does), even though you could also then buy a separate water. I don't have this issue ordering on the app in CA, not sure why there is so much technical difficulty with this particular restaurant. But it was also a hassle getting what was rightly paid for. Also, the staff in the front had allowed the mom in front of me to order a kids meals to go in person but then changed the rules for others (including me). I don't agree with that at all. If you allow an order for one, allow it for all. She ordered a kid pasta with no sauce just butter (yes I overhead), and then when asked for the same thing because newsflash Disney a lot of kids like that over the sauce options, you're told no?? and you can only order what's available on the menu of which that app doesn't fully work appropriately?. It's insane. I've never been to a place that's so disorganized with the rules and with training their employees to be so wishy washy. Safe to say I had no appetite after that. And I hate the "rules only apply whenever we feel like it" attitude. Not coming back and food is mediocre so I guess it doesn't matter that much either. Not sure how this place stays in business. There are tons of other better restaurants in Disneyworld with worlds of better service. I will say I did appreciate the chocolate waffles, so if you decide to go you might as well try those out.

Thanks to Shannon we had a fabulous breakfast! She had exceptional guest service and perfect suggestions when we ordered. The $28 enhanced buffet deal is fantastic. You order a full entree and also get the continental buffet. The cheddar cheese biscuits and gravy on the buffet is amazing, that alone is worth the cost. The steak and eggs entree is pretty darn good as the steak is tender and perfectly seasoned. We all enjoyed our entrees and were able to take home the leftovers. Thank you Shannon for making our morning magical! Keep doing what you are doing.

It was my first time trying this restaurant and I was really excited to check it out! My friend invited me and I went with my 4yo daughter. The restaurant is located inside Disney's yacht club and I was instantly charmed by the beautiful lobby and relaxing vibe. We were seated right away, and our server was wonderful and friendly and very attentive. As we checked the menu two dishea caught my eyes: the crab cake and the steak and eggs. I decided to go for steak and eggs (medium rare). While the flavor was good, the steak was unfortunately tough and hard to chew, which was dissapointing. The eggs were nicely done, and the dish came with potatoes, beets and cube ham. The kids menu was a nice surprise! It includes a drink, main dish and two sides. My daughter had apple juice, chicken fingers with mac and cheese and chocolate chip cookie ice cream for dessert. She love everything and ate it all! We were able to use the passholder 40% discount which made it a great deal. I'm glad we had the discount because paying full price for a tough steak would've been a letdown. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I love Disney and spending time with friends.

Came here for breakfast. They have orange and peach mimosas. I entered in my allergies when making the reservation and they gave allergy menus. The app indicates they have GF Mickey waffles but the menu doesn't show that. I asked the server and she said they can make them. I ordered the American breakfast with no meat and they subbed fruit. My friend's GF waffles were dry - a little overcooked but mine were really good. The eggs and potatoes were well seasoned.

Wonderful breakfast for the value at Disney! We all did the $28 deal where you have an entree and beverage (coffee, tea, soda) and access to a small continental buffet. There were lots of great entree options, we chose crab cake Benedict, American breakfast, and steak and egg (huge winner from us with the creamy brown butter hollandaise and perfectly cooked steak). The buffet is a huge bonus with fresh fruits, pastries, cinnamon rolls that were packed with flavor and sweet frosting, and biscuits with sausage gravy. I especially enjoyed having the tiny cup of overnight oats with chocolate chips before my entree arrived! The resort has some construction out front so you park and walk over a bridge, would recommend dropping folks up close if they have mobility challenges. This hotel is beautiful and classy with nautical theming and an elegant flair. Would recommend this breakfast for a family wanting a great value and lots of good food. You can't beat these prices compared to most property dining options. Shout out to an amazing waitress Hieu who gave us the true Disney guest experience. She was exceptional. TIP: Definitely book a reservation if possible so you can ensure to have a spot. Sometimes when the resort has an event it can get crowded. This resort is part of the convention center.

Always a great experience. We had two cheeseburgers meals with buffet, and one shrimp and grits. All were very good. The buffet side dishes like overnight oats, biscuits and gravy and assorted sweet rolls were outstanding. Service is always so nice.

Located in the Disney Yacht Club, this restaurant is known for its costal cuisines but I was particularly in the mood for chicken and waffles! I was delighted to say that the chicken and waffles were pretty good, but I am saddened to hear that they no longer sell POG juice at this location (what's POG juice? It's one of those iykyk type of drinks. It basically tastes like Hawaii in a cup). It's a Disney restaurant, so it absolutely met the expectation of quality service, with a nice ambience. Ale and Compass has a more sophisticated look to it, versus some of the more thematic and whimsical restaurants on the Disney property.

