I was in search of a salon that does russian manicures because I heard they could help with my problem cuticles. I was so impressed with just one visit, and after 3 visits, my nails looked like this! All the girls are skilled and detail oriented. This structured manicure was done by Alejandra. She definitely knows her craft and has basically worked miracles on my ragged cuticles. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She encourages me to treat my nails and hands as precious when she sees I have picked at my cuticles lol.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love my nails again! Her prices are very reasonable, comparatively speaking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is worth paying the deposit to be honored the appointment time you made, they make every effort to stay on time without feeling rushed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The salon is cute and clean, and I love that it is Latina owned. Definitely give them a call to make an appointment!

Where to begin..I came in with NUBS and cuticles that were bleeding because I was a nail biter. I had been traumatized by past nail salons where they just drill through your fingers! I was scared and skeptical that they would be able to help me. To say that my nail journey has been WAY MORE than I ever expected is an understatement! Their attention to detail, their attention to service is incredible! They take pride in their work and I appreciate their hard work on getting my nails looking healthy!!! I came on Thanksgiving. I was shocked but thankful it was open, because my hands were in desperate need of care! I live in West Covina and drove to Whittier bc it's the closest that offers Russian manicures. I set the appointment up with a $25 deposit. I showed up and extremely impressed with how clean it was and how cleaned it smelled! Yeraldin let me know that it would take time to get my hands to look well (that's how bad my cuticles were). She got to work and was very considerate asking if I was in any pain. Even though she said it would be a process she was wrong bc she worked a MIRACLE on my hands!! They look beautiful. And it's the first time EVER that I've gotten a manicure I'm 100% satisfied with and no pain. I was also impressed that she has done her research on how to properly care for hands and feet which shows in her work. I will definitely be going back!

My nails were done 3 weeks ago and they are still looking fabulous. I'll be seeing Yeraldin this week.

Worth the drive! I'm from OC and drove here to get my manicure done. The place was really clean and loved how my nails looked afterwards. I paid $40 in total (including deposit) for my Russian manicure. You'll need to send a deposit. I sent $25 for my deposit. Overall, I'll definitely come back.

I found Alejandra while searching for Russian Manicures on Google. The reviews were exceptional and i concur! There are not many places that offer Russian mani/pedi unless you want to drive to Glendale or further! I live close to DT Long Beach so i decided to give them a try and have been returning each month since December 2023. Alejandra's place is immaculate when it comes to cleanliness. All of the technicians are kind, welcoming and highly trained. I always see Jeraldine who is better than my doctor at removing ingrown nails! They offer Gel, Gelx and acrylic. I always get the Russian Gel Mani and Luxurious Pedi. $100 total and worth every penny along with the drive from LB. Finally, this salon is Latina owned and operated, such a nice change from what has become the norm among nail salons!

It was my first time getting a Russian Pedicure and my experience was amazing! Such great attention to detail and very crisp lines and not a bad price point either for the basic at $45 including gel polish. I never once felt rushed during my appt. The previous nail technician I saw completely botched my nails, drilling them too much and leaving sensitive uneven spots of damage on my nails. My tech (wish I could remember her name) was amazing at checking in with me and my pain level as she worked and was very gentle during the entire service! The salon was beautifully kept and very relaxing. Loved this spot and will be returning

