Yet when the practice decided to close and cancel patient appointments, I received no notification whatsoever. Had I not called, I would have driven over an hour to the office, sat through traffic, rearranged my schedule, and shown up for an appointment that was never going to happen. Patients deserve the same courtesy and respect that they are expected to show their providers. I understand that businesses close, but failing to notify patients with scheduled procedures is highly unprofessional. Since September 2019, I have been going to Dr. Anhalt's from time to time. First, I came for a…read moresecond opinion for itching and redness that I could not get under control with creams prescribed at PAMF. Dr. Anhalt diagnosed me with eczema and eventually prescribed two creams, one for the neck and down and the other for the face (above the neck). Dr. Anhalt's prescriptions allowed me to finally obtain relief. It was huge for me because before, the discomfort would flare up as soon as I went to bed, and I could not sleep. I had enough of sleep difficulties stemming from other conditions to have, on top of them, an itch that would not go away. I am so grateful to Dr. Anhalt. He also took the time to educate me on the proper use of steroids and the safe duration of their use so that I would obtain not just short-term relief but freedom from flare-ups for many months at a stretch. I still get flare-ups, but now they come infrequently (once a year - about that often), usually triggered by stress, and I have an arsenal of tools at home to nip the problem in the bud quickly. I always take the creams Dr Anhalt prescribed on trips, just in case. I have never had a flare-up during a trip, which is probably because I am so well-prepared. So that is about the treatment of my skin condition. But my gratitude for Dr Anhalt stretches further. He did sclerotherapy for me ONCE, several years ago, and eliminated all unsightly spider veins behind my knees. ONE and DONE. I have recommended this procedure to women in one of my Facebook groups that has members across the world as an example of its effectiveness and provided pictures of my legs from behind. They could not believe that I used to have veins there. And the thing is, I had had veins under the knees and had had them since middle school (!). And now, all gone. For me, it is very important to have smooth skin on the back side of my legs, and it gives me confidence everywhere: in the bedroom, in the gym, wearing bike shorts, and stepping out in knee-length midi skirts or A-line dresses. Dr Anhalt was not the first one to do sclerotherapy for me. Prior to him, I had had it done at a med spa. Several times, once a year. I was told that this procedure needed upkeep at least once a year. And I was told that I did not need to wear compression stockings afterward. Dr. Anhalt, citing research, insisted that I wear compression stockings after the procedure, day and night, without taking them off. He directed me to a store for disability-related products to buy the stockings. It was uncomfortable in them but well worth it - they made the outcome so much better, and I do NOT need upkeep procedures. In fact, Dr Anhalt was surprised when I asked initially when I would need to have it done again. "Never", he said. And so far, so good - no complaints. I could not quite believe the difference - this doctor charged me less (!) than at the med spa and eliminated the problem once and for all, ensuring I followed the uncomfortable but necessary research-based protocol. At the med spa, they were essentially milking me for money yearly via first "allowing me" to be comfortable (they cited their own research which ostensibly proved that with or without compression stockings did not matter) and this way also making sure that I would then need to come again. Had I not seen Dr. Anhalt for this procedure, I would have continued to increase the med spa's profit margins and wasted my time doing repeat procedures when one, done correctly, was all that I needed. Now that I have come back to Yelp to update my review based on my own experience, I have scanned negative reviews, and my jaw dropped. Dr. Anhalt is the funniest, kindest, effervescently brilliant man and an asset to our local patient community for medical care and cosmetic needs.

