When I arrived there were a few parking spots available for all the businesses. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by the cashier who allowed me to look at the menu without rushing me. I wasn't sure if I wanted the The Dinner which is a protein, salad, roasted potatoes, rice and pita, or the Whole Open-protein, veggies and dipping sauce. I wasn't sure about the potatoes so she offered me a sample and that sold me on the The Dinner but I got double potato instead of rice. Everything was quite delicious but my only issue is the portion size of grilled chicken and dill sauce. For the price, I would have liked four strips instead of the two small ones and an ounce more of the dipping sauce. Overall, this was a great experience and I will definitely try again! When there's no time and I need something to eat quick, Pita Gourmet is my go to spot! This location has always had great staff, they're quick, never get my order wrong when I order online, the food is always consistent and when I have eaten inside, the place is always clean! This place should be your fast food choice, you can also get a burger here and the fries are the best! I normally get a dinner platter or a small salad with chicken. I modify all my meals, as something I want one piece of chicken and two falafels, it's just what I like and it's never a problem. I think their chicken is good, it hits perfect in a pita with dill and I love the falafels here in comparison to some other places. So, I decided to check out the new neighborhood food establishment. I paid a whopping $19 for a single steak souvlaki pita with "extra meat" - I figured this must be like a (the chain Mexican restaurant next door whose name I won't mention as I'm only comparing what people know) with at least 2 lbs of meat and rice and beans and veggies in a huge burrito that won't even close it's so stuffed. What I was handed for this price was an absolute joke. The entire pita, with extra meat (the price of another small pita), came out at 13 ounces! It was so small and no girth like you'd expect for $19 in food in this economy. I can get a full steak souvalki dinner for $15. This pita was almost the exact size length and width as the receipt paper it was printed on. Yes, I have photos. I'd hate to have felt the weight of a large pita with no extras- you do NOT get what you paid for- this isn't a large anything! The iceberg lettuce was turning, a lil slimy. I didn't taste any feta so that was sprinkled. The marinade was very salty. I hoped this would be like the old Pita Pit (Toronto, Boulder) but it is not. I usually order online from the Wherle location, but I accidentally ordered here, and no complaints. Food was made right away! I got a text it was ready while I was still driving there. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Bathroom was clean. This location was a bit larger and brighter and I enjoyed that. I've been to this location several times and everything is always fresh and delicious! Today I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and a side of hummus. The gentleman making my wrap kept asking me about the different vegetables and I just kept saying yes yes yes yes! When he finished my rap was huge and out of control! Both he and I burst out laughing at the size of it and he wish me good luck trying to eat it! I have been seeing Pita gourmet for years but never tried it until recently. There are not many tables down in the restaurant as they seem to be taking precautions and have social distancing for covid-19 which was appreciated although we just get takeout for now. Staff wear masks and make food in front of you unless you order ahead of time. The chicken soulvaki wrap with dill and tzatziki was so good as were the Greek fries with feta and Greek dressing. Also, they have loganberry so that's also a plus. This may be my new spot for soulvaki's. read more

Such a cute place and local, which is great! The falafel were pretty good and the rice was yummy. They have a variety of produce-type ingredients to add as well, which seemed very fresh. The one downside is that their outdoor chairs didn't have umbrellas even though they were directly in the sun, so our dining experience wasn't the best even though the food was. Pita Gourmet is one of my favorite places for something quick, relatively healthy, and a good value. My go to item is a chicken souvlaki pita wrap with dill sauce- it is delicious! My husband has also ordered the Buffalo chicken pita wrap, and said it is just as good. They do offer the option of a pita pocket, they are a bit harder to eat, and often split open. The sides are very generous portions, so we typically get one to split. While not the healthiest option on the menu, the Greek fries are SO GOOD!! We have also ordered the rice pudding and baklava before. It's honestly nothing to write home about, so I'll skip out going forward. However, everything else is amazing! Pita gourmet is great for a quick lunch. I've tried most of the pitas and you really can't go wrong with any of them, but the souvlaki is my favorite. Ordering online is definitely the easier route, as it's a bit hectic in the restaurant with many people ordering in an assembly line style. For some reason the food here just isn't anywhere near as good as the Pita Gourmet down by Hobby Lobby, so even though this one is only 5 minutes from my home, I drive the extra 10 minutes each way to pick up better food. The gyro meat is like completely different somehow, and the Greek fries are comparatively very disappointing, unless the couple of times I've been here I've just been unlucky enough to have had the food prepared by their least skilled person each time!? It's a place that specializes in making pitas. They have several different options but honestly the traditional chicken souvlaki pita is the best with their Dill sauce. So good! Their salads leave something to be desired since they are pretty expensive for the amount you get. Not to mention you have to pay extra for a side of pita with your salad which is ridiculous. It's not a huge place, but it's enough space to sit down and enjoy your meal if you want. It's clean and well kept. I had the Open chicken souvlaki dinner, and I could add things from their veggie bar. There were also sauces they recommended and provided. I also wanted to try one of the oreos which was a combination of lamb and beef, I believe. They put too much of the sauce on it. It made it a bit messy, but other than that, it was good. Decent portions of meat and again they'll put whatever you want from the bar into your wrap. I liked the take out packaging for the salad because it separated everything. Totally recommend getting the regular pita. I tried the wheat and wasn't a big fan. The Baklava. Oh my stars! It was the best I've had in ages. It didn't even make it out of the parking lot, so I ate my dessert first. They have little bags with a square in each of them up by the register. The square is split in half, so I shared it, but honestly, that one triangle was just enough because it was so rich. Loved the quick and easy ordering process - they have all the container size options up front so there's no confusion on how big or small something is. They also clearly state what's in everything on the menu so you can grab one and step off to the side if you need a minute to order. I tried the salad plate with beef - the small size was perfect for a light dinner and everything tasted delicious. I loved that I got to pick the specific toppings at the end (most places have a generic 'salad' topping and you don't actually get to customize anything) and the beef was cooked to order so it was hot and fresh. My husband has been raving about the chicken souvlaki salad for weeks so I finally decided to give it a try. It was definitely very good! I got it for lunch takeout. I left the cheese and tzatziki off which made for a nice healthy option. I can only eat half but now I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Perfection! Got a Beef pita pocket and it was out of this world. I was actually sad when I finished it lol. Ordered online through door dash. Picked up 5 minutes later and my order was already waiting. Everything was fresh. Place was clean, well organized with plenty of room to dine in.
