The whole staff was very friendly and always checking in to make sure I was okay during the service. The space was very clean and the temperature was perfect for this hot weather, they even play spa relaxing music at times. She operates by appointment so your time is yours. She was very welcoming and took her time shaping my brows. She also finished with a quick cool forehead massage. What I liked the most was that she left me with brows! I have very thin brows and most threaders take off too much with no real shape. However I was pleased to see that my brows actually looked fuller with a beautiful shape I could easily fill in. I highly recommend Neelu's services!

When I asked her to fix the right side because it wasn't arched, she told me it was arched and walked away. While waxing my forehead, the a new employee pulled out a chunk of hair from the side of my forehead. I was wearing a ponytail so the bald spot is very apparent. I immediately asked to end the service. I told the owner I will not be paying for the wax but will pay for the eyebrow threading. At first the owner told me that I should've told the lady before the wax that I don't want my baby hairs pulled (this is common sense, and my baby hairs have never been pulled in the 10 years I have been getting this service done). The owner apologized but demanded that I to pay in full. I even asked for a discount instead. I was YELLED AT over and over again in front of other clients demanding that I pay because "there is nothing she can do but apologize." I have never been treated with more disrespect at an establishment that I have given money to for years. The customer service is lacking and the new employees need to be better trained.

This is not the first time -- I have had a similar experience with the same staff member on the past two occasions as well. Today, I was not expecting to be assigned to her again, but I was. The staff member (wearing a red T-shirt and glasses) used hot wax even after I clearly mentioned twice that I was uncomfortable with it. The first time my concern was ignored, and the second time I was told that my skin was not burning and that it was fine. However, my skin is now extremely red and experiencing a burning sensation. Additionally, the service felt rushed. Several patches were skipped, and it seemed as though there was a hurry to move on to the next customer. As a paying customer, I expect proper attention and care during my appointment. When I requested after-wax care such as oil or aloe vera gel, I was told that none was available. Post-wax care is very important, especially when the skin is sensitive. I believe it would be helpful if service quality and customer care were monitored more closely. Ensuring that clients feel heard and properly attended to should be a priority. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and look into the matter to improve future customer experiences.

The prices seemed reasonable so I decided to give them a try. When I walked in, there was one person being serviced and one lady working. My wait was about 10 minutes. When the lady was finished with the previous customer, she told me that I could go to the back. I assumed we were going to use the same chair that the previous customer sat in. I really wanted her to wipe down the chair before I sat down. I didn't make a big deal about it though. I requested threading on my eyebrows and wax for my upper lip and chin areas. It took no time for her to do what I requested. However, I believe in her haste, she burned my upper lip with the wax. I felt the heat immediately when she put it on and later that night, I had a nice sized burn on my lip. I had to put Neosporin on my lip and I'm still using it as I type. My services were done 2 days ago. She actually did a great job on my threading and wax, other than the burn. Will I give this place another go? I think I will but I'll stay away from having them use wax around my lips. That area is way too sensitive.
