8/20/25 about the Aleris Dentist I saw today, I am 83 old here, living in assisted living and trust me I know dentists from California and Arizona, Florida I . He and his staff were so patient. All past dentists have trouble numbing my mouth. Not him.He aced it and kept asking if i was still OK.He was extremely patient with my anxiety. he kept pausing to see if I was still comfortable. I was unsure if I was to call the assisted home to get back. NOT their job but the staff graciously took care of it for me. and I got home safely . He does not need to know I went across the street for a frosty.. but I kept it off my teeth. read more

I went for a simple cleaning and since I was a new patient they also did xrays. I asked the lady at the front desk several times to verify that they accepted my insurance before treatment, and she assured me it was fine. I asked the dentist before the xrays started to verify that they took my insurance, and she did as well. A few weeks later I get a call that they don't accept my insurance and that I owe more than $300. The front desk lady refused to accept that they assured me that they accepted my insurance, refused to reduce the price, for example not charging me for the unnecessary xrays, etc. Avoid this place. read more

I got a Groupon for Zoom teeth whitening with dental cleaning. The place looked like the one of those that only serves Medicaid patients. The receptionist was very nice but these ladies were on the personal phone calls for the entire time I was in the waiting room. One of them was talking loudly about her issues with her child's day care... The dentist was a nice Korean woman but didn't do a good job on cleaning. She spent very little time cleaning my teeth. 1/3 of the time my regular dentist usually spends. At the end of my cleaning, the assistant told me that the person who does the teeth whitening isn't here today. When I arrived, I wasn't even told that the person who does teeth whitening wasn't there. So, I went back there for the tooth whitening. The girl was extremely late. If I knew this place was this unprofessional, I would have not bought a Groupon... read more

I went for my crown to be out in and was told I can get my cleaning at same time. They said wait 5 minutes and this eventually took an hour. They said there setting up cleaning up your chair but never happened with they wouldn't had said that over and over with no go. read more

Giving them a zero out of five stars. Clearly they don't want any buisness. So rude! They used to have an amazing dentist, young white woman (unfortunately forgot her name), who I totally regret following. The Russian couple that took over all the clientele are running this place to the ground. The husband who runs the front desk and answers the phone needs to find himself behind a computer, working alone, and stay away from any customer service positions! He is so rude and makes you feel very unwelcomed. Noone ever enjoys going to the dentist as it is and then to have to encounter this angry,uptight,unappreciative old man is just wrong. DONT GO HERE. It's obvious he could care less about his company and its too bad because I loved going there before my dentist left and was getting used to his wife who is an amazing dentist as well. This Dentist was my Dentist for several years. She consistently showed a sense of entitlement. I was told by her I had a cavity when it did not show on the X ray ! I scheduled an appointment for the cavity' on this day she had not arrived at the scheduled time I waited 45 minutes then left.I got a new dentist because of her demeanor. They wanted to talk to me about my review I left here on Yelp. Can you freakin' believe it? I recently had my first visit based on a friend's referral. I had a great experience -- the process from start to finish was painless and smooth. The staff was pleasant and I felt that the service I received was on par with the other dental experiences I've had in the past. Definitely recommend. read more

Bought a groupon for a zoom cleaning. The dental assistant (Jessica?) could not have been more helpful. She gave me all kinds of tips on what stains teeth, brushing, future dental cleanings, etc. Bought her recommended electric toothbrush and I love it-can't believe I lived without one. Don't know about the dental-saw some people at the desk -frustrated that they could not get such-and-such work done with lots of colorful language..hmmm. My experience was perfect. She took great care of me and explained everything-which I love. read more

Just went in for another visit with Dr. Helena. They have a new computer system that is awesome and really keeps track of you and your dental health. My tooth was fixed in very short order (that's what I love about her she is fast AND good) And my teeth were cleaned in a very good way. I recommend Aleris Dental to all because she is a consummate professional who cares about her patients. Also the office staff is so very nice and caring as well. It is a pleasure to go to the dentist here! Plenty of parking too across the street. read more

No option to put zero stars, so I'm going with the 1 star. Don't go here, my Mother had to pull a molar and the Dentist ended up pulling the WRONG TOOTH. Then she had to go back and pull a the correct one. I found out much later that the procedure was not done correctly, because if I would have known sooner I would have made sure they heard a thing or two from myself, as well as taken legal action. As a result, my Mother has to use partials for the rest of her life. Granted, taking care of your teeth is key, however if she was just missing the 1 tooth, she wouldn't need to use the partials, but due to Aleris' negligence, she is forced to do so. PATIENT BEWARE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, PLEASE! read more

This review is based on me just trying to go there as a new customer. I've never been inside the establishment and at this point I don't plan on trying anymore. I called last Friday to request an appointment for a check up as a new customer. She scheduled me in for a Monday afternoon. - Calls Monday an hour before my appointment and tells me we need to reschedule. We make it for Wednesday. -Calls Tuesday afternoon to say we need to reschedule. We make it for Friday afternoon. -Calls two hours later to say she made a mistake and that no dentist would be in Friday. We reschedule for Saturday morning. -Calls today, Saturday, 50 minutes before my appointment and says there's a dentist emergency and that we have to reschedule. ( Very convenient for the start of the tax-free weekend, huh? ) Fall semester starts soon. Ain't nobody got time for this. read more

