Always wanted to eat here but never willing to wait for a table. Made a reservation to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary. Checked in about a half hour early and we were texted that our table was ready, exactly as scheduled. Server was with us quickly and took both our drink and dinner orders. Drinks were quickly delivered and or meals followed shortly thereafter. Our meals were excellent. The server was very engaging and although very busy, she took time to engage us in conversation and to wish us a Happy Anniversary. After our meal, we declined the dessert menu but the server asked us to wait as she had a present for us. A very cute cupcake was then delivered. The staff/my waitress was so kind, approachable, and efficient. we had the house special oysters "lucky duxe" which ere small, sweet, and delicious!! The yellowfin tuna poke was so fresh--the mango and avocado complimented each other well--yum!!! We also really enjoyed the lobster roll w(it had chunks of lobster!) and the grilled fish tacos! Great ambiance and food. Service was a little slow but the summer is picking up so to be expected at times. Make sure to make a reservation or you will have a long wait. We made a reservation but it is $25 per person if not canceled within 24 hours if you're unable to make the reservation. One of my friends is gluten-free, and the manager came by and made sure to address her needs and also recommended all of the gluten-free options on the menu. The score is would have been better if my friend hadn't chip his tooth on the shrimp and grits he ordered. I informed the manager of this mishap which he apologized for. But he was condescending about what happened. The manager stated that my friend already had an issue with his tooth prior to dining here. Now to the good stuff, the atmosphere and ambiance was great. We sat out on the deck which had some great views and it was a beautiful day. Next our server "Ben" was really good and he tended to all of our needs very promptly. He was nice and friendly. The food was great that my wife and I ordered. The menu had a lot of choices but i chose the steak & eggs with b'fast potatoes. My wife had the avocado toast which she said it was really tasty. We also ordered several oysters which were really fresh, it was like they pulled them from the water as we ordered. I personally had 4 fried oysters and my wife and friend had some raw oysters. Let me say that the fried oysters were some of the best I've ever had and I would definitely order these again and a lot more of them. So the food and atmosphere is definitely a 5 star but a 3 for the unprofessional comment made by one of its managers. Beware that if you make a reservation, you will have to wait in a very long line (unless it's a slow day) to just be able to check in to your reservation! So get there well before your reservation time. I also want to give a shoutout to the staff for really being extra careful with the allergies that some of us had at the table! I've never eaten here before and was excited to try it since it's one of the more popular spots in Disney Springs. I love the decor. It's giving like a high class yacht club type of vibe. We started off with some sweet cinnamon bread which was delicious then continued into our entrees. My fiancé and I also split a lobster bisque that was TO DIE FOR! My breakfast chorizo tacos were fantastic! I loved that they let me sub my scrambled eggs for over medium ones. I just love a runny yolk on my eggs. We ordered a 21 layer chocolate cake for dessert that said it serves 2, but it actually serves like 6. It's ginormous and chocolatey rich! I did ask for another mimosa during brunch but this time only with only a splash of the passion fruit (with the understanding that the cup wouldn't be filled up the whole way since it would have the same amount of champagne) or if they could make it a double mimosa (with the understanding this would be an additional cost) just because I wanted more champagne taste than juice. The waiter told me sure and then brought me back a mimosa that had even more juice than my last one had. Not sure what that was about, but I would never send a drink back unless there was something terribly wrong so I sucked it up. Boathouse is quickly becoming a favorite for me, as the go-to for special occasions. They are a place where you will spend over $100 for two people but the quality is worth it. I call it "upscale but still reasonable for the experience". The theme of the restaurant is spot on if you want to have a fine dining/yacht experience. Grouper: Per my husband, "very good, the sauce that it was in was excellent". Truffle fries: I loved- always down for a aïoli dipping sauce, my husband felt like they were okay, which honestly worked out better for me. Large portion. We sat out back at the bar over the water and with the breeze it felt absolutely amazing. We were taken care of by Melina and she was lovely. I had the red sangria and my friend had the brunch bloody Mary. We also shared the duo dips and chips and it was so good. This restaurantis popular, so we made reservations online during one of their few open slots. We were unable to make it on time and the front desk was able to change our reservation to a more desirable time without any problem. My husband and I tried the oysters and ribeye. The steak was overcooked and on the bland side. My children liked their salmon and fries which came out on in a cool vintage car container. Service seemed a little overwhelmed but friendly. The fish tacos were well seasoned, the shrimp could have used more spice but still had great flavor, and the lobster bisque wasn't overwhelmingly rich. Came here for Sunday brunch with a small child. They had a buster chair that our toddler refused to use. The ambiance was wonderful since they had two live musicians who were signing and playing piano. Service was nice and attentive. They did mess up my salad order but they fixed it quickly and took it off the bill. They