Seeing him was the worst decision of my life, and it completely ruined my skin. In June 2024, I developed contact dermatitis and made the mistake of seeing this doctor. If I could turn back time, I would never have gone to him, no matter how desperate I was. There were already tons of bad reviews about him, but since he was the only one available quickly, I took the risk--and I regret it every single day. Why is he incompetent? 1 Reckless treatment for sensitive skin - If you have very sensitive skin, a competent doctor would usually recommend products for sensitive skin or advise you to stop using anything until your skin improves. But instead, this doctor gave me a bunch of product samples without considering my skin condition. - I trusted him and used the products he gave me--my skin had a severe reaction, and it has never recovered since. I am still undergoing treatment at a major hospital, and I have spent an enormous amount of money trying to fix what he did to my skin. 2 Misdiagnosis and harmful advice - After experiencing a severe reaction from his recommended product, my skin started peeling. When I went back to him, he completely misdiagnosed the issue and told me my skin was just very dry and that I needed to keep trying different products. - I followed his advice and kept trying new products, but my skin only became more and more sensitive until it refused to tolerate ANY products at all. - Eventually, I saw another dermatologist--they immediately recognized that my skin issue was simply my sunscreen pilling and told me to stop using all products. If only I had seen a real expert sooner! This doctor destroyed my skin, and I will never be able to go back to how it was before. Can you imagine? As a woman, not being able to wear makeup ever again? I haven't been able to apply any moisturizer or sunscreen for 7 months. I don't even know if I'll ever be able to wear makeup again. I am beyond devastated. Because of him, I have spent so much money, suffered mentally, and have been battling depression since June 2024. Who is going to take responsibility for this? I want to sue him for ruining my life. If you care about your skin, especially as a woman, STAY AWAY from this doctor. I am warning you--DO NOT make the same mistake I did.

She was super friendly and did a great job on my sensitive skin! I was glowing when I left! I can't wait to go back. I was originally scheduled with nurse Hana for Botox but then I was switched to Dr Kelsey Lipman at the last minute after my facial. I am so very grateful that I was! Dr Lipman took her time with me. I felt that she genuinely listened to my concerns and she was patient.(Even though it was already almost 5:00 and I'm sure she wanted to go home). She addressed all my concerns and all of my questions, which were numerous. This was my first time getting Botox and discussing fillers with any doctor. Dr Lipman made me feel very much at ease and made sure I had thorough understanding of everything. She was not pushy at all. She respected the fact that I wanted to have a lighter approach, and she tailored her technique to what I wanted. Dr Lipman really knows what areas to inject. I could tell by her process of telling me how to move my face, and strategically placing the shot, she *really* knows what she's doing. Obviously, Dr. Lipman has a great education but bedside manner is something that cannot be taught- it is intrinsic. Dr Lipman was super kind. When she did the first injection in my glabella, I started hyperventilating and freaked out. I have a needle phobia going back a long time, and I'm diagnosed with panic attack and anxiety disorder. The shot felt weird, since I was not used to it. I freaked out and said, "I can't do this anymore. Please stop!" She immediately stopped and said, "No problem at all, just relax and breathe, you don't have to do anything you don't want to do." Then she smiled and said, "Hey I'll be right back. I have something for you!" So here I am, trying to calm myself down because I just freak out about needles like that. (It stems from massive dental trauma when I was young). I really wanted the Botox though, I wanted that gift for myself. Dr Lipman came back in with a synthetic breast implant! She told me what it was and said ,"Many patients find this is better than a stress ball." Lol I had never seen or felt a breast implant before, so this was already novel and also amusing. She was totally right! It was actually extremely soothing. better than a squish ball to squeeze for stress! LOL so I'm cracking up about squeezing this breast implant and feeling much better about things so I asked her to please continue. She did, and she took her time and reminded me to breathe and told me when to relax. It was great, and totally not painful. Plucking my eyebrows feels worse. She was fabulous, she recommended when I should take breaths in when she's going to do the injections, and the whole procedure moved really fast. Many of the injections were completely painless, this was all my own psychological doing that freaked me out. I I highly recommend Dr Kelsey Lipman for any of your cosmetic needs. She really impressed me with her customer service skills and caring for me as a patient. Due to a personal history of anaphylactic shock, I had some concerns about a potential allergic reaction. Dr Lipman was kind enough to share her cell phone number with me in case of an emergency so I can call her right away!! I really value that service and compassion. This high level of care has been something that's been very rare throughout my medical history. Thanks again Dr Lipman, you are amazing! I look forward to next time.

