After using QC's services for nearly two years, we've decided to move on. 1 - Their cleaning materials were too strong and bleachy smelling. 2 - Oftentimes instructions weren't followed or the team would do things that defied cleaning common sense and would create more work for us (like putting trash in recycling bins) 3 - They tried to hike up our cleaning costs with sloppily defined reasons. I will spare the details here, but when I debunked their reasons with hard evidence, they ultimately reneged the higher cost proposal, but didn't apologize. This rubbed me the wrong way and unfortunately, that's when I decided I was done. The cleaning services, besides the smell and odd lack of common sense stuff, were good. This review is SO long over due. Moving is super stressful no matter if you are prepared or not. When moving at the end of last year I was so exhausted there wasn't any way I was going to have energy to clean the house after everything was moved out, but I wanted my security deposit back. I had lived in the house for 4 years so lots of dirt in the books and crannies. I requested a quote and got it back pretty quickly. Since I had called only 3 days before I was due to hand over my keys I didn't know if they would be able to fit me in. Lucky for me, they could. They came out the next day which was a Sunday and cleaned our 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. They did the carpet, windows, fridge, stove, everything! It looked amazing and they did it all in under 2 hours. I cannot remember the exact price but it was between $250 and $300 which may sound expensive to some but the peace of mind was worth every penny! I cried when I walked in because I was so relieved. I got the quote over the phone and Maria was able to give me an appointment over the weekend to make sure we meet our move-in timelines. I would like to add that the quote provided over the phone was based on an hourly rate. The approximate quote was for about 4 hours of work, but 3 hours into the job the work was barely 50% done. We ended up negotiating with the supervisor to make sure they give us a flat rate for the complete job irrespective of the total number of hours. I have been using QualiClean for several years. They are reliable and responsive. I appreciate that even though I am on a monthly cleaning schedule that I am able to adjust the cleaning date whenever needed via text message. This makes it so much easier to schedule my monthly clean for when I know I'll have guests or people over to the house. The prices are always reasonable but, perhaps most importantly, the cleaners who show up are so sweet and are always happy to accommodate us when we work from home (they will clean rooms in a helpful order so we can work and move out of their way as needed). I have used several cleaning services in this area but QualiClean is the best. No business should increase the price or service (change order) without getting authorization from the owner. They offered a measly 10% discount versus the unauthorized additional charges. I ordered a one time deep cleaning service for my house. Overall I'm not satisfied with this purchase. 1. They forgot something I asked and did some work that I didn't ask. a) In my email with the manager, I said I don't need bedrooms to be cleaned but only bath and kitchen. Also at the first moment they come into my house, I told them again, actually twice, they just nodded with smile. I thought they knew what to do. They started with the two bathrooms upstairs, then I went out for a walk for an hour. During this time they cleaned the four bedrooms, which I did not needed. b) They left the oven uncleaned at all! 2. Communication is difficult. The two cleaners don't speak English. I learned this not from the manager beforehand, but from my experience with them. 3. Cleanness is OK but not flawless. The upper edge of the sliding door in the shower room is not cleaned. The black mold stains in the bath are still there. The tile in the shower room is not cleaned. They left a few dust scrumbles here and there. OVEN IS NOT CLEANED AT ALL. 4. Payment is unclear beforehand. They don't accept checks. You need to pay 3% processing fee if you pay by card. They did not let me know before the service. Overall I feel I paid a lot but did not get what I expected. read more

Just bought a house. Prior to move in, the kitchen and family room were undergoing renovation, and so those two rooms were closed off to the rest of the house. I called QC and asked for a very deep deep clean of our empty house. Because I am a germaphobe, I asked that every inch of every surface be cleaned, and was assured they would do so. Again, because a big part of the house was completely closed off, they only had to clean 3 empty bedrooms, 2 empty bathrooms, an empty dining room, and an empty living room. House was professionally cleaned when put up for sale, so it just needed a once over to clean after the open houses. Maria was very nice, and even scheduled the cleaning to start at 6am to accommodate our move in later that day. Two cleaners arrived on time. I let them in and left to get ready for our move. I returned at about 5pm for the move in. Unfortunately, most of the house they were to clean was untouched. In no way shape or form was this a "deep clean", let alone a standard cleaning. Worst part, I was told the cleaners were here 3.25 hours. Considering how dirty the place still was and the small area of the house that they were responsible for cleaning, there is no way they were here actually cleaning for 3 hours. At best, maybe an hour, considering the number of dirty/untouched areas depicted in the attached pictures. Standard simple things, such as wiping down shelves and a bathroom door were not done. Baseboards left untouched. Mold remaining in the shower grout. Dust on top of trim. I called Maria to let her know, and she did offer to send them back again or to reduce our invoice. Not only did I lose confidence that they would rectify the situation, but considering the cleaners were dishonest in the amount of time they cleaned, I could not allow them back into my home and feel comfortable about it. Additionally, because we had already moved in and our stuff was everywhere, I just couldn't agree to bring them back. Accordingly, I chose the price reduction. At the end of the day, I ended up paying $250 for a no good job and my house was still unclean. While I appreciate Maria's kindness on the phone, I cannot and will not be doing business w QC again. Despite their claims, the crew sent did a horrible job, assuming they did anything at all. read more
