Recently, though, life has been extremely hectic, and cleaning has definitely dropped down my priority list. After days of searching on Google and Yelp, I came across Daniele's cleaning company. The reviews and before-and-after photos convinced me to give them a try. I didn't hire them for a deep clean, but the quality of work Daniele provided was comparable to one and surprisingly close to how I clean myself. One anecdote I love sharing: when we recently moved to our new home, we had some light fixtures changed. We have globe lights over our dining table, and I genuinely thought the glass had a frosted finish straight out of the box. But when Anderson (Daniele's husband) started cleaning, he actually removed the globes and washed them thoroughly. Turns out they're clear glass, not frosted :P I'll be hiring this amazing team regularly and hope to maintain this relationship for a long time. Hire them for absolutely excellent quality of work and the most wonderful people to work with.

Manager Stephanie's communication is great, and she also visited once to do a quality control inspection after the clean. Owner Davlyn isn't afraid to roll up her sleeves and cover a cleaning when they are temporarily short staffed. Maybe due to the numerous (well-earned) high reviews here, there can be a wait list for new clients. It's worth the wait, especially if you are looking for recurring cleans every 1, 2 or 4 weeks. They're very thorough about understanding a new client's needs and ensuring that they have enough staff to maintain the quality of cleaning before taking on another client. They care very much about their clients, and it shows! The team even sent us a baby card after our newborn arrived home from the hospital! We are moving to the East Bay later this year, which unfortunately is outside of the ACS service area, so congrats to the next person to get our spot! We hope to be back in the South Bay sometime in the future if the housing market calms down, and will be looking to get back on the client list at that point!

My wife had a brain tumor which affected her vision. I had multiple strokes making it hard to move around. Long story short, the house was getting a little messy.... A staff of 3 came at the appointment time and finished within 3 hours. Overall they did a good job. Most of the areas they cleaned were done well. They did miss some of the instructions I gave Sandra, so I don't know if the staff got the memo. When I reported that to Sandra, she just apologized and didn't offer to rectify. They also worked around my pet areas, which I thought felt kind of half a$$. So like half the wall was cleaned. A few minor things were thrown away, so I needed to buy replacements, which was a little annoying. Like others mentioned in their reviews, they didn't put things back the way they were. If that bothers you, don't go with these folks cuz it will drive you crazy. Price is relatively cheap I think, so maybe I got what I paid for. Not sure if I'll use them again.

Overall, they did alright but there were some frustrating things during each of the cleanings; some consistent and others just negligent. Summary: - They don't help with organizing. So I end up having to clean up after the cleaners leave to put everything back. - They don't put things back where they were. (e.g. we have child locks around and I spent half the day after the first cleaning searching for the key) - They rush through the cleanings (e.g. forget to empty the trash bins in the kitchen, unhook ceiling vents to clean them but don't hook them back in, left some dirty rags in the bathroom, wipe the floors but if there's anything sticky like a piece of candy they just leave it...and the worst was putting non-oven-safe pans in the oven and accidentally turning the oven on while cleaning) - If they need help with cleaning something, they don't bother asking. They just don't clean it. For example, our diaper pail is a little tricky to remove the garbage bag. They've never asked me how to remove it. So I ended up just putting it in the main trash bin before they arrived so they can take it out. - After the first deep cleaning, I asked what they could help with cleaning regularly and they let me know what they can/can't do. Yet every regular cleaning, they always forgot something that we had agreed they could take care of. There's something about cleaning up after the cleaners leave that just doesn't seem right. So after the 3rd regular cleaning, we decided to part ways. If you're looking for a cleaner that will do a thorough job, communicate honestly with you, and be thoughtful and respectful of your home, I'm not confident this is it.
