Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this dealership. Due to over pricing, poorly consumer valued vehicles. Please read full review below for the story... I had recently went in to check out a vehicle, that seemingly seemed in fairly decent shape, which it was, drove perfectly fine. No Mechanical or any majorly noticable issues inside and out. There were No Check Engine or other dash lights on, I had checked for codes or pending codes with a professional scan tool, yes I had braught a scan tool. As it was a common concern by other reviewers for this dealership. After test driving. I gave the vehicle a real hard look over, and had noticed quite abit of some dings, dents, scratchs and what not over the body. These are all things that affect the value of the vehicle in a negative manner. The car when I came to look at it was listed as om sale $6,995 in the window, as well as the original listing price of around $8500 in the window as well. But online on market place, it was listed as 5,995. So thus began price negotiations with Demi. After some negotiations, i had a final offer of 6K out the door after such fees and what not. Which is considered a some-what fair and doable deal as the buyer considering the condition of the car was not considered as exceptional or Very Good. Which if being honest, what used car is now days, but anyways. In the end the car being valued in such case as less than 4800 or at 4800 on the absolute high end by Kelly Blue Book, Nada Guides and Edmunds, when all exterior damages are factored in. These are 3 big & well known major car valuing companies. Edmunds even showing dealership value as well. But, knowing the cars absolute value, here comes the issues, and the real kicker. Demi had went off to talk to the manager, I assume to discuss my offers. He then came back that we had a deal, which sounded great at first... but to then say its at 7000 out the door. That they would do 6000 now and then charge me 1000$ later. I'm sorry but WTF! This to me made no sense at all. And was almost down right insulting considering I was a very serious buyer ready to pay for the car in full for my offer. But, they then said their car is worth around 7300 because of Carfaxs values estimating it at that. Which he had shown, and is absurdly over priced. So really their offer only was a no thanks offer but you can pay 1000$ more then $6000. Look, I do understand dealerships have to make some money to stay in business. But.. way over charging customers for cars, making absolutely insulting counter offers and saying its still a good deal is insane and absurd, no matter how professional and nice you are. Customers are trying to find reasonably priced, reliable vehicles from reputable dealerships in this tough world economy. You need to be a customer first business... This all being said, the value margins as a customer are really really bad, you would not be getting a really good deal or even a good deal at this dealership. Always do your research before buying any car! Because covid car prices are coming to an end as the car market is crashing. And I wouldn't recommend this dealership if your trying to find a reasonably priced reliable vehicle. Now if money is no object, power to you. They are at least very nice, professional and respectful even with everything else being said. Just remember it is an USED CAR dealership. I went to his car lot weekly to figure out how he would fix this. Sold me a car with no title to submit to the bank after the sale. We had meetings i drove to the lot weekly to pay my bill. Why isn't my loan funded. He blames me but remember I have all the texts all the dmv reports ect. Registerd offender scott he was allowed around my baby girl his finance manager and embezzled my cash down payment and stashed my loan under his desk and went on vacation. my loan was never funded never did i not try and pay you robert. You had no title you forged my signature to remove the bank as lein holder. God only knows what personal information scott took of mine and your family's also. Robert mustafa alic never speaks the truth saying it's a bank issue he and I quote said "the car is yours" your payment are not late. I just wanted a safe new momma car. I didn't need the car i wanted it. I sold te car i owned after the purchase. My contract is nole and void. I watched the dmv records i paid for records of the title you never had it to give to the bank. I drove this vehicle registered and insured for ONE and a HALF YEARS! Never did he call me he never ever called me so don't say I never tried to pay. I have the reciepts. I then had a fender bender and insurance totaled the car. Roberto promised to get me into andother car same documents same interest rate if i gave him the insurance check He stole my insurance check and never spoke to me again. He promised to help me if i gave him the check. I never had to complete the insurance claim i should have towed your car to your lot ans walked away. Two of his sales boys sent me unsolicited texts and when i say demi is creepy i have the proof in the texts. Mind blown. I will attach images. Do your deep dive. Research the ICourts see how many law suits they have lost. My situation is un heard of. deceptive sales. I have all the proof all the paper trail all the texts to prove in court. Next was the AC, and now it is sitting in a mechanic shop pending repairs that are not covered by the $1600 warranty they sold me. Shady dishonest criminals work at and own this dealership. They need to be shut down! The morning after our purchase of a VW Golf, the check engine light came on and after several weeks, which turned into months, we put up with Rob at Alic Motors, putting on non factory parts and the car never worked right as IT WAS SIMPLY NOT FIXABLE. Per the VW dealer we were advised that the car needed an OEM parts costing over $4500. The car he sold us should have been a total loss and not sold to us, as it turned out that the repairs needed exceeded the value of the car price and our loan. We tried to reason with Rob to give us a trade in but all the cars he had at that price range were bad or worse. He told us this himself while at the lot. We spent over $2100 for repairs yet that check engine light still kept going on. We still have an outstanding loan we are obligated to pay. We have lost our down payment, trade in value and months of loss of use plus the emotional distress and stress of being subjected to such ill treatment. The EPC code came on recently; this code means the brain of the car's computer is no longer functioning. Now the car is dead and undrivable. The window sticker for the VW Golf said it ran "flawlessly"; more lies but in writing! Rob Alic owner initially agreed to fix the VW Golf we purchased for our grand daughter (we are seniors btw) and instead of keeping his word he sent his sidekick criminal (unknown to us at that time) salesperson Scott H to tell us to leave the lot or he would call police when we showed up for a planned meeting to trade in the Golf. Scott said that Rob alleges we ruined his relationship with the bank that funded our loan. Any consumer has the right to talk to a bank who funds their loan. Rob was not fixing the car or allowing us trade it in so I had no alternative but to call the bank for help. We have since learned that Scott H was fired for pocketing down payments, not processing loans and embezzlement. We would have gladly taken our trade in back at this point, but Rob had sold it the day after we purchase the VW Golf. What a coward and unprofessional to let people. especially seniors and single moms, pay on a loan for a car that cannot be repaired. They sell defective, unsafe cars and commit "fraud" daily look at the reviews here on Yelp and Google, their intent is malicious and criminal, all to gain profit. We are still paying on the loan for the VW Golf, a car that isn't drivable. Anyone else want to team up with us to get an attorney to make these guys stop their criminal activity and pay it all back? highly don't recommend we bought a Range Rover from here and 9 days later we had to send to back to dealer shop we had sent to Land Rover Boise first and got it diagnosed comes out it's a 9-11k repair and we were told alic had to know of issue prior to sell . Alic asked us to take to their shop and for 7 plus months they had excuse after excuse to why it wasn't fixed we got frustrated with them and took it to another shop which diagnosed it with same issue and alic wants to pay for it using the extended warranty we paid for til this day going on 8months we still pay a monthly payment on a vehicle we can't use and now sits in our garage reminding you guys it was a 30k vehicle only 66k miles so please do yourselves a favor go somewhere else. read more

