She said yes, recommending a laser treatment for only $50. The price seemed a good deal, so I went ahead. Sadly, it had no effect. Two weeks later, I called back. The owner asked me to come in for a second treatment. This time, there was no prep -- no asking, no cleansing, and no discussion of potential side effects. Immediately after, I had a dark purple bruise on my face. She quickly used another type of laser as a form of "makeup" to cover it. I was clearly upset, but she assured me the bruise would go away in three days. It's now been a month. The purple mark turned brown, and it's still very visible. On my last visit (5/14), she admitted she didn't know what happened and told me to see a dermatologist--but also said she wouldn't cover any of the costs. Most concerning: she confirmed there's no machine log to track the settings or energy of the laser used. The machines are over 20 years old, and everything was handwritten, with no way to verify what was done. Yes, her prices are low -- but for a reason. Please be cautious and aware of the risks before proceeding.

I've since come in for a couple of different treatments and am always blown away by both the commitment to excellence and the customer service. (It's the little extras like seeing if you'd like a water and ALWAYS calling to follow up with you afterwards that go a long way in my book). Timea might be the kindest person I've ever met.