I was so excited to try this nail salon and had high hopes but as soon as I walked in a was greeted with an attitude by one person who told me I hadn't stated I had acrylic overlay which I clearly did when booking my appointment and then got to hear how the owner also had a really strong and unwelcoming attitude I felt really uncomfortable here the only one that felt welcoming was the daughter Alejandra. Found this place via a google search and was intrigued when it mentioned it's a latina run business. I walked in and immediately was greeted by the owner, Alejandra. I was early, but they took me in right away. I sat in their comfy chairs and enjoyed getting my first, ever pedicure by the owner's daughter. She was sweet and gentle. This is my first time getting my pedicure at Alejandra Dream Nails, and let me tell you. I had the best experience ever, the minute I got there everyone was very polite. This is not the typical asian salon their services is very different, they take their time, every minute Anita kept asking me if everything is ok, very attention to detail on the work they do. & for the first time I can say I'm beyond satisfied with my pedicure. Best Gel X!!!!!! I've tried many places who offer Gel X services, and my nails always lift or fall off after 3-4 weeks. I walked in to this nail shop on December of 2021. Silvia took care of me and I loved her work. She did an amazing job prepping my nails for a new set. I received a lot of compliments on my nails and color. I went back to Silvia 6 weeks later, and my nails were still on. No lifting! I dislike when they start getting stuck in my hair. I am not careful with my nails when I do house work, and I type a lot. So, I was amazed they were still on and weren't moving after 6 weeks. I went back to Silvia and she carefully soaked them off and took her time prepping my nails for a new set. I LOVE my new set. So, I can honestly say these sets have been the best sets I've paid for in the past 4 years. This salon is clean, the techs are welcoming and nice, they show they care about their customers by the work they do. They take their time on you, and give you great service. I also love that this place is owned and ran by Latin women. I 100% recommend this salon, especially Silvia. read more

Super clean and simple gel manicure on my natural nails. They did an amazing job on my cuticles. The salon was decorated really cute and modern and was extremely clean. They wipe down EVERYTHING in between clients even down to the chairs. Can't wait to come back for a pedicure as well! read more

Best nail service I've ever received. Rosario gave me an amazing pedicure. Not a cuticle or cut in sight! She really took her time. I was looking for a very natural look for my nails and Alejandra out did herself! I got an acrylic overlay and the shape is exactly what I was looking for. The salon is also very cute! Best place ever to get a pedi! They really get rid of all the callus on your feet and don't just do a light little scrub with a pumice they really make your feet baby soft. It is pricey here but 100% worth it, you get your money worth for sure here. I've had three different nail techs do my pedis and all of them did amazing! read more

I picked up the salon because my mother-in-law only speaks broken English. Even though I'm white, they treated me with a lot of respect and my mother-in-law as well. When we walked in, it was extremely busy and their appointments ahead of us I could tell the owner was busy and she asked us to please wait, but she would get to us. She did just that my mother-in-law was Delighted with her nails! It was the first time going to a nail salon. My manicure lasted over four weeks with no chipping or cracking. That goes to speak to the quality of work they do. I will definitely come here again. read more

I visited Alejandra Dream Nails a little over two weeks ago. My nails still looks great! The salon was very clean and the staff was very helpful and answered all of my questions about Russian manis and pedis, as this was my first time having this kind of service. They only use gel polish, which I wasn't crazy about initially, but the polish on my fingers and toes has lasted this long with no extra care on my part, which I'm really happy with. I'm looking forward to going back next week! read more

Where do I start! From the moment I walked into the salon I could tell this was gonna be good. The salon is clean, welcoming, and professional. I am a manicure kinda person. Not one to get lengthy nails but seeing the work that the stylist do gave me a change of heart. I asked for a full set sculpted nails and I am happy I did. Excellent service! My friend and I walked in and got pedicures. Saturday afternoon and they're busy, we got lucky (definitely will schedule an appointment next time). The salon is very clean. I have never been so satisfied with a salon experience like I was here! I called ahead for a walk-in gel x appointment and they were able to accommodate me right away. They were so welcoming and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. It seriously felt like I was at the doctor's office since it was so clean and they used fresh tool kits for everything. You can tell they love what they do and keep things organized! The cherry on top was supporting a Latina-owned business, getting to speak in Spanish, and listening to all my favorite Latin music! I ended up getting my nails done by this guy and he seemed new but I payed no attention, until he finished the application of the acrylic and it just seemed way far out of the ordinary compared to what I've always seen. I've NEVER been the type to speak up about things but this set was just unbearable to hold back I spoke up more then ten times about the shape the color the flower and the left over acrylic under my nails. By the end of it we were both a bit frustrated icl lol. Out of the blue my grandma talked me into getting my toes done (I love how they come out I always get compliments) and the lady doing my toes asked to see my nails which is veryy normal I love when they take their time peaking at my set or while I get them done I find it so cute. she took a peak and said oh there cool huh that's when I knew I couldn't pay full price for my set but again I was too scared until another lady saw me looking at them too much and she came over asking to see my nails oh my days the face she made at them was beyondd. She immediately told my grandma to go to the side so she could fix them. Walking out the store my grandma told me I was definitely in the right when I said that my nails didn't look good compared to how they ended up coming out. We practically spent the whole day there at the salon but it was so worth it. The lady's there are so so sweet you'd definitely have to do something in order for them to act the way they're being described. The nail tech also didn't really understand English so it took her awhile to take off the product so I had to dip my foot inside so I wouldn't burn the rest of my toes.

