I went in looking for a specific chocolate brown gel color from a particular brand but they didn't have that specific brand/color in stock at the moment but Paola found a perfect color match alternative from their selection. I came in for a gel pedicure, but unfortunately the gel started coming off the very next day. I reached out right away and was told it could be fixed, which I appreciated. When I returned, only the affected nail(s) were repaired instead of redoing the full pedicure. I was then given just 20% off the original $50 service, meaning I still paid $40 for a partial fix rather than the full service I initially received. The discount had to be approved by a manager, which the nail techs had to call for while I was there, despite the salon previously messaging me on Instagram saying they would fix my nails. There was no clear communication beforehand that I would still be charged. Considering the gel began lifting in less than 1 hour, I expected the issue to be corrected at no cost. While the staff was polite, the way this situation was handled felt disappointing and did not reflect standing behind the quality of their work. What was most disappointing was the lack of transparency, when I was told it would be "fixed," it wasn't made clear there would be an additional charge (the full service again!) While the staff was polite, this experience did not reflect a business standing behind its work, especially as a returning client. Charging a percentage of a full service that was not redone felt inappropriate. Unfortunately, I'll be looking for a new salon. read more

They work mostly by appointment since they are super busy, which doesn't take away from the wonderful services they offer. They speak English and Spanish. This was my first time at this salon and unfortunately, it will also be my last. I had a Brazilian wax scheduled for 10:30 AM and arrived early at 10:26 to check in. I was told my waxer would be with me shortly, but I ended up waiting 30 minutes before being taken to the back. Once I was finally brought in, the waxer was on a phone call and told me she'd be back in five minutes--without giving any instructions. Luckily, I've had Brazilians done before, so I knew what to expect. During the wax, she again answered a phone call, which felt very unprofessional and made the experience uncomfortable. While she was polite and did apologize, I still felt dismissed and like her focus was more on other clients than the service she was providing me. Not the level of care or professionalism I expected. I really don't like leaving bad reviews, and everyone at the salon was kind, which makes this even harder to write. I went in just for a gel removal and expected a quick, simple process, but they didn't soak the gel off they went straight to filing with an electric tool. The file would burn my nail here and there and I would move my hand and let her know it burned, she seemed to understand and would continue filing a little more gently, but afterward, my nails felt really weak, and you could see lines and ridges left from the tool. The tech over-filed them so much that some of my naturally curved nails are almost flat. It's been a little over two weeks, and they still feel weak and aren't growing the way they used to. Yikes! The service here is no good. The nail techs and front receptionists are super arrogant and unhelpful. I live within walking distance and I've walked in twice to see if they had time for a simple manicure. Both times - no one looked in my direction, I had to basically flag them down and the approach was super dismissive "we don't do walk-ins" someone said under their breath while they kept working on a clients nails and they didn't look in my direction when they were talking. She just carried on. The second time, they had a receptionist and I walked in to see if she could help me schedule an appointment. I politely greeted her and asked if she could help me make an appointment. She immediately responded "no. I can't do that. You gotta do it online." I waited for her to say something else or provide me guidance on where or something. She just stared at me blankly. And after awkward silence, I walked away. The third time I DID make an appointment for me and my mom online. I had confirmation on my phone. We walked into the appointment and I was told that my appointment was 2 hours earlier and that I'd missed it. I said "what?" And showed them my confirmation for 2:30 pm." They dismissively said "well in our book it says it was at 12:30" I pushed back to see if they could accommodate because this was obviously an error on their part or their system or something - to see if they'd offer me an alternate time or assistance with rescheduling or SOMETHING. They didn't. They just kept repeating that my confirmation for their system was wrong and that their handwritten book was right. read more

They cater to their own community which is fine, but don't treat others badly just to support your own. The nail tech was plain BAD and inexperienced. I walked out after three hours for an ombré acrylic full set with my cuticles burning and in pain. I expressed all of this and instead of acknowledging me and taking any ounce accountability, they stood firm on this mess of a service, turned against me, blamed me, tried to charge me $85 and told me not to come back. The location is beautifully designed and doesn't smell like acetone like a lot of other nail salons do. Mary, the lady who did my lashes and brows was an absolute sweetheart and was fun to talk to. As for the actual results... again, just amazing. I've had my lashes lifted and tinted once before and they were nowhere near as good as this time. I scheduled mani/pedi appts for 3 people (my bday treat for them). The day of our appt, the receptionist called to confirm, I said "Yes we'll be there." She claimed she got a call from someone (without asking their name & date of appt) requested to cancelled their 1pm appt ASSUMING it was me. My nails looked like they were sanded down, then a coat of shiny clear nail polish was slapped on my sanded down nails. I made an appointment on their website and Sandra was waiting for me when I got there! She was friendly, made me feel comfortable and was professional in her work! I see a lot of reviews on here that deduct stars because of the prices, but what they don't tell you is that it is WORTH it. I've been here three times and have walked out more than happy each time. The first time I got a regular mani with Haziel and it was absolutely beautiful. These last two times I've gotten a full set/fill with reg/gel polish by Paola & pedicures with regular polish by Jazmin and, again, absolutely stunning results. I got my nails done today and I was charged $10 to have my nails cut and $3 for a custom shape. I have been wearing this shape for 2 year. I've never been charge. When I inquired as to why I was informed AFTER service was rendered and not informed of the policy, I was told it's always been that way. This is utterly made up! I've had long wait times and other questionable encounters with customer ( one time another customer took the color wheel out of my hand, typic rude entitled behavior of the clientele of this shop); but today took the cake!
