I stopped by Alexandra's for Sunday brunch with some friends. The café was busy when we arrived around 1 PM, with every table filled, but the cozy atmosphere made it a nice place to relax. I ordered the sweet waffles, while my friend got the savory version. Mine came with strawberry jam and whipped cream, and the waffles were crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. The sweet and tart flavors balanced well. The savory waffles had herbed cream cheese, jalapeños, and a fried egg, which made for a completely different but tasty combination. While both were solid, I preferred the sweet one. On our waitress's recommendation, I also tried the frittata, and it ended up being my favorite dish. It had plenty of olives, adding a nice briny flavor, and the eggs and potatoes were cooked perfectly.

Alexandra's is criminally underrated. It's cute and fairly spacious inside, has two sidewalk bistro tables, and brunch is not busy so there's no wait. I realize I'm probably shooting myself in the foot with that little note, but they deserve the business. The young staff is super helpful and take care of patrons quickly. There are so many delicious looking items. We tried the tartine, a sweet sourdough waffle, and a savory one. Every single bite was amazing. There was definitely a hard boiled egg where a soft boiled (or was it poached?) was offered, but that hardly phased us. We took 6 packs of macrons to go, and while I do not enjoy them myself, my family devoured them in moments. I will definitely be back to try more of the tantalizing menu. Oh, and there's pizza if you go in the evening! Plenty of GF options, too.

Stopped in to try the holiday macarons and got one of each plus an extra Santa sugar cookie since the staff person recommended it! I appreciated the thoughtful wrapping and recommendations. They were also friendly as they wrapped the snacks. Cute and small seating area if you're planning to stay. The macarons were fresh and tasty without being overly sweet like I think sometimes can happen with sweeter flavor inspirations. Would recommend!

Everything was soooo good very nice quiet neighborhood breakfast / coffee spot. Definitely a favorite spot !

I don't like macarons, but I like these ones - they are so good! Cute little neighborhood shop. The macarons are $3.5 each or 6/$18...pricey but aligned with the pricing of other premium products in Seattle.

After picking up some groceries for the week, I saw this cute coffee shop on the corner of the street. I stopped to grab a coffee but then ended up also getting a frittata that sounded and then ended up tasting amazing. Wasn't in the mood for macarons or pizza, but knew I needed to go back once I had that fantastic coffee and frittata! There was only one person working, I was thinking it was Alexandras she was so nice and kind. If you are in a rush, I would recommend another coffee shop because I did have to wait some time for the coffee and frittata. There is also no wifi at this coffee shop which I really like because it gives you the opportunity to connect in person with others and also be with yourself.

This macaron and pastry cafe is the absolute cutest. They're closed Monday's, but open 7-7 the rest! I got a box of assorted macarons that ended up being so delicious. Very soft and not hard or chewy, these macarons literally melted in my mouth. I highly suggest getting the mango chili macaron. The almond croissant I got had the most decadent amaretto filling and paired excellently with the hot oat milk latte I got. I wish I came here more since I lived so close to it, but definitely come here for coffee if you're in the area and come out of your way for her macarons!

Alexandra's is a great neighborhood joint. Lots of families come here before and after school. They sell out of most of their pastries after 11am but they always have plenty of macarons. Service is really good. Everyone who works here is super nice and patient and attentive! Now honest review: Savory danish: 7/10 that day it was a goat cheese and yam flavor. Danish was dry but the flavor was good. Pretty small though (and flat) Sesame bagel w/ spicy garlic cream cheese: 6/10 bagels were so small and flat and super chewy. For the price it wasn't worth it. Garlic cream cheese was pretty good. Lots of raw garlic inside. Vanilla oat latte: 6/10 just average. Coffee isn't a standout The macarons are the show stopper. Any flavor is great. My favorite is the pistachio. Even though the coffee and other pastries are average, the people, ambiance make up for it. Support local businesses!

Gosh this place is soooooo goooood!!! I walked in simply because I was parched and wanted some tea. And got extremely distracted by the beautiful macarons and incredible flavours. I got hibiscus-rose and passionfruit-rose-sesame macaron! Gosh they were both so goood!! The passionfruit cream was so perfect to offset the sweetness and the hibiscus was so damn creamy. These are very fresh and crispy. By far the best macrons in Seattle. I also got the pistachio rose cake. Very crumbly and soft just sweeter than I prefer! Side note my friend also got cappuccino which was perfect!!

Very cute coffee shop- inside reminded me of inside an air stream for some reason. The shop has some indoor and outdoor seating. They offer various food offerings that really can be meals, as well as normal bakery items and pastries. I got an oat milk latte with a bit of vanilla syrup. It was pretty good and the store was just so cute. I could see settling in there for a cozy cup with a friend or two. Next time I may just need to try a pastry!

This place is super cute! If you live nearby I highly recommend strolling over here on a nice day and sitting in the courtyard. I had an oat milk latte and my mum had a normal latte and a frittata. I totally forgot to take any photos of the food or coffee but I did take a picture of the amazing courtyard out the back!

This place is absolutely adorable. I remember when she sold her macarons out of her van and now they have an actual location. Their macarons are still the best Ive ever had but now theres so much other things to choose from. We also got a guava and cream cheese pop-tart. It was amazing!

I loved this place! After hearing such good things from a friend I decided to visit. I was not disappointed. It's such a cute aesthetic shop with little plants all over. The owner is so friendly. The macarons.... Let me telllll you. Wonderful. Sooo sooo delicious. I got a pack of 12 and a pack of 6. My favorite was the red velvet and pistachio. They're soft and crunch and have a good amount of filling ratio compared to the cookie itself. There's also a funfetti one, I haven't tried it yet but it looks so cute! Definitely check it out.

I stopped by over the weekend and tried the almond croissant and an iced vanilla latte. I was honestly surprised by how reasonably priced everything was, especially considering it's in such a tourist-heavy area. For comparison, the coffee shop upstairs (storyville) had lattes for around $8.50, while here we got two coffees AND two pastries for about $24 total. For the quality, I thought that was a really good value. I order vanilla lattes everywhere I go, and this one was fantastic. The space itself is also pretty large -- we were able to find seating easily even on a sunny Sunday afternoon in Seattle. It was very crowded, but still found a spot and the long line went by quickly. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're visiting Seattle!

When asking for the most popular item, the friendly employee said the almondine (almond croissant) would be the must-try. I have to say- it was a great croissant, but not the best I've ever had. However, I did think the pricing was very reasonable here. There is a small selection of indoor seating, and of course, they have a full coffee menu to enjoy, too. The vibe felt somewhat formal and not the cozy local bakery vibe I enjoyed at other spots in Seattle. The hardest part about visiting Pike Place is that there is so much to choose from and so much competition. Are there better bakeries? Probably. Is Le Panier great and easily accessible on the main strip of Pike Place? Yes. That fact makes it a great choice for your pastry needs.

I was pleasantly surprised (and amused) to find their macarons with custom printing at the "REVIVE I-5" booth at the University Street Fair. I was amused enough to write a separate review for them. The quality of the artwork and print colors are fantastic and vibrant with the rainbow colors. Please see photo. If I was interested in custom macarons, I would most definitely order some from Macadons. The flavor in this case is a simple vanilla, which has its charms, though I typically buy other flavors. The shell doesn't have the characteristic slight crispy, which is understandable since these are not fresh from the store. The inside is a very creamy filling that squished out on the sides as I bite down. Everyone has their own texture preferences. I personally like it less creamy. I normally buy their ice cream macarons, but these are still very good. The individual boxes make them great for small gifts.

I had a friend gathering to go to the same night, and wanted to bring some desserts so this place came to mind. For it being very wet and rainy, this place feels like a nice relief from all that with the bright lighting and the cafe-like feel of the place. There's a grassy wall near the back for photo ops, and there are some tables, window seating and front couch seating. They don't only sell macarons here; there's also coffee, tea, and macaron ice cream sandwiches. I got a baker's dozen, which comes with 12 randomly assorted regular-sized macarons in a small container. This particular one came with three limited flavors: red velvet, cran-orange and a pear-like flavor. They were marked separately on a card provided with the box that shows all their regular offerings of macaron flavors. This came to $36 compared to $40 for the same number of macarons if you wanted to choose specifically which flavors you wanted instead. I also got myself a Thai tea macaron ice cream sandwich; each one is prepackaged and $8. Both people working at the counter were extremely helpful in helping me decide what to get, and explaining the differences between both sets. Flavor wise, I was not disappointed: - My Thai tea macaron ice cream sandwich hit the spot! The macarons did not come apart too easily and I could still maintain the shape of the sandwich throughout. Ice cream consistency is great, and the Thai tea flavor is not too strong. The whole thing is not too sweet by itself either, and this goes for all of their macarons in general. From other visits to their stand during conventions, I recommend their Cap'n Crunch berry, lemon, peach and durian flavors for ice cream sandwiches. - One of my friends and I loved the Vietnamese coffee flavored macaron. Taste is strong like phin-brewed coffee and it didn't have much sweet of a taste, something that would not have done well for this flavor. - The cran-orange and blueberry flavors were our other favorites; both had tastes that reminded me a lot of their respective flavors. - The box also had dark chocolate, vanilla, ube, Thai tea, pistachio and salted caramel flavors. All were decent and tasty. What I like about this place is that the taste for all of their macarons is exactly as advertised and never bogged down by the flavor that macaron shells are usually full of. I can't eat too many of these at once since they can be too sweet over time, so I would save these for a group setting where you can share these. By themselves, they are a great way to get your sweet tooth the love it needs!
