One slice of cheese cake with strawberry tangerine compote.

Little Italy Farmers Market Customer: One of the best cheese cakes in town, it's creamy deliciousness! It's always consistent and taste the same each and every time. We buy strawberries and tangerine juice, and make a compote specifically for this cheese cake! one slice is good for two people.

I tried the cheesecake at little Italy farmers market. This has to be the best basque cheesecake in town! Reasonably priced too.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic, and the drinks were excellent. The staff really made our celebration enjoyable. Everyone was enthusiastic, engaging, and attentive to our group, and they created a fun and welcoming atmosphere for both birthdays. The only downside was that it was extremely hot inside the restaurant. It definitely made things a little uncomfortable and better A/C or airflow would have made the experience even better. Overall, we had a great time celebrating. The combination of authentic food, great drinks, and an awesome staff made it a memorable birthday dinner. We'll definitely be back!

We got there and the hostess told us we could sit outside and that if a table opened up we would move insight. Totally cool we could see inside to the TVs. We had ordered some drinks and bread but a tabled opened up so we got to move which was great!! To eat, we ordered some morcilla and chorizo. For our main, 3 of us shared the parillada which was plenty of food. We also tried an empanada which was pretty good. The fries with the steak was amazing and overall very delicious. No good meal is complete without dessert so we got the milhojas to finish the meal. Yum. Everything at this place was amazing and the staff was just as great which made the experience even better. 10/10

The other day, I got the tri tip sandwich with chimichurri. The order came up quickly. I live a couple of blocks away. By the time I was home, the sandwich was cold. Not lukewarm, not tepid, but cold. But the REALLY disturbing thing was the bun/bread. It fell apart, into large chunks, the minute I opened the paper wrap up. A sandwich has two major components, BREAD and the filler. Can't you have decent fresh bread? This seems to be a challenge lately for the Grand Ole BBQ. A couple of months ago, I got the hot links, and they were served on the most run of the mill, grocery store quality, HAMBURGER bun. LINKS, folks, should be on a hot dog shaped bun, not cut up into small pieces and placed on a cheap, round, bun. I can't decide if this is hipsters, serving food and doing it their way, with whatever happens to be available at the moment, or if this is management saying "we don't care about your expectations." It isn't novel, to put links on a hamburger bun, it doesn't make it artsy, or unique, it makes it look like an afterthought. So does try-tip on a bun that wasn't. And the chimichurri- driest, almost oil-free chimichurri I've ever had, I had to add oil, at home, to be able to spread it. Good chimichurri isn't difficult, I make it all of the time. Make an effort people. Restaurant are closing. Disregarding your customer is one quicker way to meet that end.

I love empanadas and have had these empanadas before when at Pacific Beach open market…read more I kind of stumbled on this place and immediately I knew I wanted some empanadas! Empanadas are stuffed turnovers, originally from Spain and Portugal, and eaten widely across South America, including Argentina, Paraguay and also eaten in Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Phillipines too. They are a delight and delicious! This spot is an Argentinian place and I got 3 empanadas. They have many different stuffed options and I chose a beef, mushroom and spinach as my three. I asked how spicy the spicy beef one is and the very nice lady working said it was about 5/10, so I passed. She said it wad spicy, unfortunately, I cannot handle too spicy. So far, I have eaten the beef and spinach one and like them both. I was given chimichurri sauce, but I dont think I like this version, its a little too lemony for me. I like a more parsley forward chimichurri and this one too sour for me. For 3 empanadas, it was about $11, which isnt too bad! The empanadas are delicious and I will def be back again and again!!

I prefer the spinach, mushroom and beef empanadas. I tried the Malbec beef but it was too mushy and sweet for me. I'll stick with the traditional one, with olives. I lived in S. FL and baked empanadas are everywhere and usually were $1.50 each (now maybe $2.00-$2.50) so it does bug me to pay $4.00 for an empanada. On the other hand, they make a great snack or meal, depending on how many you get. And they are not as easy to find here, especially baked, so I'll keep coming to Parana.
