This is in a little bit of an odd spot but it's very cheerful and bright inside. I stopped in for 3 pastries and walked out with a box of like 7 lol. The server was very friendly and helpful and she was knowledgeable about their products. She also gave us some extras since they were closing soon for free, which was very kind of her. We loved all our items - my corgi would like to give a special shoutout to the flaky croissant dough as she got a sample while we ate that. I've had their stuff at local cafes but it's even better fresh from the source. They also had nondairy cookies! Love!

I was parked near Moto Pizza, thank goodness for those balloons to mark entrance (2/14/26)

I have never tried any of the popular baked goods from the Ballard Farmers Market or items featured at several wholesale sites. However, I was intrigued about the brick and mortar grand opening scheduled for Valentine's Day (2/14/26). Maddy's Bakeshop is in the vicinity where Interbay, lower Queen Anne, and Belltown seem to converge. Where Elliott splits to Western (keep left), I was able to snag a parking spot nearby. I must of stopped by during the sweet spot around 1030am, because there was only one person ahead of me and a few people seated along the window banquette. The retail site is organized with merch, flowers, baked goods (pastries, cookies, and cake), drip featuring Kuma Coffee, and tea from Miro Tea. The production site is situated further back. I am unsure though how someone with mobility challenges can manage the entrance step or navigate through a tight space, just an fyi. I still had other stops to make in Georgetown, so I exercised restraint and purchased one each: pain au chocolat ($7), grilled cheese croissant topped with a cornichon ($8), and a savory bun with ricotta, hot honey, and ricotta ($8). For current information, check out via website (maddysbakeshop.com) or Instagram (@maddysbakeshop). Definitely very accomplished with laminated and sweet doughs! I look forward to future visits and trying other featured baked specialties.

One of the best places for croissants in Seattle, I love stopping by her stand whenever I'm at Ballard farmers market. Her croissants are buttery and flaky with seasonal ingredients. The pistachio and raspberry croissant is my favorite!

SO HAPPY that Maddy has opened her bakeshop 5 min from my home! Cute shop!! I'm more of a savory person so I love the grilled cheese croissant , the jalapeño pepper croissant and the french onion soup croissant. But the earl grey kouign amann is totally delicious too! So many choices. Can't wait to try them all!!

Possibly the best pain au chocolat in Seattle. We did a side-by-side with two other solid contenders. Give Maddy's a shot.

I ordered a 16oz iced oat milk mocha and loved how perfectly the chocolate was incorporated into my drink! It tasted sweet and the coffee added the robust flavour I love in my mochas My boyfriend had never tried a Moroccan Fog before and he loved how sweet it was without him having to add sugar. He especially loved that it had just the right amount of mint flavoring without being toothpaste For breakfast, I ordered their fruit danish! I love that they had different options of fruit to pick from and I chose blueberry! The pastry was perfectly flaky and I loved how fresh the blueberry tasted. My boyfriend ordered the chocolate croissant because he was excited at the idea of the chocolate being piped through the croissant and also drizzled over the top, but it turns out the dark brown parts on top are just design and not more chocolate. Still, he was pleased with the amount of chocolate in the croissant and the bite I had was heavenly. The champagne cake caught my eye as I was ordering and I just had to try a bite, it was absolutely delicious and fresh. I loved how light the cake was and the layers of flavour through the whole dessert! I love how bright and airy the cafe is! My boyfriend and I were easily able to find seating by the windows and enjoyed the gorgeous view of the space needle and people watching as we shared breakfast. The staff here was also patient and welcoming. We'll definitely have to come back and try more of their pastries!!

Coffee is good but not a wow. Food like the croissants seems to be not fresh. They did not have the look of freshly baked considering it was around 9am. Not sure but did not have the glow or lopk when I see a pastry. Nice place though. Lots of tables and space. They were busy.

The owners of Gola's kitchen are a husband and wife duo. Osiris handles all the production of events and the marketing of the business. Her husband Michal is the chef. I met the pair at another dinner event they had hosted and it was the set up of the party that first caught my eye. The table was set up with beautiful colors and the table setting had a vintage cottage feel. When the food finally came out I fell in love and knew I had to get the pair's contact. They were both very nice. Talking to them you instantly knew how passionate they are about food. We talked about their travels to Europe and all the different food events they've hosted around Seattle. Michal is from Czechoslovakia and Osiris is Filipino American. They pull flavors and influence from both sides and are able to whip up something magical. If you are looking for a catering company, look no further! We decided to build our own menu looking at all of the fabulous dishes on their diverse and ethnic menu because we wanted some of everything! Before we committed, Osiris invited us over for a tasting at their house to help us decide and we were sold! For our main dishes we chose the Adobe BBQ Chicken and Pork Barbacoa - both were a huge hit according to our 105 guests! They made sure to bring plenty of food for our buffet and we never ran out of anything. They packaged all leftover food for us to take home at the end of the night so we had extra and nothing went to waste. Osiris pre-plated me and my husbands food so we could eat right when we sat down so we could get a head start before other wedding events began.
