This place had such a great atmosphere with views of the lake and live piano music. The staff/my waitress was so kind, approachable, and efficient. we had the house special oysters "lucky duxe" which ere small, sweet, and delicious!! The yellowfin tuna poke was so fresh--the mango and avocado complimented each other well--yum!!! We also really enjoyed the lobster roll w(it had chunks of lobster!) and the grilled fish tacos! I think the only dish I didn't like that much was the lobster bisque bc it had more of a tomato flavor than lobster flavor. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to people!

Great ambiance and food. Service was a little slow but the summer is picking up so to be expected at times. Make sure to make a reservation or you will have a long wait. We made a reservation but it is $25 per person if not canceled within 24 hours if you're unable to make the reservation. One of my friends is gluten-free, and the manager came by and made sure to address her needs and also recommended all of the gluten-free options on the menu. They were very attentive and cautious, which is super important. We had a great time and I definitely will be back again. The food was super yummy.

The score is would have been better if my friend hadn't chip his tooth on the shrimp and grits he ordered. I informed the manager of this mishap which he apologized for. But he was condescending about what happened. The manager stated that my friend already had an issue with his tooth prior to dining here. Now to the good stuff, the atmosphere and ambiance was great. We sat out on the deck which had some great views and it was a beautiful day. Next our server "Ben" was really good and he tended to all of our needs very promptly. He was nice and friendly. The food was great that my wife and I ordered. The menu had a lot of choices but i chose the steak & eggs with b'fast potatoes. My wife had the avocado toast which she said it was really tasty. We also ordered several oysters which were really fresh, it was like they pulled them from the water as we ordered. I personally had 4 fried oysters and my wife and friend had some raw oysters. Let me say that the fried oysters were some of the best I've ever had and I would definitely order these again and a lot more of them. So the food and atmosphere is definitely a 5 star but a 3 for the unprofessional comment made by one of its managers. I still highly recommend this place but get there early because this is a popular restaurant and it gets full on a hurry.

Beware that if you make a reservation, you will have to wait in a very long line (unless it's a slow day) to just be able to check in to your reservation! So get there well before your reservation time. I also want to give a shoutout to the staff for really being extra careful with the allergies that some of us had at the table! The manager even came by and spoke with us about the shrimp allergy specifically at the table. We made a reservation for brunch! I've never eaten here before and was excited to try it since it's one of the more popular spots in Disney Springs. I love the decor. It's giving like a high class yacht club type of vibe. We started off with some sweet cinnamon bread which was delicious then continued into our entrees. My fiancé and I also split a lobster bisque that was TO DIE FOR! My breakfast chorizo tacos were fantastic! I loved that they let me sub my scrambled eggs for over medium ones. I just love a runny yolk on my eggs. We ordered a 21 layer chocolate cake for dessert that said it serves 2, but it actually serves like 6. It's ginormous and chocolatey rich! I did ask for another mimosa during brunch but this time only with only a splash of the passion fruit (with the understanding that the cup wouldn't be filled up the whole way since it would have the same amount of champagne) or if they could make it a double mimosa (with the understanding this would be an additional cost) just because I wanted more champagne taste than juice. The waiter told me sure and then brought me back a mimosa that had even more juice than my last one had. Not sure what that was about, but I would never send a drink back unless there was something terribly wrong so I sucked it up. My fiancé's vodka pineapple wasn't the best either given how much it cost... but those are Disney prices for you! Overall food was really good, our drinks were just ok. I'd want to come back for like a fancy date night :)

Oh my LORDDD! Food: Salmon entree- literally said "HELL YEAH" with the first bite. Huge salmon lover here, and I loved every moment of this entree. Dreaming about it till I get it again. Grouper: Per my husband, "very good, the sauce that it was in was excellent". Truffle fries: I loved- always down for a aïoli dipping sauce, my husband felt like they were okay, which honestly worked out better for me. Large portion. Rolls: Insane, probably the least healthiest item you could consume, but truly a treat. I am not a natural bread lover and found this bread and butter combo excellent. Service & ambiance: We had a reservation and got lucky to be seated outside, right by the water edge. It was so fun and relaxing to watch the fish, boats, and birds. Service was the Disney way- quick, friendly, and efficient.

