Elise and Judy are wonderful cleaners. They completed a full deep cleaning of my floors and other parts of the house, and everything was exceptionally well done. The house had been quite dirty, including areas behind furniture, and they moved everything as needed to ensure a thorough cleaning of the floors and hidden spaces. They were very accommodating, polite, and helpful throughout the entire process, and their customer service was truly outstanding. Anything I asked them to do, they did with a smile. They even cleaned the insides of closets as part of the deep cleaning--something I didn't even realize was included. There were also a few tasks that were technically outside the scope of the deep cleaning, such as the inside of a very dirty TV cabinet, and they handled those requests without any complaint at all. When I requested some extra wiping on a few storage containers, they went above and beyond and cleaned all the remaining containers and furniture as well. The garage is now sparkling and hasn't been this clean in at least a decade. They also carefully moved boxes and appliances that couldn't get wet, making sure nothing was damaged while they washed down the garage. The orocess to book them was thorough, but maybe a little complex (involved Yelp app, text, email and a phone call) but they are responsive and good communicators. The team of two showed up close to on time (my experience is that cleaning services do not show up on the minute). 10:20 for a 10am window is as good as I've seen - something to keep in mind when you're comparing. The pair of cleaners brought their own gear and were professional in their approach. The results are excellent - as clean as it's gonna get - and now I can call the carpet cleaners. This was our second time using Alf's Magic Maids, and once again they (Pamela and Rebecca this time) did a wonderful job. I appreciate how easily I can select what I need and book the cleaning through their website. The cleaners we had used before were phone or text only, and it was challenging to customize or confirm. I also like that they had more than one person come both times. I think the price is very reasonable and worth it. They charge just a little extra for pets, but it's again very reasonable and understandable. My place was in need of a deep cleaning, and found Alf's through Yelp. Communication was really prompt within the app, and easy to schedule an appointment. Though I'm sure some appreciate the option to tip via credit card on the site, for me personally, I'd rather tip after seeing the results, plus giving it to the employee in person. I booked a deep clean and carpet cleaning, and the cleaning duo came promptly at the beginning of the hour window. They finished in about 2 hours (2 bedroom/2 bathroom) and I was impressed with how they neatly organized my things. I do think some details were missed in the process, but both were very friendly. I was a little confused as to when the carpet cleaning was supposed to happen, and about an hour and half later, he arrived. I would note this in the future so you can allot the time to be home, as I thought it would be done back to back. The carpet cleaning was pretty quick, though doing this in the rainy winter season and broken heater upstairs wasn't the best idea as it took quite some time to fully dry.
