The keto goods here are amazing and tasty. I measure my ketones with a monitor every morning, and they cause no spikes that would kick me out of ketosis. I live in Chula Vista, but it's worth the drive up to have treats for the week. Their staff is super helpful if you need suggestions on anything.

7/13/2025- we dropped in Saturday night. And couldn't buy anything since we had dinner plans there with friends at a local eatery. Mark gave us a coupon for $5 off a purchase of $25 or more. We came today around 2pm. We grabbed about $50 of items, a Oreo cookie donut, a blueberry crumb slice, a carrot cake donut, honey ice cream and more. All was delicious and we will be going back. We took everything home and enjoyed it. Very clean and organized. Mark was very helpful and gave us a few items to sample as well. Going to get the vegan chocolate next time. See photos. Sugar free! Some are gluten free and Keto. My type 2 friend loved everything. The prices were from $5 to $9. Enjoy. We did. We will be going back for sure. Please try 5 stars for sure.

I found this spot through an app I'm subscribed to, which offers community perks in exchange for a monthly fee, and this place was one of the featured options. I got a Paleo muffin, which came in two servings. As a fitness coach who's pretty health-conscious, I appreciated the focus on nutrition. That said, the muffin didn't have a ton of flavor. They do have other options that looked really tempting, like donuts and peanut butter balls. The peanut butter balls especially caught my eye. The protein donuts are around eight or nine dollars, which feels a little pricey, but I'm definitely planning to go back and try the protein balls. There's parking directly across from the shop, which made things easy, and the employee who helped me was super friendly and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be recommending this place to some of my clients with autoimmune conditions or stricter diets.

While browsing around Normal Heights we decided to stop into Paleo Treats. The shop has a wide variety of gluten free, vegan, paleo or keto treats to choose from. No artificla sweeteners are hsed at all. The employee working there was super friendly telling us about different products and gave us a taste test of the smiley face chocolate. We got one of the pistachio mouse cups to try that satisfied all the cravings of a Dubai chocolate bar but tasted healthy. The prices are a little elevated for the serving sizes but I think that comes along with the high quality of ingredients that are being used.

    Paleo Treats' Triple Berry Cake...delish!

Today is my birthday, and my husband surprised me with a full-day retreat filled with thoughtful stops--including a visit to Paleo Treats for my favorite Triple Berry birthday cake! Lee went above and beyond by packing it in an insulated box with an ice pack to keep it perfectly chilled throughout our adventure. Thank you, Lee, for adding such a special touch to an unforgettable day!

I saw this place online and decided to try it. I have multiple food intolerances so it's difficult for me to find sweet teats that won't upset my stomach. I love how minimal ingredients they use and the dessert is sooo good. Mark was extremely informative and super kind. I will be coming back!

The All Star Real Food Cookbook! Loving ourselves is our first responsibility. this cookbook is incredible. I bought one for my daughters and my favorite is Page 50. See the photo! Paleo Treats is pitching for our health, our well being and our creative promises. It starts with the quality of our food, and then we determine our pursuits with a sound mind and body. The service at Paleo Treats is like coming home from a long day at work and you feel the love, the world recedes and its back to joy and the divine. This is my kind of place and my kind of people. Nowhere else I want to be. Oh, and when you get there, try a Bandito. You are welcome.

I tried their cookie dough and carrot cake cupcake, and they were both delicious! I ended up just eating the cookie dough as is, and it was really good that way. The service was also amazing; he was super friendly and gave me recommendations of which ones I should get.

One of the coolest stores I have seen lately. I have to confess I stepped into just to check the art, amazing style, love everything the I saw there and that was painted or created by the owner (I think most of the pieces were on sale). Then is when I saw the myriad of goodies paleo and gluten free and got several items to try out. Everything delicious and great quality and ingredients. You can tell all they do is very carefully curated. These desserts are equally healthy and beautiful!

If you are health conscious and enjoy sweets then this is a good place to check out. Paleo Treats offers gluten-free, dairy-free, and plant-based options. I love that they are very open on what they have in their foods and use mostly clean ingredients. I found this place while my trip in San Diego and had to stop in. I ended up getting their Bandito and Mustang which looks to a huge peanut butter cup and tastes like a cross of a peanut butter cup and a cookie. I enjoyed both. The girl at the counter explained to me that they were very nutrition dense. They had many different flavors. Besides their bars they also had breads, brownies, muffins, and cakes. The shop is small but is filled with lots of cute items for sale. The food items are a little pricey but it is a speciality and worth the money.

Key lime Key Lime Mini Hug Cake (1) Nandito Lil' Bitz Churro donut cookbook

(Tummy) safe to say I'm obsessed! Shoutout to Mark for his friendliness, attentiveness, and helpfulness. I have to go back to buy 10 more churro donuts they were delicious! I am so immensely grateful to have found this gem. My body appreciates gluten free, grain free, and dairy free food, and paleo treats has all of it. Also, the ambiance was so cute they sell cute little gifts/trinkets which was a plus.

Yes! A vegan and or paleo dessert place! I'm lactose intolerant so vegan desserts save me when it comes to sweets. When I first saw the word Paleo on the window I didn't think much as paleo does use dairy, but then I kept walking and saw that they also have vegan desserts. I made a beeline for this after after seeing that. There were a couple of yummy choices, but I opted for the triple berry dessert in the glass jar. I was eyeing the vegan ice cream bar, but told myself I would just have to come back. Loved the triple berry! I don't like overly sweet drinks or desserts so this was perfect. If you like your desserts to be sweet sweet please note this. Loved that the berry flavor came through, but didn't have that overpowering tartey taste. I wish the size was a little bigger as it was so good! Definitely coming back to try their key lime and tiramisu. The shop also sees other food items for purchase. I saw coconut yogurt, vegan nacho cheese, vegan goat cheese and some other goodies. Glad I came across these dessert gem. Will be going back pretty soon.

I ended up getting a vegan almond croissant and a vegan chocolate hazelnut rolled croissant, both of which were ridiculously good. The almond croissant was nice and flaky yet still buttery inside, and the almond filling was lovely. However my favorite was definitely the rolled croissant, the hazelnut creme inside was so light and creamy and when taken in a bite with the croissant and chocolate shell coating was heavenly. They had so many other options that looked incredible, in particular if I came back I would definitely want to try the vegan kouign amann. The inside is cute and has a small amount of seating, however the place is quite busy and fills up very fast. Me and my friend were lucky to get there early and be able to claim a table, and so they plated the pastries for us quite nicely and heated up her pizza croissant. Everyone we interacted with was lovely. This place is actually perfection I cannot recommend enough.

We went during a busy day so a lot of their options were running out so we were lucky to get a chocolate almond croissant and a vegan almond croissant. My friend was also able to get a vegan chocolate croissant to go (which she told me she enjoyed after our night out of drinking haha). I am going to come back to this place because I loved it. I also tried the our vegan croissant order and I seriously will not be able to tell (but we trust the kind staff!). Amazing service despite a busy Friday early afternoon.

It's packed with unique home goods, chic trinkets, and aesthetic lifestyle items. Be sure to wander all the way to the back shelves--there are so many hidden gems worth taking home! The staff upfront and on the floor were incredibly warm, welcoming, and happy to chat while you browse. As you head toward the back, the space opens up into a dream of a café. One of the cutest touches is being able to actually watch the bakers rolling out fresh dough and crafting pastries right before your eyes. The smell of rich espresso and buttery pastry crust filling the air is irresistible. I grabbed a coffee and a fresh pastry, waited a short bit for a table on the patio, and pulled out my journal. Listening to the ambient music and ocean breeze in the courtyard while writing was pure heaven. Whether you're stopping in to shop for home decor, grab a top-tier espresso, or just soak in the slow, luxurious rhythm of La Jolla, this place is perfection.