A friend and I were walking around Disney Springs on Sunday and decided to stop in to get a drink and a light snack. Thank goodness we did! We sat out back at the bar over the water and with the breeze it felt absolutely amazing. We were taken care of by Melina and she was lovely. I had the red sangria and my friend had the brunch bloody Mary. We also shared the duo dips and chips and it was so good. One of the dips was a typical salsa that had a very nice flavor to it, the second dip was a pimento cheese spread that had a little bit of heat to it, that after you swallowed within about 10 seconds you felt the slow burn coming and it was great!

We visited for lunch on a Thursday. We actually showed up 30 minutes before our reservation and they managed to fit us in even though the restaurant seemed packed. They were so kind and accommodating. The service was great! The waiter was there right after we got seated and came back regularly to check on us. We tried the fish tacos, firecracker shrimp, and lobster bisque. They were all delicious! The fish tacos were well seasoned, the shrimp could have used more spice but still had great flavor, and the lobster bisque wasn't overwhelmingly rich. There were so many people there which was a little overstimulating sometimes. Overall, it was a great experience!

Came here for Sunday brunch with a small child. They had a buster chair that our toddler refused to use. The ambiance was wonderful since they had two live musicians who were signing and playing piano. Service was nice and attentive. They did mess up my salad order but they fixed it quickly and took it off the bill. They also had a nice non alcoholic cocktail. I had a salad with shrimp that was pretty good but not special and my husband had grouper sandwich that was good as well. Overall food was pretty decent, but very expensive for what it was. We enjoyed the experience but we do believe it was way overpriced and it's coming from someone who live in Manhattan for 7+ years.

Classy dinner! Removed from the overwhelming noise and kid centric options. This is the place! Boathouse is one of a few restaurants at Disney Springs where you can enjoy a meal in a thematic masterpiece without the overpacked dining rooms and generally less family filled. From the bar having a boat hoist to their being a booth that you literally sit inside of a car, the theming is not lacking... but the higher end menu offerings and longer wait times... the restaurant offers excellence. Everything on the menu is worth the bite! The fresh shucked oysters, the top of the line aged steak offerings.. we opted for the delicious truffle fries, Caesar salad, and filet mignon sliders. Yes, you may just want to load up on multiple appetizers. The bread service here is phenomenal. Immediately delivered to your table, piping hot, and DELICIOUS. Also, they do offer Disney discounts... and a free birthday surprise... for those wearing their birthday buttons.

I was really looking forward to trying the Boathouse as it was one of Disney Spring's most popular restaurants. I loved the ambiance and staff were friendly. The free bread was so soft and butter; it was like an elevated Hawaiian bun. I wasn't super hungry so I split the Dockside Seafood boil and the truffle fries. The Dockside Seafood Boil was a 7/10 for me. The seafood was cooked well but I think it could have used more seasoning. I love a rich and flavorful seafood boil. The truffle fries were a 8/10 for me. Really good truffle flavor and perfect fry cut. I wish they were more crispy in a way - the fry itself almost seemed to be too greasy/absorbed too much oil. Glad I tried it but I don't think it was worth the hype.

Went to the Boathouse for lunch. The sliders melt in your mouth and are so tasty! Also the biggest crab cake I've ever seen and their key lime pie serves two but can definitely serve like four. They also have one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had and probably the best in Disney springs. The open air dinning room along with the dockside bar are a great way to enjoy your lunch or drinks. Our waitress was awesome and very friendly and answered all our questions. Recommend having a reservation, there's always a wait. Even with a reservation there was a short wait for a table.

The Boathouse Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - The Boathouse

I was wondering if there is room to eat dinner at the bar without reservations? Thank you

All the bar seats are first come First serve, no reservations needed and you can order from the menu. There are multiple bars as well

Is any of the menu available to go?

Yes they do have carry out

Can we also order lunch appetizers during brunch?

Yes! If you go during brunch hours, it basically means you have the option to order brunch in addition to the regular menu. You do not need to order a brunch item if you happen to be dining during this window.

