WOW! So much to say! The ordering was quick and easy at the counter, the restaurant is clean, open, and lots of places to sit! Their condiments area is clean and has everything you need from red and green salsa to hot carrots to lime wedges. The food was served within 10 minutes and was absolutely delicious. The rice, the beans and the tacos. Do not miss this gem in Heber/Overgaard!

    My carne asada chimichanga.

My husband and had dinner here. The food was excellent!! The only problem was deciding what to get. We ended up ordering a carne asada chimichanga and shrimp tacos. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious! Next time I'm going to try the Overgaard burrito.

Carne asada chimichanga was delicious and filling 7 out of 10!

Clean and fast but when you order a carne asada burro and have to unwrap it to look for the meat that's no bueno.

Absolutely blown away by our experience at Aliberto's!…read more We happened to stop in when they were slammed--I'm talking packed and clearly super busy--but Bri still found the time to make our experience nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with the kind of warm welcome that instantly makes you feel like family. What really impressed us was that, despite the rush, she took the time to give specifics about every question we had on the menu. She even offered helpful suggestions (which ended up being spot-on, by the way). I had accidentally ordered a canned soda, but when I told her we preferred a fountain drink instead, she didn't hesitate for a second. No attitude, no making me feel bad--just pure, genuine service. She literally ran to grab us a cup, and later I found out that the fountain drink actually cost more. But she just smiled and said it was no big deal. That kind of above-and-beyond service is rare these days, and it left a lasting impression. I've driven past Aliberto's at least a hundred times and never stopped. But believe me when I say, that has changed forever. I will make it a mission to stop here every single time I pass through--even if it's just for their horchata, which is a solid 10/10. And let's talk about the food--SO GOOD. Their tacos? Massive and packed with flavor. Everything we tried was fresh, delicious, and satisfying. Even though poor Bri was clearly being pulled in every direction and running around because they were so busy she still managed to keep a positive attitude and give everyone around her that same warm, welcoming energy. She is the heart and soul of this place, and honestly, she alone gives Aliberto's a reputation worth bragging about. Do yourself a favor--don't just drive by. Stop in, grab some tacos and horchata, and if you're lucky enough to be helped by Bri, you're in for something special.

Azteca: Where My Stomach Says 'Me Gusta!'…read more We've been to El Azteca a handful of times now, and it's truly one of our go-to spots for Mexican food. We usually stop by after church, and it never disappoints. Our latest orders were the Carne Asada and the Texano Fajitas--both so flavorful, and the servings are just right. We have to ask to-go boxes after. The ambience is really nice--clean, cozy, and I've always loved their booth seating. The staff is always welcoming and friendly the moment we walk in. And yes, they serve freshly cooked chips right away (always a plus for me!) along with their perfect salsa. My husband and I both love Horchata, and we never skip ordering each of us a big glass of that creamy cinnamon goodness. We've also tried their Camarones a la Crema--shrimp sautéed with mushrooms in a creamy sour cream sauce. Rich, comforting, and perfect with the rice and refried beans on the side. Their fajitas for two with steak come out sizzling, exactly how fajitas should. The flavor is on point, and honestly, it could feed more than just two people. The chorizo and eggs always hit the spot, and the enchilada suiza with egg and green sauce is another favorite. It is simple, comforting, and solid every time. Always a great experience here, and we'll definitely keep coming back.

Personally, I love burgers and bar food and the burgers and bar food here is well above average. I also had one of their draft beers and it was nice. The curds appetizer was delicious and I don't know why it took America so long to discover curds. Canada has had them forever. The onion rings were excellent. The fries appeared to be hand-cut and were very good. I didn't love the Relic Chips. They were too deeply fried and didn't have a lot of flavor. The Southwest Burger with fried onions and BBQ sauce on Texas Toast was a solid choice, the Patty Melt on rye was very good, and the "make your own burger" was also very nice. There are plenty of TVs for sports viewing and the place is kid-friendly and has a kid's menu. Well worth a visit if you're taking it easy in Winslow.

After checking in to my hotel, I headed over and was able to easily find parking. The restaurant is laid back, inviting, and offers ample seating indoor and outdoor. It wasn't busy when I arrived. Most of the staff were tidying up, but stopped to greet me. I let the kind lady behind the bar know that I wanted to place a to-go order. She handed me a menu and asked if I wanted a drink while I waited. I opted for water and settled at the bar. We chatted for a bit and she offered insights about the tournament and even gave other food recommendations. (I tried her pizza rec and it was good!) I ordered the fish tacos and added avocado as well as a small side of fries. The food didn't take long and I ate them in my hotel room. The fish tacos were just okay. They looked stacked at first glance, but that's because they had way too much slaw and not enough fish. The fries were also okay, and were definitely better with the ranch and ketchup I was given. Perhaps I didn't order the right dishes, but I don't eat meat and their seafood and veggie options were limited. RelicRoad came highly recommended by locals, so maybe other items are better. I'd give the food three stars and the excellent service five stars, so four stars overall!

Friendly service. Located in the parking lot of an antiques store with bathrooms inside, "Western Village Antiques" to be precise. One picnic table available, but we ate off the tailgate of the truck (which I noticed others were doing too). Tacos were great! Fresh ingredients. "Street tacos" sized. Should have ordered six for two people. My only recommendation: use double tortillas for each taco to reduce spillage and messiness. Otherwise, one can ask for a fork. Wife liked pork. I liked beef. Both were great. They were out of chocolate chip cookies. Darn. Strong Recommend.

We came by on a Monday -- their special chicken dinner day -- and ordered the chicken plate (fresh breast + thigh), with rice, beans, fresh corn tortillas, and both red and green salsas. We also grabbed two carnitas street tacos. The second I took a bite, I knew I was in trouble (the good kind). The chicken was perfectly seasoned, with a golden crust that had flavor in every crispy edge. And the carnitas tacos? Authentic, juicy, rich -- exactly what you want in a taco. We literally turned around right after finishing and ordered two more tacos. No shame. Took them to-go and ate them lakeside at Green Lake -- 10/10 vibes. The guys running the truck are genuinely kind-hearted and personable, which just makes the whole experience even better. Why tacos this good are in Payson, I have no idea... but I'm so glad they are. If you haven't tried Crne yet, what are you waiting for? Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a must-hit. Hands down, some of the best and freshest tacos I've ever had -- and that's coming from a Cali native. Will be coming back, again... and again... and again. Bonus tip: they serve Vegan options on Sundays!
