Absolutely blown away by our experience at Aliberto's! We happened to stop in when they were slammed--I'm talking packed and clearly super busy--but Bri still found the time to make our experience nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with the kind of warm welcome that instantly makes you feel like family. What really impressed us was that, despite the rush, she took the time to give specifics about every question we had on the menu. She even offered helpful suggestions (which ended up being spot-on, by the way). I had accidentally ordered a canned soda, but when I told her we preferred a fountain drink instead, she didn't hesitate for a second. No attitude, no making me feel bad--just pure, genuine service. She literally ran to grab us a cup, and later I found out that the fountain drink actually cost more. But she just smiled and said it was no big deal. That kind of above-and-beyond service is rare these days, and it left a lasting impression. I've driven past Aliberto's at least a hundred times and never stopped. But believe me when I say, that has changed forever. I will make it a mission to stop here every single time I pass through--even if it's just for their horchata, which is a solid 10/10. And let's talk about the food--SO GOOD. Their tacos? Massive and packed with flavor. Everything we tried was fresh, delicious, and satisfying. Even though poor Bri was clearly being pulled in every direction and running around because they were so busy she still managed to keep a positive attitude and give everyone around her that same warm, welcoming energy. She is the heart and soul of this place, and honestly, she alone gives Aliberto's a reputation worth bragging about. Do yourself a favor--don't just drive by. Stop in, grab some tacos and horchata, and if you're lucky enough to be helped by Bri, you're in for something special. read more

Food comes out fast and delicious. The combos are huge. Salsa bar authentic flavors... hot stuff not for lightweights. Guy at the counter always friendly. I don't have to sit and wait forever to have my order taken or wait forever for food to come out like other nearby restaurants. read more

Really great little take out place that is open when most other local places are closed. The carne asada burritos are great. The nachos and enchiladas are also very tasty. You get enough food to have leftovers too, so be ready for that. We had dinner and breakfast for the price of dinner; we just added some eggs here at our room. I've liked every Aliberto's I've tried until this one. Consistently high quality. Here, the "sour cream" and "guacamole" were thin, runny and unrecognizable except by color. Sort of sharp chemical flavors. I ordered several items, and either sour cream or guac, or both, ended up in every dish, either because it came that way or because I added them before tasting. So the unhappy experience is partly on me. The cheese quesadilla was nearly cheeseless. My go-to, the chili relleno burrito, had proportionately the tiniest poblano I've seen in a crb. It was basically a big, vaguely cheesy frijole burrito. Overall this was fast food fare at sit-down prices. I won't give up on Aliberto's. It's been too good everywhere else. But now I know not every location is the same. And I'll make sure to get sour cream and guacamole on the side only. read more

Awesome Chimichanga and Great Service! They made me a surprise chicken chimichanga with sauces and tons of tasty goodness all over today when I popped in with one of my drivers who said they ate the best. Juver was not wrong, the food was great! The owners were friendly and polite too! We ate outside on the picnic tables since inside dining is closed for Corona... Got a number 2. Very little rice and beans. Menu said a number 2 is 10.99 I was charged 12.99. The shredded beef was very tasteful but a little too greasy. Also very lily's salsa was given. read more

Not that bad for a fast food joint. This place has more of a personal experience then other Alibertos. You can tell it a locally owned and is proud of it. Dining room is very roomy, clean, and nice decor. It also have a drive through. I had the steak and egg burritos. It was actually very good, portion is also huge. I didn't stay, had to leave. Very inconsistent from one time to the next! The first time my wife got a chimichanga, and I had a chili relleno and a cheese enchilada, all Ala carte, take-out. It was all delicious, and we were happy campers. But here's Page 2. The next time we decided to get the nachos everyone raved about, with ground beef. When we got home (literally 2 minutes), and opened the box, what we found was a soggy mess. From the bottom up-the chips were just that, a soggy mess, not a single crisp one. Then came the frijoles-lots of them! OK, nachos should have frijoles. But-where's the beef? We were hard pressed to find any at all. What comes next, the veggies-lettuce, tomato-no, none at all. Surely there would be cheese. Nope, not a single morsel! Sour cream? Ditto! And, it was stone cold. It looked like it had been sitting around all afternoon, and then somebody slopped some into a box and charged us around $14 for it. We are Heber residents, and hard headed ones at that, so we will go back for one last try. Let's hope that our first visit is the norm, and forget about that last one! One last note, the guy at the take out window is a great guy, friendly and fun to talk to while waiting a short time for your order. Ambience? Visiting from out of town on vacation. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The owner and chef were both very friendly and welcoming and willing to give tips on where to go to see snow. Great chip bar with delicious salsa. Had the horchata to drink which was good (I am very picky about my horchata). Ordered quesadilla - it was big and tortillas are good quality. Also had enchilada plate and the number 1 special. All this for less than $20. The food hit the spot and the price was agreeable. Would definitely return. read more

This is a wonderful dive-y local spot where you can eat at while on a budget or take-out. We chose to take out. I had two soft shell tacos and an order of Spanish rice. Delicious! We have always wanted to stop here on our way up to Pinetop. We noticed outdoor seating and since we had our pup we could dine al fresco. Friendly service. We had a great Bean and Cheese Burrito and Shredded Beef Tacos. The flour tortilla was perfection. Often times tortillas are bready or dried out. This tortilla tasted hot off the homemade skillet. They also offer complimentary chips and salsa. We have a new yummy pit stop on our way up to the pines! read more

I walked in and ordered Chorizo and Eggs. The clerk asked me what kind of tortillas I wanted. A common question when someone orders a Chorizo and Eggs plate. 10 minutes later she brings me a Chorizo and Egg burrito. When I told her that wasn't what I ordered; she replied, "you ordered a burrito". My question is; why ask me what kind of tortilla. She messed up and wasn't going to admit it. Had dinner tonight next the Best Western...not the best I've ever had nor the worse, but definitely in the middle. It was a clean, friendly, well lit and happy joint with a fun vibe but what made the entire experience the best was the cashier, Miguel Angelo!!! He was a short, super friendly, amazing breath of fresh air in a taco shop situated in the middle of nowhere....literally! They have a nice salsa bar, lots of drink selections and plenty of places to sit. Take care of your cashier, he is worth his wait in gold....and then some!!!! read more