So they told me they couldn't send any of the documents that needed to be signed until after the check had arrived and cleared they ghosted me for like 2 - 3 days and then when the check cleared they sent over the documents but I was under the impression that it came with some type of warranty . Once I read it didn't I called them and asked about it. Didn't really like the answer I got so I told them I didn't want to purchase the car anymore and if they could send my money back. They told me even tho I hadn't signed any documents for the car because I sent them the money that as far as they are concerned I brought the car even tho they are still in possession of it. Under no circumstances should you buy from these guys. I bought a car there, took it on a test run and it performed as expected. Great-looking car on the outside. As soon as I got home with it, literally the next day, it sputtered and died. I took it in, they replaced spark plugs, got it going for another day, died again. Tried to return and they said it doesn't work that way. I was in the process of moving, so they knew all they had to do is stall me. The evening before I moved, it died completely. Mechanic said it needed an entire new engine. Alic Motors wouldn't do anything. This is a week after I got it, to and from work, MAYBE 50 miles driven. Idaho doesn't have a lemon law, so they will do absolutely nothing to make a situation like this right. DO NOT buy from Alic Motors, you will regret it. read more

DON'T BUY YOUR CAR FROM HERE. The first day I drove it home the car had issues, I brought it to their attention, and it took weeks for them to get it back in to fix the problem they should have identified prior to selling it to me as it was a frequently used function in the car. One month later the fuel injector went, 3 weeks later the head gasket and oil cooler went. I brought it back to them to have it fixed, they sat on it for well over a week, did not fix a thing, so I brought it somewhere else because I couldn't afford for them to sit around doing nothing to fix the car. 6 weeks after these repairs were complete, the catalytic converter and oil temperature sensor went. I have owned this car for less than 5 months, driven maybe 3,000 miles and have sunk over $7K in to fixing it. If this is a well vetted, well cared for (as I was sold) used car, this wouldn't happen. I have had several mechanics look at this vehicle and tell me it is highly unlikely that Alic motors didn't know the vehicle was like this before selling it. There is no way they have 3 mechanics on site and don't know these things are wrong with their cars. Sneaky and slimy, clearly they will sell you anything to make a buck. How immoral. read more

We took a car from here for an inspection from mechanic, more problems than the car booked for. BTW they had it on lot way over market value. Spend the money for an inspection before buying from pot lots, then you don't have to write about your bad purchases. $55 for an inspection from an unbiased mechanic saved us a couple grand. We went somewhere else, got a clean inspection and bought. Don't impulse buy, run the vin, run the NADA independent of the dealership. Pay for the independent inspection. If it's too good to be true it's likely a "recon", or a branded title another bit of info you can get from the VIN. If they sell you a recon car and don't disclose it (in your paperwork)talk to a lawyer. Go to a credit union and see if the will give you a loan, put 20% down. Follow this and I promise you, you won't be on here with a sad story. read more

