    What a strange service call :( We received a note in the mail that it was time to service our water system. Since they helped us get the system up and running after purchasing the home, we decided to let them come change the filters. We set an appointment (the old between 9:00 am and 11:00 am) and John arrived early. That's always a bonus. I was in the computer room, and I heard 'that's not good' I walked into the kitchen and the technician was filling out forms and the faucet was leaking. I looked at him and asked what was going on. He looked up and said in an aggressive tone 'what do you mean' I pointed at the faucet and said, well the faucet is leaking, and I would like to know what is going on. And the more aggressive tone the guy said 'I changed the filters in the garage, I changed the filters under the sink, I'm filling out the paperwork and I'll look at that when I'm done.' I was abit shocked at the aggressive response and said: Hey, you are a professional, you should be able to explain a simple problem when a customer sees something wrong.' So he said in a slow, stiff tone: 'I Changed The Filters, The faucet Started Leaking. I'll Check It when I'm Done Sir. That was just a strange response. So, he messed around and fiddle around and then said they were two types of systems, and the way mine was hooked up to sometimes it leaks while it's filling as he had flushed the tank. He said either that or I knock something loose because I know it was working when I got here. He offered just to replace the faucet, said since it was probably his fault, that there was no charge. I let him replace the faucet. After he was done, I asked if he was having a hard day. He said no, it's another beautiful day in paradise. I told him I was just wondering why his response was so aggressive, he said 'I apologize for that' and then headed me a $366 service bill... So I called the office, first talk to the office manager. She said I should talk to Chris who is one of the owners. Chris was the person who came out last time and I gave such a stellar review because he was amazing. He said he would talk to John and review the bill and get back to me the next day. Chris called me the next morning and basically didn't have much to add. He said the $366 to change four filters ($99 just to show up and then 30 minutes labor to change the filters) was within the correct range. Also he put it out that I was not charged labor or parts for John to change out the Fossett. But there was nothing wrong with the Fossett when John arrived. One nice thing Chris did offer: he offered to reduce the price if I felt it was not fair. But I told him, if it was the correct price, there was no need to adjust the $366. I just wanted to make sure. As for the technician being aggressive, Chris had nothing to add. He said for five years that was never a complaint. I let chris know that I did have video surveillance and he could review it. But he didn't see the need just apologized and thanked me for being a good customer. Just chalk it up to a fluke? No idea why, but we can all have a bad day. It won't prevent me from using them regularly and I look forward to continuing a good relationship with them.

    We ultimately did not use this company but we had a wonderful experience with the sales associate that came out to the home.

    Our home warranty sent a plumber out, who I'll review separately, to diagnose and fix a basement…read morebathroom that stopped drawing. They said it was a mainline issue and we would have to find someone else. Based on Yelp reviews we called the Plumbing Doctor and had an appointment the next day. As it turns out the basement doesn't go to the mainline but goes through an ejector tank & pump up to the mainline. It took Dave about 3 minutes to diagnose the problem as a failed pump. He basically cleared the schedule the next day, had the pump replaced and we're back in business. Communicated through the whole process. Even though dealing with sewage in our basement the job was done spotlessly with a very thorough clean up. Pricing seems very reasonable though we didn't shop around. I'll give this locally owned small business a call every time and just skip my home warranty in the future. Much less headache for a reasonable price.

I HIGHLY doubt you do that when you visit your white client's homes. I was also very welcoming and friendly to both of you. If you guys don't want to work with non-white customers, just add a sign to your business that clearly states "WHITES ONLY". ------------------------------------ ORIGINAL REVIEW: I don't even know how to address this, but here it goes: Do you guys demand payment upfront before even assessing the clogs from ALL your clients? When I opened the door, both technicians looked at me up and down and asked first if it was an apartment and told me they couldn't work here, to which I asked "why tho?" And the sir replied "because you have to let property management know, who's gonna pay?" as if thinking we weren't paying? I mean that's exactly why we called you, because WE WANTED TO PAY TO FIX OUR PROBLEM. Then after telling them that we of course were paying (hello?), before even assessing the clog, payment was demanded, and they didn't start until payment was confirmed. The other guy wouldn't even acknowledge me or respond to me when I made him a direct question. I'm not calling it racism, but it very well felt like I was being racially profiled. Yes, they fixed the problem and I'm very thankful for that, but the experience was very awkward. If you guys tell me that's your MO with ALL your clients and you ask for the payment first before even starting, I'll consider editing rating and review.

    Five star service from Gardner, water service and Water pros!…read more We have an aged out system from another supplier in the market and decided to make a change to the more modern electronic system from Clack. Our awesome friend from the well company referred us to Chris at Gardner's water service and and we scheduled an appointment for a same-day install and quote job and couldn't be happier. The work was done in an incredibly professional fashion, and in a very timely manner. There was no attempt at an upsell that would have resulted in additional equipment and everything that was installed was very well explained so that we knew exactly what we needed to do to operate it properly and maintain it After the install, they remained available for prompt responses by email and text to help us get the system working in optimum fashion. As far as costs go, they were right in line with everybody else except they go the extra mile and use better quality components to set up the plumbing so that it doesn't require ongoing maintenance and provide the right products for your filtration needs the first time. They also were able to install the system so that if we did need anything additional, we could just add it on in the future. Overall, very happy with the experience here and the prompt service received, and will definitely be recommending gardeners in the future .

I was not sold on the osmosis at first, but man- it's the best tasting water I've ever had. I used to think Starbucks quadruple filtered water was the best, but now it tastes like tap! This company is family owned and reliable. The husband (forgot his name! Chris?) comes out and answers everything! They answer questions and walk you through it all. Also, their prices are really great. It's true that companies will MATCH their price, but just go through this company. They deserve it.