also had a nice non alcoholic cocktail. I had a salad with shrimp that was pretty good but not special and my husband had grouper sandwich that was good as well. Overall food was pretty decent, but very expensive for what it was. The free bread was so soft and butter; it was like an elevated Hawaiian bun. I wasn't super hungry so I split the Dockside Seafood boil and the truffle fries. The Dockside Seafood Boil was a 7/10 for me. The seafood was cooked well but I think it could have used more seasoning. I love a rich and flavorful seafood boil. The truffle fries were a 8/10 for me. Really good truffle flavor and perfect fry cut. I wish they were more crispy in a way - the fry itself almost seemed to be too greasy/absorbed too much oil. Went to the Boathouse for lunch. The sliders melt in your mouth and are so tasty! Also the biggest crab cake I've ever seen and their key lime pie serves two but can definitely serve like four. They also have one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had and probably the best in Disney springs. The open air dinning room along with the dockside bar are a great way to enjoy your lunch or drinks. Our waitress was awesome and very friendly and answered all our questions. I can't here with my in-laws and family, and we had a really good time enjoying the restaurant! Although we had a reservation for 1 o'clock, we still ended up waiting additional time on a Wednesday afternoon, so be prepared to wait a little bit longer! My salmon was very tasty - and they were able to seat us on the boat per my mother in law's request!! I ordered the roasted carrots (delicious!!! 5/5, and so happy I had leftovers for tomorrows dinner) and salmon salad (4/5 - salmon was soft, and melted in my mouth!) When you add great food, great service and a great location you get THE BOAT HOUSE.... we came here during our honeymoon and had been at Disney for four days. I loved MOST of the decorations of the place. They had a Chriscraft boat that is also a table. However, head into the gift shop and there is a compass on the floor where the tiles are clearly not facing north. You can even pull up the compass to check. For being located in Disney, this lack of attention to detail surprises me and disappoints me. In the bright side, we loved our server Marcus! He was awesome. Had plenty of party tricks and jokes, elevating our time from dinner to an experience. First of all bread is AMAZING!! I think we had 4 plates between us. I have eaten here a few times ... mostly at the incredibly packed bar overlooking the water in the back. This bar is loaded all the time, so expect to be elbow to elbow with other diners ... many of whom are drunk and loud. The lady sitting 8 inches next to me was coughing up a lung the while time. Almost as gross as when a seagull perched on the rafter above the bar dropped a deuce on the bar a foot or two away from our plate. I read that this restaurant has the highest number of 'covers' (tables) served in the entire United States. I believe it as there is never a time it doesn't have a line ... and inside is huge. It's crowded chaos. I cannot understand why this place is so popular. The food is good ... but not incredible ... the inside feels like a nautical cafeteria. So crowded and not intimate at all. Beyond that, it's so expensive that you practically need to mortgage your dinner. $24 cheeseburger ... $50 - $60 fish ... etc. I used to come here because the burgers were probably the best on Disney property. They were made from a special blend of beef, owned by the restaurant. Over the last few years, I am not sure if the restaurant was bought by VC or something ... but the food is now not as good. The last two times, the incredibly greasy burger didn't agree with me and I was running to find a bathroom minutes after leaving the restaurant. Maybe it's all the grease. Kind of inconvenient. I probably will come back in a few years because I do like to sit on the lake and look at the water and this has the best water views in Springs. Everyone there seems happy ... not sure if the people have never been to a real seafood restaurant before, or, if it's just a tradition. Either way, if you have a ton of cash to spend and don't mind better than average seafood ... or wating up to 30 minutes - an hour, you could do worse in Disney Springs. read more

Well, this was a new one, and it's going to become one of our constants. Let's start with those freakin rolls. Lord heavens. They are truly heaven. Coated in the best glaze of honey ever. Eat I'm quick so they bring more. Then the crab cake... it looked heavenly in yelp photos but I struggle with a $30something appetizer for lunch. The waitress said a half portion was available. We did that and I'm so glad we did. Best crab cake I've ever had. My husband had the shrimp boil. He loved that it wasn't full of some of the "weirder" seafoods like crawfish or something requiring a lot of effort like crab legs. He felt it was filling and delicious. I got the Yacht Club Club. It was good for a lunch. The sandwich was actually so big that I ended up taking it apart and eating it with a fork and knife. The cucumbers on there were a great added touch! We will definitely be back on our next trip. The restaurant has an upscale feel, and there are definitely fancy things on the menu, but we got out of there and it was our cheapest sit down Disney meal. And our favorite. read more

