Alfredo's is a great pizza spot in the neighborhood. The service is always great. Conveniently located in the heart of Hillcrest.

Four slices and 2 beers under $30 in this economy. Thanks to Rafi for making our day you are the best! He was super attentive and sweet. The spinach ricotta pizza was incredible!

Love their pizza. They also have pasta dishes. I recommend the chicken parmigiana. Good portion and it is delicious.

I was just taking a walk through the neighborhood but the smell of pizza made me turn back to find out where it was coming from & I gotta tell you, as soon as I walked in Ray was on top of it, greeted and welcomed me immediately & answered all my questions about their deals and his favorite menu items. I ended up with the pasta & beer special, I had the Arrabiata pasta and if you're a fan of spicy; this is the ONE for you! I was obsessed within the first taste of the sauce ‍ All in all, they've got great service, AMAZING deals (I had a generous serving of pasta w/ garlic bread and a beer for $20 ) and great quality food. 10/10 would recommend

Stromboli, inside

Though there's clearly a late night slice crowd, eating at a normal dinner time is kinda fun too. They have booths, so it feels like a real pizzeria. Plus it's nice getting it fresh out of the oven, instead of waiting for it to cool with delivery or take out. Stromboli: Surprisingly very good, considering stromboli is hard for pizzerias to get right. Lots of great meat slices. Lots of cheese. Rolled over a few times in a nice dough. Love the generous amount of sauce given to dip this in. Meat Lovers (X-Large): So many different types of meats! I think they might have even added ones that weren't listed on the menu. It's a little heavy with all the toppings, so hard to eat holding. Instead of using a fork and knife, I kinda just lifted the plate to my mouth and slid a corner over the edge to eat. Though by the time you get closer to the crust, it can be lifted. Very filling and very tasty!

10/10 comfort food done right. The wings were perfectly crispy, tossed in a bold, saucy buffalo sauce (but you also need to try their house made salt and pepper wings) !!! The pizza was cheesy with a cheese pull! and cooked just right with a great crust. The service is PERFECT! Very fast and speedy. You can just tell everything was made with care. Coming back here for sure!

After a night of burlesque and goth-ing pizza is the perfect choice. Alfredo's succeeded in epic style. Friendly, casual well-lit and clean. I requested an unholy amount of pepperoni and they came through. 10/10 highly recommend.

After our spending the day outside with the family outing, we had a late night craving for pizza. We try to order from local favorites, when traveling. This came with great reviews and didn't have a long wait. Using UberEats, we had this delivered in less than an hour. The food was super hot - like they just pulled it from the oven. Pizza was okay while the w spaghetti was a bit better. Overall, we've had better pizza from other nearby places but this place wasn't bad. They did forget to give us our ranch dressing, so I can't give a full rating on the salad. This is a good place to order/eat from but there are better. If you want the food quickly and hot, give Alfredo's a try.

I was a bit hesitant because I typically cook my noodles IN the sauce versus topping them with sauce but this meal did not disappoint. Both the meat in the ravioli and sauce were very flavorful. The garlic bread was typical but still really tasty. The waitress was nice and hospitable. The ambiance was nice. The restaurant is located in the back of what looks like a store in front. I appreciate a nice whole in the wall, mom & pop shop. I'd definitely return next time I'm in SD.

The spinach raviolis were excellent--flavorful, perfectly cooked, and definitely the highlight of my meal. Unfortunately, the veal was a major disappointment. It was extremely tough and difficult to cut and chew. I ended up leaving almost the entire entrée on my plate because I simply couldn't enjoy it. My husband and I both commented that it didn't have the tenderness or delicate texture we normally associate with veal. True veal should be tender, fine-grained, and easy to cut with a fork, but this was quite the opposite. Based on this experience, I would not order another meat entrée from this restaurant. It's unfortunate because the ravioli showed that the kitchen is capable of preparing excellent food. I hope the restaurant will review the quality of the meat it serves, as it made an otherwise pleasant visit very disappointing.

