Sort of a triage mind-set, instead of a "first caller comes first". When I called Michael, my situation was not an emergency so he didn't come until the following day, which was just fine with me. He did call to tell me he was backed up and would come the next day. At that time, Michael lived in Staten Island. He had so many service calls in NJ that he decided he really needed to move to NJ, so he did. I had a problem...the same problem with my dryer just a few months later. When Michael came...he couldn't understand why the part that needed to be replaced was the very same part he replaced just a few months earlier. He thought about it and asked me where was the lint duct that exited the house. I brought him outside to show him. He opened it up and said...the duct was packed with lint and that caused the part in the dryer to burn out. He cleaned out the duct...which I'm pretty sure had never been cleaned out. Let me tell you...that duct was PACKED. Michael said I was very lucky the lint inside didn't catch fire. Michael replaced that part again and I never had a problem with after that. Michael charged me very little for that second service call. Not only that but he replaced, for free, the cap to that duct, as mine was broken. He's a reputable businessman...honest, does excellent work and very respectful. Any appliance issues, I call Michael.

Also regarding his response to my prior review, he never offered to come over to get the part number after the model number could not be read. He was about to order the wrong part which cost 100 dollars more. Also stating that i had to give him an answer so he can secure the part from his supplier which would take a few days to get. How does this story end. I ordered the part from an online authorized dealer $173. Part was delivered Monday. Eight screws later and my oven is back up and running. He was in a rush according to my wife. Was on the phone with another customer telling hum he would be right over. If he just would have taken a few minutes to remove the cover the part number was right there (see photo). 92 bucks for absolutely nothing, 10 minutes time. This is also the reason he does not take credit cards. The check was deposited, I'm sure right from his car that night.