Ale & Compass was our go-to restaurant for many years for both lunch and dinner. And then they added a great brunch. But we've been underwhelmed the past few years. Another victim of Covid perhaps. Sigh. I'm so disappointed in the Truffle Fries. They are a definite step down from a few years ago when they were arguably the best fries on property. We tried them at Crew's Cup recently, also, and these tasted less of freezer burn with a better texture. We don't plan on ordering them again. Yes, there are lots of other items at Ale & Compass but we always got the fries. I'm happy they brought back the Wedge Salad but the lardons and shrimp are peppery now. Needlessly peppery IMHO as the flavor you want is already in the lardons and shrimp. You get used to your favorite foods tasting the same and change isn't always welcome. Kudos for serving some of the best water on property! No Orlando water here! I'm looking at you, Whispering Canyon. We'll try back for lunch as they used to have excellent Fish n Chips (but only at lunch). Will report back then.

The location of this place is fantastic! I really enjoyed the walk on the Boardwalk to this restaurant. Fortunately for me, there were a few open reservations the very night I was booking. They seated my party quickly. There are a lot of great food options. This place is known for New England cuisine, per our server, who was very kind. I got their New England pot pie as my main dish. It was really delicious!! The crust itself is already so perfect - soft but very nicely flaky. The pot pie filling itself was tasty and filled with protein. I will say, the pot pie cream sauce was a bit on the saltier side. However, the saltiness was not too overpowering - still very flavorful and delicious. I do like my food more so in the saltier side if I had to choose between sweet, bland or salty. The salad was amazing! I had shrimp added. The shrimp themselves were sizable and cooked nicely. The ambiance of the place was very high end feel. Despite that, the prices for all the dishes were pretty reasonable, especially for Disney standards. Overall, I think this place is a wonderful option for any occasion, even romantic dinners (especially with the ambiance factor). I hope to return on my next visit :)

Crafty Crab is one of those spots where you immediately know it's going to be a fun meal. The place…read moreis lively, music's going, people are cracking shells everywhere, and the whole setup just feels very local and laid-back. It's casual, a little messy in the best way, and perfect if you're going in ready to eat. I ordered the large seafood platter with an extra 1/2 lb of sausage, and went with the Boom medium seasoning. First off -- the portions are no joke. The tray came out stacked with seafood, corn, potatoes, and sausage, all coated evenly in sauce. Definitely the kind of meal where you roll up your sleeves and commit. The Boom medium seasoning was the right call. It had a good kick without overpowering the food, which I really appreciated. The spice was there, but you could still taste the seafood and everything stayed flavorful instead of just being hot for no reason. The sausage and potatoes especially soaked up the seasoning perfectly. Service was great the whole time. Chris, our server, was super friendly and checked in just enough without hovering. Jeff, the host, was welcoming from the start and kept things moving smoothly even though the place was busy. Overall, Crafty Crab hit all the marks for me -- big portions, bold flavors, great service, and a fun atmosphere. If you're in the mood for a seafood boil that doesn't hold back and still feels relaxed, this is an easy spot to recommend.

I recently dined at Crafty Crab in Orlando and had the 1/2 lb shrimp and crab leg boil--so good!…read moreThe seafood tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The shrimp were juicy, and the crab legs were full of flavor and easy to crack. This is a chain restaurant usually found in the south, but I believe they have a few up North. The seasoning on the boil was the highlight--rich, buttery, and packed with just the right amount of Cajun spice. Everything was well-coated and super satisfying. You can customize your seasoning with mild, medium or super spicy. I don't like spicy food so I ordered the mild combo which is a mixture of the cajun and buttery garlic seasoning! So delicious! The atmosphere was casual and fun, and the service was friendly and attentive. Star our server was amazing! If you're craving a seafood boil with bold flavor, this is definitely a great spot to check out! Huge parking lot but there are other restaurants nearby and the lot gets packed quickly especially for dinner time. I was disappointed that the bathroom was filthy!

That's a perfect explanation of this restaurant. Service was good, dinner prep seemed a little slow, 25 mins for dish and chicken but maybe it needed the time. Best thing we ate was the mussels and claim app. My grouper with crap was good, no salt on the potatoes. My veg was lightly cooked and could have used more heat. $60 for my entree. The server sold me on this fish dish like it was a special (everyday menu item) Lady had chicken they overcooked. Her veg was cooked properly. So disappointed we cancelled reservations and ordered a bit of take out from them. Burrata with cherry tomatoes doesn't equal heirloom in my opinion. We had two of their desserts and frozen with a sauce sounds right. The blueberry cheesecake was inedible sadly. We wanted to like everything because the staff was nice and it's a nice place. But for the cost not one thing wow-d us. Usually there is one dish or drink that makes your eyes roll back. There was more discussion over why this tastes bad or that tastes dry, overcooked. Sorry for a negative review, just being honest to help other Yelp diners.

I ordered and enjoyed the Rajun Cajun sushi roll. Despite the red coloring, it wasn't too spicy. It had great flavors and offered a unique regional twist on classic sushi rolls. On a previous night at the restaurant, I ordered the Heirloom Tomato and Burrata salad and Sourdough Boule. Both were delicious! I was especially impressed by the color and flavors in the salad.