It has been forever since being in Downtown Disney, okay, Disney Springs. Enough to where everything doesn't look familiar, only bits and pieces coming together and for some reason I thought I was in the Boathouse long ago but I remembered it being a paddle wheel boat. Yes, I know there is the Paddlefish here, but I'm still confused. It is amazing how imperfect memories are, especially when there is significant change. So, coming here I was surprised by the building it was in, otherwise, read on. The check in put us in the queue of a text based system. That worked out well and the wait wasn't long. We were seated right next to the live entertainment. Ugh... after not seeing some people for a very long time this was time to talk and not be entertained, but that worked out too. The entertainment did not stop us from talking or being heard. The food was good, a GRILLED GROUPER SANDWICH - with a side ceasar instead of fries, for me. Everyone else at the table was happy too. Though it may not be the false memory of a boat I remembered, the festive environment was a fun place to reconnect and have a great meal. Though I remember open parking lots instead of parking garages the free parking is still a welcome bonus and though things can seem like they are "all the way on the other side" of Disney Springs it really doesn't take too long to walk anywhere here. read more

There is outdoor seating which is a great option for a more casual meal. You can even be seated down the docks. The food was excellent and service was top notch. My wife ordered the grouper tacos and I ordered a NY strip. We also tried their famous Filet mignon sliders which were excellent. It cost around $100 for both of us without getting drinks or a desert. The quality of food and atmosphere makes it an excellent spot for a nice meal. I am sad to say that our experience at The Boathouse was an extreme let down. I am solely giving them three stars for their insanely good complimentary bread, and our amazing waitor, Neal. He was the star of the show. A truly special guy! We have been to literally thousands of restaurants, hundreds of fine dining establishments, and he provided michelin-star quality service. Even multiple other team members were very helpful. Neal was helpful, attentive, and very kind. He knew the menu very well. Food: very underwhelming. I am sad to say that everything tastes like what you would expect form a sysco-supplied restaurant. The lobster bisque was the same kind that every other cruddy Florida seafood place serves. The grouper dish was very "meh." The quality was just not there. The filet sliders were incredibly dry. The carpaccio was quite bland. Do not even order the lobster roll. It looked fantastic, with large chunks of lobster, but it was also a huge disappointment. Needless to say, their food does not match their reviews. Maybe this place has gone downhill. Not too sure. The seating layout was way too crammed. Where our table was situated was crammed against a wall and right next to the ordering system. No table should have been squeezed right there. I realized after I sat down at the interior bar that I could have sat at the bar on the water, good to know for next time! I ordered the Caesar salad, jumbo lump crab cake, firecracker shrimp and the Tito's strawberry fields for my cocktail. The bartenders were super friendly and helped me right away. My cocktail was NOT sweet at all, tasted like water with lemon, which I enjoy but not when I'm expecting a delicious tasty cocktail. I did give it a swirl with my straw and that made it a little more flavorful. My Caesar salad was decent, the dressing was a little more watery then I prefer and I could have used a few more croutons but overall I liked it. The crab cake was HUGE! They were not lying when they said jumbo and I probably could have skipped the shrimp because it was way too much food. The crab cake tasted amazing! It was sooooo buttery and packed with lump crab, which I def expected for $34.00! I think it is in my top three of all time crab cakes I've had. It came with cole slaw which was very creamy how I like but it had nooooo flavor. I highly recommend making reservations because they do get very busy given their prime location and delicious food. We were seated a few minutes after checking in. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but we chose first available which ended up being inside. We decided to share the filet mignon sliders (butter on the side) as an appetizer. For my entree, I chose the wedge with an herb vinaigrette dressing. While we waited for our food, our server brought us water and (free) bread. This bread was incredible. Taste wise, I'd compare it to be similar to Texas Roadhouse rolls. The filet mignon sliders were amazing and the wedge salad was crisp & fresh. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a nautical theme. Service was great and friendly! Disney Springs has a free parking garage available, so plan accordingly that there may be a slight walk or line through security (to get into Disney Springs). 5/14/25 Zach and I made a reservation for the BoatHouse via the Disneyapp for 8:50PM. We got there early on the possibility that we could be seated sooner, but the host said no. We checked in and she said a text would be sent to my phone once our table was ready. Zach and I wandered across until 8:40PM when the restaurant texted me that our table was ready. Our waitress was very friendly and the manager personally took our order since I had listed in the app that I had a pistachio allergy. This is what we got: - 1/2 dozen oysters: 2 Lucky dux, 1 Mom shell, 1 Shipwreck, 1 Village Bay, 1 Queens cup - Maine style lobster roll (his) - Shrimp and andouille mac and cheese (mine) Our view was very nice and we weren't cold at all. The bread we got was warmed and fluffy. The oysters were very fresh and delicious. The lobster roll was packed with lobster! Chips tasted a little stale, but the star of the show was clearly the roll. The mac and cheese was really good too. There was so much I couldn't finish the plate. The first time we came here we didn't get service the entire time (maybe 30 minutes and just left) A year later we came back. I have to say the views and the restaurant itself and the food were great. The service is still very slow and was still very impersonal to us. The restaurant was also hot and uncomfortable to us. If they had more friendly service and just all around more responsive I do believe this could be a great restaurant. We tried the burger and the fish which we both enjoyed. read more