Honestly this place is a hit or miss. They have a lot of hot cars that never seem to last for long. Which is a good and bad thing I suppose. Bought 2 cars here, one a dud and one amazing. The car that is a dud is constantly in the shop getting parts repaired or replaced. Now fed up, at this point it will be sold for a loss. Which is the gamble or risk you take when purchasing vehicles from places like this. My other vehicle is great, couldn't be happier. So it's a mixed review, all around. I explained BUYER BE WARE issue with over $8000 in engine issues, Alic Motors came back to state I have had the car for 1.5 years. NOPE! Purchased December 2021 from Alic Motors. This just lends to the lack of honesty and credibility of this dealership. I will provide the timeline of repairs beginning Feburary 5, 2022 (first available appointment with Volvo of San Jose, Ca where I was working. Thanks to the Covid backlog of appointments) Took in for a faulty start stop switch replaced, bad charging system, and 70K mile service and a broken windshield washer hose and container, all of which cost $1600. Start stop switch not resolved. Continued to stall out and not restart after coming to a stop. Due to relocation to Oregon, continued service at next Volvo dealership located in Beaverton, Oregon (halfway point between school and home). As the effects of the pandemic can still be felt by all, the next appointment was scheduled for May 9, 2022. Dropped car off May 8, 2022 due to work schedule. The car has been at the Volvo dealership since due to needing to order parts for the vehicle. I actually get to pick up the car tomorrow, thank you. I wouldn't have known that the car I was looking at had a branded title if I hadn't found it on the Craigslist ad. They assured me that there was no damage that it was just in a "flood zone" and the insurance company automatically branded it. Great first experience for my daughter. So seems odd for me to write a review for a used car dealer. Past experiences have been less than stellar. But from the start the guys down at Alic motors were 5 stars. My daughter was looking for her first car and I couldn't ask for anything better. Let us test drive as much as we wanted, let us take it to our mechanic and we joked around as we made a deal on the car. They even hooked us up with where we could get good snow tires for the car. Buyers please be aware of these beasts! They are not people..they are animals! We went to Alic Motors looking to purchase a vehicle. A 2004 Infiniti QX56 had just come in. Alic Motors took the Infiniti to a mechanic and told us the only thing wrong was a power steering leak, about a $200 fix. We agreed to purchase with financing. We opted out of the paid warranty, as we were told the car was in good shape. The Alic Motors website claims there is a free 90 day warranty for vehicles paid in full. We were quoted and paid the full price we were quoted of $14,950. We were told that the price should have been $16,900. However, we paid the full price we were quoted, again, $14,950. Two months into owning the vehicle, we have had to put $1700 worth of repairs. And, there are STILL issues. When my entire family went in to ask about the 90 day free warranty on their website, we were told they wouldn't honor it because we didn't pay the full price. It wasn't our fault that the sales person misquoted, and he was supposed to ask $16,950. We paid fully what we were offered. The owner laughed in our faces, lost his temper, and wouldn't even consider working something out with us. His finance guy was trying to be helpful and find some resolution, but the owner wouldn't let him, and threatened us to get out of his office. read more

I would not recommend anyone buy a car here, one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in my life. I'm sure they will try to refute this, and twist words around as they seem to do that in other bad reviews, but very frustrated with this place. Purchased a vehicle there, and initially Trenton/Rob and customer service was great. Part of the agreement was they would use their mechanic for a repair after I had my car vetted by Toyota mechanic before buying. It was all downhill after the money changed hands and they took my car to their mechanic. A check engine light, 9 missing bolts, broken sensor and a couple thousand dollars later after having to take the car back to the Toyota dealer to be re-fixed, I cannot be less happy about this process. Once the car was sold, it was like Alic motors didnt care about me or my experience. Tried to be reasonable with the issues their mechanic caused, but they are refusing to refund any money that I paid them for the poor work that was done. They are refusing to believe the problem is real, stating that it "must have already been like that" or "how do we know the Toyota dealership isnt taking you for a ride?". They are now trying to turf the issue to the mechanic who doesnt return calls and has never met me or talked to me before. Alic motors obviously does not care about your experience as a customer. Cannot recommend enough that you look elsewhere for a car, and if you do buy a car through them, have it checked by your own mechanic and do not let them use their mechanic for any part of the deal. They may say they have never had a problem before with their mechanic, but it's not worth the headache (or the extra money you have to pay to get it done right). Mr. Alic showed up to our house with his wife offering cash to buy our car. He pretended to need a second car for his familiy. I let him talk me down on the price while thinking he was in great need of a good car for his family. During the purchase of the car he revealed his home address as Alic Motors on Fairview Ave. At this point we just wanted to get rid of the car. I couldn't help but feel that I was swindled. He blatantly lied. We signed the paperwork at the bank and had the title sent to him. Three months later he began calling asking for a power of attorney so that the new owner in Oregon could title and register the vehicle. This seemed strange to us since the title had been already transfered to his name and dealership and we were released from all liabilty. So insistent was Mr. Alic on having me sign over power of attorney that he eventually snapped during a phone call and threatened to call the police if I didn't sign the "fucking little form." The Idaho DMV assured me there was absolutely no reason we should sign a power of attorney form. However, doing so would allow him to alter the title and avoid paying sales tax for the purchase of the vehicle. Swindler. read more
