John was very responsive to my inquiries and extremely knowledgeable about glass repair. When I got to his Villa Park studio he was able to take a look and start repairing it basically straight away, and the whole thing probably took around ten minutes! John's fees were also very reasonable and at the low end of the range he initially estimated. We were able to put the repaired cover back up and it's as if no damage ever happened! Huge thank you to John for his speedy and thoughtful work. If I ever need any other glass repaired (or engraved or frosted - there were lots of beautiful examples of his other work in his studio), I definitely know where to go!

Jesse did an outstanding job repairing/restoring a very intricate stained glass window from an old…read morechurch. Before Jesse's intervention, the tiny glass pieces embedded within, had started to all collapse together inward like a bowl (originally it was flat) and some of the pieces were missing. Also, this stained glass window had been underlaid by light tubes to illuminate the colorful glass at one time, but that whole mechanism had broken down, along with the wiring. Also, it was very dirty. Jesse turned the entire scenario around1 The stained glass pieces were so tiny that it is amazing he could even put this together again, but he did, and with excellence! Now it is appropriately flat again, and he cleaned all those tiny glass pieces! He even repaired the whole lighting mechanism! He added an important scaffolding to help fortify its structure as well. He really knows what he is doing and is very pleasant to work with! His fee is very fair. Attached are photos of his work, one with the lights off & one with them on. 'Wish I could show you all how dilapitated the total window looked before Jesse's work! I heartily recommend Jesse!

It was pretty messed up, with stained glass I was sure they would never be able to duplicate. Jessie came out, took the entire piece of window and within 2 weeks it was back in the door. He did such a superb job You couldn't even tell it had been repaired. I kept Jessie's number, having a gut feeling I would need him again. 10 years later, we had a tree cut down in the back yard. One of the large branches came down and took out a very expensive custom made street lamp, breaking all the glass and severely damaging the metal. I knew he did stained glass so I called him in a panic and he came out. Took it back to his laboratory and soon enough, it was good as new. He even matched the glass to the exact pattern. I decided, for the 6th time (to my wife's annoyance), to rearrange our living room. This time I…read morefinally succeeded with something we both liked. This left a large area between our fireplace and side wall, which was plenty of space for her to work on her dance routines and teach our daughter ballet. We decided the best use of the blank wall would be to put a large mirror on it and turn the space into a ​personal, convertible dance studio. I took some measurements, a couple of photos, and emailed them to GlassWorks's general email address. It was a Sunday, and John called back 15 minutes later with a total, including install. (My measurements​ and photos were pretty​ detailed, so I doubted the price would change in the end). My wife and I debated​ about actually moving forward with the project and finally called John back a couple of weeks later. He came over the next day to take a quick look, measure​ it himself, and confirm the pricing was solid. I called back the next day to pay the deposit and wait to schedule another measurement and marking by his install team. It took a little while to actually get those guys out here because they seem to be pretty busy. It was about 2 weeks before they actually came out. The guys who came out, Carlos and Jesus, were extremely​ nice and professional. You could tell they really took their time to make sure everything was measured correctly and in the right spot (nothing in our condo actually lines up​ or is centered). They left the tape on the wall to mark center in case​ different installers came out to do it. It took another couple of weeks for the shop to fabricate the mirrors with cutouts for our outlets, then the install was scheduled. Carlos and Jesus came back out to install it. There was a little imperfection on the center edge of one of the mirrors. Carols pointed it out to me and it took a minute for me to actually see what he was talking about. Whether or not I saw it didn't matter, because they were already taking the steps to correct it. All in all, the process took about 4 weeks from John coming out, to having the mirrors installed. The time frame took a little longer than I expected, but that's what happens when you work with a company that is consistently​ busy. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous​, from Sandy who answers the phones to Rammell​ who schedules the crew, it was great working with the GlassWorks team. I highly recommend​ them.

As soon as I contacted Victor they understood our need and were priced including delivery. We traced out the top, hoping we did it right, and dropped it off to them. Victor cleanly and safely removed the broken glass and came back a few hours later with a replacement piece. By 4pm, the entire project was done, and only one other company had even messaged. Price was great and the service/speed was amazing. Note - Victor used the broken pieces as a template to cut the new one - so don't throw out the broken glass if it's a unique shape! Him removing it helped him make a new one and prevented me from having to deal with the old broken one.
