    Turkish 2 2 2 Breakfast
    Julie M.

Hubby and I were looking for a place we could grab a quick late lunch bite while we were visiting Ft. Lauderdale, and thought a diner would fit the bill. I happened to find a listing for Myra Harbor Café and saw that they offered Greek food, which I love, and they had pretty good reviews. Hubby was in the mood for breakfast food, and they happened to offer it all day, so we went for it. The restaurant is cozy and open, with a large bar/counter on one side of the room with a "nautical" theme, even sporting a giant stuffed mahimahi on the wall. As we looked over the menu, we noticed some of the prices seemed a little high, like the Turkish 2 2 2 Breakfast at $12.95, but we were there and were getting "hangry" so we decided to go ahead and order. Hubby ordered the 2 2 2 Breakfast, which was two large pancakes, two eggs, any style, and two sausage or bacon strips. The sausage was not your usual, teeny breakfast stuff; this was very large, nicely seasoned fresh sausage links. The pancakes were also large and perfectly cooked. They must have been made from scratch, as they sure didn't taste like a box mix. Eggs were large and cooked to order as requested. Hubby was very happy with his meal. I ordered the Greek Shrimp Salad; I was hopeful I would get a decently prepared salad, but you never know. I judge a restaurant's food quality based on the care they give to making their salads; if they bring me a wilted, half brown bowl of lertuce leaves, then I know they are just phoning it in. My Greek Salad came with perectly grilled salad shrimp, the smaller ones, but they were so well prepared with a sprinkling of Greek herbs that I didn't care they were small, and the smaller shrimp were actually easier to eat. The lettuce was crisp ad green, and the cucumber, tomato, and feta were all uniformly cut. The smattering of Kalamata olives were little flavor bombs that drove the Greek flavor of this salad home. Did I forget to tell you about the salad dressing? It came in a little glass salad pitcher with a cute metal wine stopper. The dressing was obviously homemade, with a slight sweetness to it. The pita was soft and warm. And might have even been homemade it tasted That Good. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, making doubly sure that we were comfortable and encouraged us to take our time and not rush. The chef obviously took pride in how he prepared the dishes in his kitchen; I like to say "You can taste the love in the food" and we certainly did! Highly recommend this place.

Wow this place was such a warm welcome after arriving at the airport early and hungry. They have Turkish coffee, Turkish sausage and breakfast platters, as well as omelettes and pancakes. Oh and homemade bread! We came in 14 deep and had lots of luggage, and they were so helpful and welcoming. Great food and service!

The Turkish Breakfast Platter was delicious! Chrissy was a great waitress, & my dogs loved the outdoor seating. Tasted exactly like being back in Turkey! The simit tasted right, but looking like an American bagel today.

This is a cute lil Greek cafe in a lil plaza that does not have a great look but sometimes the best places are those lil holes in the wall, right? This may sound silly but my favorite part was the freshly squeezed OJ. That is so hard to find in USA and one of my favorite drinks so I was super happy when she asked me if I wanted freshly squeezed. I was like "of course girl! Who wouldn't?!" Haha Anyway, going back to my review. The omelets were huge. I would definitely order one to share if I ever go back. They also have so many options that you can get lost. That is a great thing but makes it hard for indecisive périplo like me Besides huge the omelet was also pretty good, but I would add a lil more seasonings for a lil extra flavor. Service here was great too. A cute waitress on pink hair was very pleasant and sweet.

I visited this little hide away cafe in the corner of a strip center close to the draw bridge on the 17th st causeway. It was just the type of breakfast spot I was searching for. There were a few pet friendly tables outdoors but we chose an indoor booth to stay cool in the a/c. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and equally friendly server. I made a great choice with the homemade corned beef hash, eggs and delicious home fries. My friend ordered bacon and eggs along with a blueberry pancake which was really as big as a cake! The atmosphere was cozy and had the decor of the fishing, boating and beach area nearby. We were treated Especially well by the staff with plenty of smiles and coffee refills. Parking was easy and prices were great! I'm always happy to support small businesses. I know this cafe has been in the area for many years. My only regret is that I hadn't found it sooner!