We began…read morethe meal with the mini fried calzones with mozzarella and tomato sauce inside and they were great. You could tell the bread was super fresh and high quality so I would recommend it. Next, we got a glass of prosecco. I told the waiter that I only like wine that tastes much more sweet then bitter or strong and he made a perfect suggestion along with giving us a sampler of 3 different wines which was so generous. I got to try them all and pick the one I liked the most, but even the samples were a generous size. For main course I got one of the current options for the cheese wheel pasta they make in front of you in cacio e pepe and my husband got the formaggi pizza with truffle mushrooms. My husband absolutely loved his pizza and the crust was one of the best he's ever had. My pasta was fresh and had a ton of sauce and cream so they didn't skimp at all. I could tell easily that they use very high quality Parmesan because i'm a Parmesan connoisseur and could taste how potent it was. They let me have as much extra as I wanted on without limiting since I enjoy a lot on it which was also a plus in my book. Next time I would get a pasta that's a little lighter, because it was a more heavy dish and it tends to make me feel pretty full after which is totally a me thing, but they have so much on the menu to try that I'm sure I'll love whatever I get even more next time. Lastly, dessert. We got a regular tiramisu and it was absolutely amazing. They put a ton of cream which is exactly what I look for. It wasn't too espresso or cocoa strong and had a perfect ratio. The cream was so light and fluffy that we had to get another one to bring home and eat tomorrow night! I had seen a previous review on here about someone not liking the tiramisu here and it not meeting their expectations for a more upscale Italian place but I've been to quite a few authentic Italian gems and this one had tiramisu up there so I'd have to disagree and completely recommend! The service was impeccable. Every waiter was kind and prompt, constantly making sure we were taken care of and getting what we needed. The atmosphere was also a plus for us because we have a 1 year old baby and there was enough room where we weren't too cramped or crowded in, and it wasn't too loud or overstimulating. The place was very clean and taken care of as well as the bathrooms. All in all, I loved this place and I will be coming back. I would definitely recommend Monello for a nice little date night, and don't forget the tiramisu.

Oh wow, what a great find! Hubby and I had a plan to park…read morenearby and choose a spot to eat just by the vibe and ambience. It was a Friday evening and every restaurant on the street was full and vibrant. You could Yelp these places all day long and it would be hard to choose. There's so many great restaurants around Little Italy. Mimmo's reached out and called us in. There were pretty white tablecloths, the hostess was smiling ready to answer any questions and of course, the menu looked wonderful. Voilà! We'd found our spot. Our waiter was so personable and had all the answers to our inquiries. He suggested items and even answered honestly when needed. I got a Le Pécora Nera Sangria (fizzy blackberry with lemon). Tasty, but too many blackberry seeds coming up the straw. I'd get another one next time. For the appetizers: RISOTTO ARANCINI (a MUST get) - these were absolutely delicious. Four good size bread crumbed fried balls of risotto sitting in the restaurant's own tomato gravy. HOMEMADE FOCACCIA WITH DIPPING OIL (yes, that's the official name) - this is a basket of super soft, warm focaccia bread for a great price. I would get it no matter what main course you're getting! It soaks up every sauce and it's just delicious. MAIN: BAKED LASAGNA (meat) - with the two appetizers this is the perfect size for both of us. No need to get one per person! It was absolutely wonderful. I would get it again. All in all, I'd definitely go back. The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful and the employees we came in contact with were great as well. We didn't want to sit at a table right next to the hundreds of people walking by, I don't like that, but there are plenty other options one row in or inside the restaurant. A solid recommendation on my part.

It's right in the heart of Little Italy on India Street in between all of the other wonderful Italian restaurants. When we walked up. They have patio seating as well as inside dining. We decided to do inside dining as it was starting to get chilly outside. We were immediately seated by a wonderful hostess, and that made a positive impression upon us. The whole hostess staff had great smiles on their faces and they were very welcoming. After about two minutes of sitting down, our server came to ask us if we needed time to look over the menu. We said yes but that we wanted a Foccacia Bread table starter. She smiled and immediately went to put the order in. A few few minutes later she came back and we ordered our drinks for dinner: Raspberry Italian Soda, Orange Crush with Fresh Cream on top, and a non-alcoholic spritz. After we got our drinks and sip on them, it took us a bit of time to decide what we wanted. We all know that the burger here is fantastic! However, this evening, we decided to try new things. We ordered: Pappardelle Bolognese with Added Meatballs, Pappardelle Bolognese as it is normally prepared, and a Caesar salad with shrimp added. Our food was out within about 10 to 15 minutes and everything was prepared perfectly. I have to say that we really enjoyed dining in this location and we may need to come back here more instead of traveling to the Del Mar location sometimes. Our server was super customer service oriented and we appreciated her. She went above and beyond to get the orange crush drink to be unique like an Italian soda for my daughter. We were super stuffed and could not do dessert, but we did promise to come back to enjoy the lava cake at a future time. Overall, this was an excellent visit and we appreciate the staff in the great energy that we received at this location. I do highly recommend it.

While I appreciated the hospitality, I don't see myself returning for the cuisine.