Khay never says no and always has top quality of the most random stones, charms, or whatever comes to mind. The shop is clean, cozy, and has everything you need for a beauty reset. my friend and i came here last minute for nail services and this was the best rated salon in the…read morearea. we called ahead and they let us know they were available for us to walk in/had time today. i got a builder gel fill with white french tip and polka dot design. my nail tech was Julie, she was so sweet and made sure my nails were exactly done the way i wanted :) i would definitely come back if i was in the area again my friend got a simple mani/pedi, he said he loved his service and felt so pampered! we had a great time, salon was busy but clean.

I want a great set, made by a great tech. All that said? I came to Okayy Nails & Christina absolutely HOOKED IT UP. I have been getting sets regularly over the last two or three years and I will never go anywhere else. I have brought my teenagers for gel manicures and we have a blast. Christina's vibe is very chill but she's 100% skilled AF. We love a queen who knows her worth AND has her feet well planted on Earth.

Giving you an eyebrow slit without consent trying to make fun of her client. I use to love this place until a new tech came in recently. Kelly is the owner and very good at her job. She does nice eyebrows and nails. The night I went in to get my eyebrows done she was out. The new tech also does eyebrows. I was hesitant but I gave her a try. She didn't trim my eyebrows and she didn't give me a shape. I felt like there wasn't a difference. I decided to go in the next day to politely ask if I can have my eyebrows a bit thinner I paid for another eyebrow job. Kelly took offense and so did her tech. I could see Kelly was trying to comfort her new tech by telling her I liked my eyebrows thin. The same day the new tech gave me a pedicure. She used the body scrub on my legs said it was free and rubbed my legs for so long it felt while she was basically trying to rub my skin off ..... it hurt so bad I never felt that. My legs were in pain and red for days. She also managed to give me a toe infection that didn't go away for two weeks. I've never had this happen until this incident and I don't know if she used dirt instruments on me. The next month I didn't mention this BUT I did go in for an eyebrow job from Kelly. She nearly left me with no eyebrows and she added her own touch she left me with a eyebrow slit which is a common practice within this industry for this culture to make fun possibly call me a lesbian and to mark a "bad" client notifying their workers amongst other nail spots you are a difficult or bad customer. She gave me an unauthorized slit which is called ghosting. The new tech was sent up and actually laughed. I understand this was an inside joke. During the session Kelly was very cold with me when she is usually very upbeat and nice. I really hate that Kelly took this personal and made a joke of me. The technician was very lazy with her eyebrows in my experience and evil if I would say. Problematic personality. Kelly you are wrong for how you handle your issues. She takes her time, cleans and shapes and also goes along with the nail designs I take to her. With that being said, Annie is a hot commodity so make sure to call in and book her in advance! As far as the shop goes, It is a no frills mom and pop's and I personally like that they do not have spa chairs (as those chairs can be unsanitary.)

Every time I leave, my nails look even better than the time before. Joe pays such close attention to detail, and I really love and respect that. Most of the inspo pictures I bring in are extra-long sets, but I personally get medium length. If he sees that a design won't translate well onto a shorter nail (which is totally normal since there's less room), he'll tell me upfront and we adjust it. And honestly? The adjusted design usually turns out even better than the original picture. Their prices are also more than fair -- especially compared to in-home nail techs charging $120+ for simple sets. My last refill with full designs on every nail was only $85, and every single nail had a different technique. My advice: book an appointment, and if you know your design will be detailed or time-consuming, mention that when booking. That way he can set aside enough time for you, especially if you're coming during midday hours. Best nails.
