It pains me to write a two-star review. I brought in three watches (my son's Stuhrling, my aunt's Piaget, and my cheapie Instagram Stardust watch for a simple battery replacement). The owner wasn't wearing a mask while she chatted with one of her customers who was also unmasked. Luckily, the employee who came out from the back to help me was masked. I gave her the three watches. It's $10 to replace each battery which seems like a fair price including the battery especially since I don't have the tool to remove the watch cover especially on the Stuhrling and Piaget. As I take a seat to wait for my watch battery replacements, the owner and the customer proceed to have a very loud conversation denigrating the vaccine and those who wear masks. My heart started to break listening to them because I just lost someone I love who is very near and dear to my heart due to Covid. I wish they would have been more sensitive to understand that some of us have been affected by this virus in ways they haven't. The watch battery replacements were done relatively quickly (about 10 minutes or so) but not before I listened to their views on masks and how stupid everyone is for wearing one and how they did think anyone who gets the vaccine is an idiot. This made me feel pretty bad and opened up a lot of fresh wounds. I've stayed away from most businesses and other places to avoid this kind of hurtful conversation and sadly, the one time I go out - this is what I'm subjected to. They did what I needed them to do but because I had to go to my car and cry after hearing the owner and her customer's conversation, I can't give them any future business. It's unfortunate as my husband and I are coming up on our 10 year vow renewal and wanted to have new rings. :( I'm really really sad to write this review. Please, please be sensitive to your customers and what they might be going through. read more

Alfredo's Jewelry is a wonderful place. I brought my wedding ring in because Jared's told me that my stone was loose and that I needed to have the head replaced immediately, for $230. I brought it to Alfredo's and they looked at it and told me that the prongs were thin, but that I could wait a few months. And they quoted me $130 for the same work! Two years ago, Terri made my daughter's wedding ring out of stones from my father-in-law's ring and made a replica of my mother-in-law's wedding ring. I initially happened upon Alfredo's while looking for a jeweler to size my wedding ring down. They quoted me a very reasonable price for the job and the quality of their work was spectacular! I was so pleased with my ring that I went back to see if they would be able to size my fiancé's wedding ring up. Not only did they quote me yet again another reasonable rate, they actually charged me less than the quote upon pickup, and their work was still nothing short of absolutely superb. On top of that, their customer service is fantastic. They are very warm and welcoming and treat you like longtime friends. WORST JEWELER IN TOWN.... I purchased a ring from my Jewler in California and brought it in to get resized... Something as simple as that and thought I could trust them to do it... They seem like a trustworthy Jewler... So I thought. When I went back to pick up my ring the Jewler in the process had scratched the glass on the ring they said that they would fix it.. When I came back almost a month and a half later my beautiful ring was ruined. I got it back with the jewlers finger print on the inside of the glass and epoxy visible on the glass... When I complained and told them they need to fix or replace my ring the response I got was "you would have damaged it anyway"... I was pissed and grabbed my ring and left... The flair came with some weird coating that needed to be removed before I could attack it with some Never Dull. Poor customer service. They replaced the Crystal on my watch a few months ago. The Crystal popped off right at the end of a flight I was on recently. I brought it back to the store for them to replace and they refused to fix it without charging me the same cost again to replace it. They told me the watch had been dropped - which is why they claimed the Crystal came off. The watch was on my wrist when it happened. I don't appreciate being told I'm a liar - particularly to cover their faulty repair work. I took it to another jeweler who actually ended up being half the cost of what Alfredo's charges.