I wanted to address the root of it. During that time, I asked everyone I knew in the Bay Area for recommendations, and I kept hearing the same name... Dr. Lieberman. After looking into his background, it made complete sense. Stanford, Cornell, advanced facial plastic surgery training, double board certified, and fully specialized in the face. I chose to move forward with Dr. Lieberman at L&P Aesthetics, and the experience felt incredibly personalized. I had direct access to him throughout the process, and he personally checked on me during recovery, which meant a lot. He actually called me himself multiple times to talk through the ptosis repair because I wasn't sure if I wanted to include it. He was very honest that I likely wouldn't be happy with my results doing just an upper bleph alone, and took the time to walk me through it until I felt completely confident in my decision. That level of care, especially from someone with such a busy practice, really stood out to me. I ended up having: * Upper blepharoplasty (upper bleph) * Lower blepharoplasty (lower bleph) * Ptosis eyelid repair * Fat grafting under eyes, temples, and smile lines * Perfractional laser resurfacing From a results standpoint, this wasn't just cosmetic for me. My vision is clearer, everything feels brighter and more open, and that constant heaviness in my forehead and eyelids is gone. I also had one eyebrow that sat noticeably lower than the other my entire life, something I never loved but never planned to fix, and now they're finally even, which has made such a difference. As I had been aging I had lost SO much volume in my face and the fat grafting really helped a tremendous amount to bring softness back into my face. Even though I was nervous, he and his amazing anesthesiologist were always confident and have had several years of surgery experience. My recovery was strong- no pain or nausea, a couple of days of minor bleeding, managed with just mild medication. I also managed to sleep. And Dr. Mehta's post - op support has been incredible. He truly cares about his patients and has made a positive difference in my quality of life. I sleep better, and can exercise more. And I noticed better cardiovascular function aswell. I am Truly grateful to have met a gifted and a talented surgeon in Dr.Mehta! Jill also worked magic with the insurance companies and his entire staff at the clinic is professional and friendly. Unfortunately, this also meant that I suddenly had nobody here to take out my sutures or to monitor my healing when I got back- and I was completely overwhelmed. Thankfully I found Dr Mehta and made an appointment, and I'm so, so glad I did. He immediately noticed I had a bad infection before he removed my sutures, and likely ended up saving the work that had been done on my nose in the process. He treated me for it right away and I was perfectly ok in under 48 hours. Not only was Dr Mehta willing to help me out even though I wasn't originally his patient, he was also available and responsive to me later that night via email and phone. Plus the ladies in his office are the BEST! The lovely girl at the front desk is also proof of his work (she has the perfect nose), and I would go to Dr Mehta if I had to do it all again. I spoke with five different surgeons in the Bay Area and she really stood out for her professionalism. More so than any other surgeon, my consult with her felt like a medical appointment as opposed to a sales pitch. She went into my medical history and went to great lengths to understand the results I wanted to achieve, especially as a smaller person trying not to go too big. She was honest, patient, and highly informed and willing to go into great detail about the procedure, which I really appreciated. Jolie (the practice manager) was also fantastic for laying out all of the details of the surgery and making sure it went smoothly. I trusted her enough to try a new implant (Motiva) that she hadn't worked with previously and do not regret my decision at all. The surgery itself went very smoothly and I had a surprisingly quick recovery (2 days of bedrest for 215-230cc implants under the muscle). Dr. Weintraub and Jolie were very responsive with the questions I had about aftercare. Three months post-surgery, I'm incredibly happy with the results and keep getting great feedback about how natural they look and feel! 10/10 would recommend this practice and working with Dr. Weintraub especially. Note: A lot of plastic surgeons will go to great lengths to market themselves, taking out advertisements and promoting their business so it's at the top of search results. I heard about Dr. Weintraub from a friend-of-a-friend and was way more impressed with her than all of the top-billed surgeons I consulted with.