This is place is really awful. They don't know what their are doing. Staff and doctor is fighting in the front of patients. And this is ridicules and unacceptable . They should be going out of business and never be able to see patients again. Doctors is not thinking about patients at all. Only they care about that is MONEY!!!!!!!! My cleaning took only few minutes and doctor said i need 4 root canals and 13 fillings. I had my last cleaning 5 months before and didn't have this problems. If I could give them negative stars, I would!!! I searched TMJ dentists on the internet and came up with Aleris. Their website states that they specialize in TMJ and Neuromuscular dentistry. Since I have been suffering for 3 months with non-stop symptoms of TMJ that at this point are affecting my life, I was thrilled to find this listing. I get to my appt and I tell the dental assistant everything she tell me they are going to take X-rays and when the dentist comes in to make sure I tell her everything. The dentist comes in and I rattle off every symptom and tell her about the muscle spasms in my neck, the dizzy spells, the not being able to open my jaw, the migraines everything expecting some kind of sympathetic understanding and all I get is her telling me I should contact Tufts Dental in Boston to see a TMJ specialist. Wait a minute.... I thought you were a TMJ specialist with all the understanding and latest technology to help decide a treatment plan???? Ummm.... NO they definitely are not!!! Here is a direct quote from their website, "Our team of expert TMJ dentists is all very sympathetic to the dental TMJ cases and tries to provide a painless treatment for TMJ as with all of the dental care proceedures. So, the moment you are diagnosed with TMJ symptoms like jaw pain, ringing in the ears and muscle aches in the shoulder and back, you should consult with one of our dental TMJ specialists without delay before the condition worsens. An early diagnosis might help lesson the effort to correct a TMJ problem later on. There are some cases in which TMJ can be solved through the application of simple techniques like trying to control the extent of mouth opening with TMJ correcting splints, then again, there are more severe case where minor oral surgery could be the best option for matured dental TMJ cases." Well in my experience, Aleris Dental is nothing that they state in any way shape or form, I left in tears from the dentist digging at my gums and didn't even finish the cleaning! I'm not sure why they would claim that they are experts in TMJ Disorders, but it's all a crock of B.S.!!! Save yourself and find another dentist!!!! read more

My review for this dentist is horrible!! If I can put a negative star I would. I went to this dentist for a routine cleaning and some pain that I had in my premolar tooth. The whole dentist environment seemed kinda off but I still continued with my appointment because I needed I was in pain. I got xrays taken and the quickest cleaning ever! (No flossing, polishing, checking gums etc.) So Dr. Elena Siniaver said I had a root canal and had to treat it ASAP or pull tooth out either or. I was kinda horrified the fact my tooth might had to come out. I had a few cavity's but there was no urgency to get that fixed. The dentist was on how I had to get this root canal done. And I was like "so how about the cavities?" I asked how much the price was. She said was from 850 to 2000 depends if I need a crown etc. I asked if they will be able to do any payment plans. She said they can break the payment by giving around 850 first payment that the second part. I certainly could not afford that at the moment just do I don't have that type of money in my pocket. She gave me antibiotics to try to stop the infection. I missed an appointment for the "so called "root canal exam. I went back there for an emergency visit because I was in pain again and my tooth cracked. I explained to them I was in pain. She asked me if I took the antibiotic and told her I did and seemed that I was taking it wrong. The Dentist got upset and said "why aren't you listening to me, Why didn't you take the medication correctly" with an attitude. She just had one of the dental assistants give me another x-ray and sent me off with the same antibiotics that I messed up on. I was already upset with the situation and wasn't being explained anything and seemed to be getting bitched at because I didn't take the antibiotics correctly. So I know I am not a doctor, nurse, dentist, etc. but I do know when someone is in pain you should physically examine their mouth not just give an x-ray. Also not to prescribe the same antibiotic if they messed up on it. Our bodies get used to those antibiotics if we take them long enough and it doesn't work correctly. I spoke to my friends about this and she said to her mom had a horrible experience there too. Same thing that her mom needed a root canal ASAP. Her mom went through with the procedure and they pulled out the wrong tooth. Who does that? Dentist that skip CORNERS and have DIRTY UNSANITARY OFFICES should not be open. I found a great dentist and she told me what was wrong with my mouth (by explaining why I was in pain and if I need a root canal + told me how many cavities I had and needed to get fixes asap) and said I had a large cavity (so- called non savable tooth) and needed to get a fill in first. Then if that doesn't work I might need a root canal. So my tooth doesn't need to be pulled out or have a root canal immediately. Their offices is spotless and the dental assistants are professional and friendly. They also work with reasonable payment plans. WHATS OUT for this Aleris Dental. That are horrible!! I will never recommend anyone to go here again. I will make sure I tell people about my experience here so they don't get ripped off or bitched at for lack of dental knowledge. read more