What a visit to Myra's Harbor Café. This place is in a strip mall, in the corner, so you wonder if you are in the right area. The food is worth it! I had the Denver Omelet, grits and Rye toast. The only thing I would change was add cheese to the omelet. It was huge (four eggs) and filling. Me wife ate the grits and loved them. Their coffee is bottomless and it is good. As we were eating a sweet little girl entered, it was Myra. As we sat there she came by and we chatted with her briefly. Later she had her toast and was glancing our way, I asked her if she wanted to sit with us and she nodded her head. It was quite charming and she was very well behaved. Her mom came over, and apologized but we loved our visit with Myra. It made a great meal even better as she is just delightful.

I wanted breakfast after picking up Rachel at Port Everglades. Found this cool Turkish diner (has outdoor seating!) in a nearby shopping plaza. They have the usual diner stuff like omelets and burgers and pancakes, but they also have a breakfast specialties list that includes Turkish and Full English. I got the Turkish with Sojuk sausage, feta, fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and olives. Comes with fresh baked rustic toast from bread baked in house, similar to a sourdough ramazan pide. Excellent. Their Turkish coffee is also really good, comes with two little pieces of Turkish delight candy. Rachel had their cappuccino. They are open until 3PM. Previously the restaurant also had dinner service serving Turkish specials such as kebabs and mezze but they had to throttle their hours back because of COVID. However, my understanding is that the owner, Mario, is willing to do these specials for lunch if you arrange it in advance.

If your looking for a small place to eat this is an awesome place! The food selection is very good. Had a little of everything. The service is great! The owners are always there and ready to serve you! I personally ate the pork chops! The flavor was amazing and cooked nice and juicy . They serve breakfast and lunch anytime of day. For sure will be back!

I have no problem understanding how Myra Harbor Café got its Four Star Yelp rating. Being little more than a Greek restaurant with some seemingly Turkish influences (most Greek restaurant have that) and then being stuck away in far southeast corner of a nothing special plaza mall they do are darn good job of what they do. Though only open for breakfast and lunch the menu is rather complete, especially when you ad in their backboard specials of the day. When I was there I had the liver and onions which was really great as they had add mushrooms and sided with a mash potato. I also got a taste of something else I never expected to taste in a Greek restaurant which was a very good lasagna. So who was it that said Greek restaurants can't make or serve Italian? Though I don't know, I do know that this one can. Though I can't really rave about their food other than to say it's good, I can rave about the dining experience here. With the overall friendliness of both the staff and the patrons, really gives Myra Harbor Café a certain warmth and ambiance you don't normally find in a restaurant or café that actually somewhat boarders on being a diner. At least it acts and talks like one, and a darn good one if it were

Arrived I in toown too early to check in to my hotel. A random search for cafe returned this place only a blocK away. It was after noon on a Monday but there still about 6 tables occupied. I was told to sIt anywhere and was immediately asked for my drink. I ordered the Turkish Breakfast, it was awesome. I highly recommend it to everyone.

As titanium Marriott bonvoy members, we received a breakfast voucher each morning of our stay, which is good for your choice of coffee or orange juice and an entree from a select menu (see pics). I found the select menu to have many great options. I had the "smothered burrito" which was huge and delicious and did not have any beans. The "traditional eggs Benedict" was typical and came with a large portion of their potatoes- yum. The "huevos rancheros" was great too but I wished it had those potatoes. My husband had the "applewood bacon and poached egg avocado toast" twice because it was so good. We ordered two additional eggs sunny to go with it, as that dish only had one poached egg. He also got the "two eggs your way" which comes with choice of protein, potatoes and two slices of sourdough toast w butter (no jam). He ordered bacon egg and cheese taco with that dish to maximize his protein intake. That was tasty. Everything we ate here was a good portion. I saw the regular menu. Dishes are about $16. The pancakes looked awesome- maybe we will get that next time. Pancakes would pair well with the hash- it looks like a huge dish. They have a breakfast cocktail menu. I had the bloody Maria (nothing special but it said house made bloody mix so I wanted to try it), which came with a celery stick. I think next time I'll do the coffee inspired cocktails. Those sound amazing. We ate inside because the wind was crazy like 25mph. We ate outside one day, when the wind wasn't as bad, and found that there are some pesky birds trying to steal food off of server trays. So if you don't want the birds, sit inside. The place gets busy; you can make a reservation. We never had to wait in line long or wait for a table, but I think that's because we're hotel guests. Once sat, we did wait more than 20 min to receive our food. But it's ok. The coffee is good. The restaurant turns into Lona for lunch and dinner. They give you the Lona drink menu for breakfast too if you're more in the mood for a margarita. Bar seating is first come first served. Bathrooms are inside the hotel lobby. There is no parking for the restaurant but you can valet.