Do you serve a turkey dinner a few days before?

    No why would they.

Are there bugs (mosquitoes) when eating waterfront at night?

We were on the water during July and didn't experience any mosquitos!

    Are there any mocktail options?

Yes! There's a full bar so they can make pretty much any mocktail you'd like.

    Is it noisy dining inside?

Yes, especially when it's full. They also have live music some nights which makes it even noisier.

    Does it smell fishy inside?

Thankfully it does not. There is an open breeze outside, ample AC inside and some breeze through the large front and back doors. Not fishy, even by the oyster bars.

Do you use blue crab meat in your crab cakes?

    Yes we do!!

Do they have a Sunday brunch menu?

Yes it’s at the bottom of this link. It was awful!… Read more

Do you have to pay admission for the park to eat at the Boathouse?

No, parking at Disney Springs is free.

How can I get to eat in the boat inside?

Hello my love, download the Disney world, app once you create a log in, you can browse reservations and times that best suits you. That is how you can eat here.… Read more

    Are you booked for Thanksgiving?

We currently only have late night reservations available. For example 10:00, 10:30 or 10:45 pm. We will have open seating at the bar and outside dock area.

Does the boathouse have gluten free buns?

They do have a Gluten and Diary free bun/bread however I would double check with your server when you order to ensure you are getting that option! The servers are very accommodating

What is the best parking garage for the Boathouse?

The Lime Garage is the closest to the Boathouse. https://www.disneysprings.com/disney-springs-map/

How far in advance can you book a reservation?

They go by disney rules which are 180 days (or 180 from arrival if staying on property). During covid rule is at 60 days.

Does the boathouse serve stone crab when it is in season?

    Yes

Do you have any fun non-alcoholic mocktails? Will be coming there in a few weeks and I am pregnant :)

There's not any mocktails on the menu, and the cocktail menu isn't as exciting or extensive as some other Disney eateries. However, I'm sure you can order any cocktail as a virgin. Hope this helps!

How much is the car boat ride?

It’s about $125 but if you eat at the restaurant they give you a coupon that brings the price down to $100 if I remember correctly.

It's casual, a little messy in the best way, and perfect if you're going in ready to eat. I ordered the large seafood platter with an extra 1/2 lb of sausage, and went with the Boom medium seasoning. First off -- the portions are no joke. The tray came out stacked with seafood, corn, potatoes, and sausage, all coated evenly in sauce. Definitely the kind of meal where you roll up your sleeves and commit. The Boom medium seasoning was the right call. It had a good kick without overpowering the food, which I really appreciated. The spice was there, but you could still taste the seafood and everything stayed flavorful instead of just being hot for no reason. The sausage and potatoes especially soaked up the seasoning perfectly. Service was great the whole time. Chris, our server, was super friendly and checked in just enough without hovering. Jeff, the host, was welcoming from the start and kept things moving smoothly even though the place was busy. Overall, Crafty Crab hit all the marks for me -- big portions, bold flavors, great service, and a fun atmosphere. The shrimp were juicy, and the crab legs were full of flavor and easy to crack. This is a chain restaurant usually found in the south, but I believe they have a few up North. The seasoning on the boil was the highlight--rich, buttery, and packed with just the right amount of Cajun spice. Everything was well-coated and super satisfying. You can customize your seasoning with mild, medium or super spicy. I don't like spicy food so I ordered the mild combo which is a mixture of the cajun and buttery garlic seasoning! So delicious! She was super friendly and checked in on us frequently with refills. I wish I could have tried more of the menu, but I went for the Cuban Sandwich and classic Mojito. Out starter was the crab cheese dip which was amazing! The Cuban sandwich was perfect, and a big sandwich at that! I could have easily been full with a half sandwich. Rice and beans side was a delicious accompaniment. Atmosphere was quiet and casual, easy for conversation. I can't wait to come back here again!

A really great vacation meal!!! We were at Disney Springs…read moreshopping when hunger struck us-(probably at the same time as hundreds of other diners!!!) most restaurants were on a 45"+ wait time. We checked out Paddlefish to find it was a 20-30" wait so off we went to the bar to rest our weary feet and enjoy a Margarita on the rocks w/ Black Salt and a Tom Collin's with extra Lemons. My dining companion and I enjoyed them! We waited about 35" and were seared in an upstairs dining room. We were served delicious, warm and fluffy dinner rolls with butter which we thoroughly enjoyed! Then ordered and waited a short time for a beautiful Filet Mignon and my Crispy Shrimp Platter . We both enjoyed our entrees -which were done to perfection. We both took home leftovers for a bedtime snack! Service by Hannah our waitstaff was excellent. We both wished we had saved room for dessert but no way!! A very nice environment for a special meal celebrating our arrival at Disney Epcot for the Flower & Garden Show!!!! ( it was also fabulous-more to come ....)

Paddlefish is a seafood-focused, fine-dining restaurant located on a cool reimagined steamboat at Disney Springs in Lake Buena Vista, with waterfront views from most tables, a rooftop lounge for events (it was closed when we went, and a menu with fresh seafood, steaks, and craft cocktails. Great for people watching, families, work groups. But it's an upscale experience, food is a bit inconsistent with the price, Cuisine: Seafood-centric, sith daily catches, crab, scallops, and also steaks and chops. I had a grouper with puff cream pepper on top and it was amazing : Upscale, with 360-degree views of Lake Buena Vista and Disney Springs, Shrimp pasta was a vernal sneak great deal lots of shrimp Grouper with asparagus (lots of sauce wish they as a bit more on the side and less drenching the food ) but still delicious Visit Captain Handsome at the Bar for a real drink and visual treat. It was the best meal I have had out to eat in a very long time. Every single thing we got was on point and delicious. I have absolutely zero complaints about any of the food or drinks period. Usually I find myself feeling like my meals out are mediocre or average, but no. This was worth every penny. The Brussels sprouts were sooooo tender. The black beans, flavorful. The tres leches tiramisu was unique and something I will not forget any time soon. Even my 15 month old loved everything! The head chef even gave him a high five and made our night extra special. The waiter, Mike from NY was awesome and fun to talk to. He was on top of our service the whole time. He recommended the baked Florida, but I'm a tiramisu girly so I couldn't pass up the experience. They have someone bringing water around constantly. Outside of the restaurant, they have some cute blow up flamingos too. This is a 10/10 and a place I would go to often if I lived closer!

Made a reservation for 7:15pm table which was ready when we arrived even though the bar was hopping and a great atmosphere. Our server took a while to come and greet us and then proceeded to rattle through the menu options, high favorites and take our drink order. Ordered a snack item (crab cakes) to share, the swordfish and grouper topped with crab all my with 2 sides, yucca fries and jerk spiced cauliflower. I know the place was busy but it took almost 1hr to get our crab cakes. The server was a little frantic at times as he had several tables to tend to. Once they did arrive we found them to be tasty with a little kick and not a lot of filler. Definitely something I would order again. The grouper dish looked amazing and my colleague thoroughly enjoyed it. As for the swordfish which was blackened and then served in brown butter was okay. A 16oz piece was way too much and even though it was served with brown butter and a crust topping I was not a real fan. There was no real flavor to the dish and I even found the fish to be somewhat dry at times. Shame for the server being too busy to give us the attention you expect from an upscale restaurant where you are paying over $50 for an entree. But the atmosphere and quality of the food was good in general. Therefore the 4 stars.

Very cozy feeling as you walk in, with beautiful live edge wood tabletops. We started with their homemade biscuits; each one was twice the size of a regular biscuit. The taste was incredible, and their gravy and jelly made it even better. The chicken and waffles were crispy and full of flavor. Their French toast was also fantastic if you're looking for a large portion. I didn't see anyone disappointed with their meals. Highly recommended.

The pickles were delicious. The dips for the hush puppies were better than the pups themselves. The entrees were huge and tasty. Mains and sides were flavorful and the staff was flexible about making adjustments. Food came out at a good pace even as the restaurant got more crowded. It's a large open space, which means it can get loud, but not overly so. Our waiter referred to all the women as "mama", saying "that's how they do it in the south".
