A modern and warm office, I was immediately greeted by the receptionist. I was checked in quickly and waited only a few minutes before being greeted by my hygienist. Carla was warm and friendly and did a great job through my routine cleaning of being personable and making my experience comfortable. The facility is brand new and it shows, having TV game shows on while my teeth were being cleaned and worked on. Dr. Lee came in a little bit later and also provided a similar warm and comfortable dental experience. I'm usually indifferent about going to the dentist having both positive and negative experiences in the past. This was definitely one the better ones where I felt informed, engaged, and allowed a good discussion about any issues I've had. Dr. K is a grifter unfortunately: in a ten minute consult he told me that 1) my teeth were being ground down so needed a mouth guard 2) my gums were receding and required orthodontic consult 3) I would probably have cavities next time I got there because of the shape of my molars 4) I had concerning gingivitis due to LIGHT bleeding 5) that a small tooth chip from probably 15 years ago was due to some of these issues 6) I should get my wisdom teeth out. At every other dentist I've gone to I've never felt so buffeted by an endless stream of blah-blah "must act now!" diagnosis -- every other dentist has said my teeth is fine. And my teeth ARE and FEEL fine, but according to this dentist, I couldn't trust how I felt. But the thing that makes me confident this guy is full of it is that, when he was describing my teeth grinding, he said, "what about the headaches you told me about?" when I had never disclosed this symptom to him (because I have not had this symptom!) Sorry insurance isn't reimbursing you enough bud, but I am taking my business elsewhere. If I were an easier mark I would have paid thousands extra to make these fixes for problems that don't exist. No explanation of why or what services I never paid for (they collect payment before they do the service every time). I called the number the email they told me to on the email, and it said it wasnt in service and to call the main number. I call the main number and they said they are just messengers and cant help me and they needed to i needed to call the billing dept. and gave they gave me the number that was disconnected. This is place is a racket, please avoid at all costs.
