Chicken katsu sando 5/5: my favorite. I love the spicy mustardy sauce not sure if it's in the actual brown katsu sauce or separate mustard. My bf didnt like it but i loved it! Chicken also juicy and soft. The milk bread is so fluffy and lil sweet and perfect pairing. Crunchy Honey Toast - this was my favorite. I could have eaten a whole plate of these. I would go back just for this. Sausage Pastry- this was my roommate's favorite. He LOVED it. I felt meh about it. The garlic baguette was incredible. Potato and cheese pastry- we all loved. I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't whole little potatoes inside. They were super tender and it was one of my favorite things. Strawberry cream croissant - perfectly airy and very strawberry filled. The chocolate mousse was the exact mouth feel needed to separate the rich layers of chocolate cake. I saw, I conquered, and I was yet again impressed by what Extraordinary Desserts so purposefully and gracefully offered. This is just below the price for an Extraordinary Desserts cake slice, which is not only bigger and more complex, but also made fresh. We noticed the crepe cake slice we got had that dusting of ice sparkles, indicating it was frozen and defrosting, and additionally, as it defrosted, the more it started leaning. If you haven't tried Yiko Yiko, it's worth still checking out. That said, I think you'll be satisifed after one or two visits.

The portions are generous for the price and they don't skimp on the fillings. The only one I would pass on would be the lumpia roll. They have chairs outside so you can sit and soak in the beautiful San Diego sun. The chocolate croissant was pretty amazing! You can see all the delicious buttery layers!
