Just want people to know how this lot operates. I have had my Volvo listed on Craig's List, and got a call today from a young boy wanting to know if I'd take $6500 for my car, I told him $7000 was my bottom line. He said he could do that. He asked me if I could meet him at a friend's used car dealership at noon. I got there and when this boy showed up with his brother, his brother took over. Took a drive in my car with me, and got back and looked the car over and said he could only offer me $6500 for the car. I said I couldn't consider less than $7000 as the retail value according to NADA is $8400. He then said, "I'll have to talk to my dad, and went to the owner of the dealership, his father, and came back to say no. My issue is the dishonesty this car dealer uses to buy cars wholesale off of Craig's List. Sir. It's not so much the price ultimately that I was offered, but the fact you used the two boys to lie about them buying the car. And, retail according to NADA, is $8400.00. Since the boys represented they were buying for themselves, I was within reason selling for $7000. As I say in my response, I'm more concerned about how they got me to the dealership using the boys to lie about who the car was for, instead of the dealer calling me directly to say they were interested in purchasing. The boy initially told me they were friends of the dealership and wanted to meet there to get their "friends" opinion on the car. As we wrapped up the negotiations, the older boy said in response to my final proposal, "let me go talk to my dad", and walked into the dealership. This is when I knew I'd been had. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CRIMINALS. I bought a bmw 135i that had a clean carfax only to discover later that it had been in an accident and the damage was not reported. The entire left rear was severely damaged and the bumper was screwed back on to hide the damage so I couldn't see any issue when I bought it. Alic Motors is a fraud and the guys there are crooks. The people were nice but I purchased a car that needed the break pads replaced and they assured me that if I got the car they would call me to set up an appointment to get them fixed. They never called and I went in and told them they still needed to fix the pads and they assured me again that they would order the part and call me when it came in. It's been a month and they still haven't fixed the pads and I don't believe they're going to. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if they would have told me straight up that they weren't going to fix it in the first place. read more

Buyer Beware These guys are crooks the sell lemons cars. They look good on the outside but under the hood tells another story. We went in to buy a car from them noticed it was leaking. They said they would have there techs fix it. We went back to buy the car to notice the car was not fixed. When asking the owner about the leak he instantly got mad and slammed the hood telling us not to buy the car. They are very unprofessional. I don't recommend them to anyone. This business is run by professional swindlers, and they're very well-practiced at what they do. I put an ad out to sell my car. Zehdin Alic immediately called me, told me he would pay the full price I was asking, told me he accepted the defects in the car, and begged me to take my listing off the internet. I met him early the next morning and he had a very long act to put on for me to bargain my price down. He pretended to be a janitor, a family man, he drove a really awful tiny Volkswagen, and showed me pictures of his "kids." He claimed this would be a second car for his wife and kids to travel in. I admit, I'm a sucker for not being strong and saying "no," BUT the sleaziest thing he did to trick me was show me a fake Kelley Blue Book listing on his iphone that showed a value that was $1000 less than the real value. He walked me through the process of looking up this value and somehow made it look like it was accurate information. I suddenly thought that I had plugged in the wrong information myself while doing my research. I suspect he put in the wrong year for the car model and then just didn't show me the "year" screen. I doubted myself and thought that I was really the one claiming an outrageous price. Later on I looked up my Blue Book value (when it was too late) and realized I'd been scammed. Zehdin's disguise came off after he'd put the money in my hand. He was clearly very accustomed to the process of signing over titles. All night I knew I'd been had, but I didn't know the details. The next day I was headed down Fairview Avenue in a borrowed car and I bumped into "Alic Motors," used cars at the very same address that Zehdin had listed as his home apartment. So this is his business: finding people with used cars for sale, talking a fast line of lies, using sleight of hand to show incorrect values, lowering the sale price, and reselling the cars on his lot. He's a predator. And if he's this dishonest about buying cars, who knows what lies he's selling you when you're on his lot? Don't come here looking for honest business. read more

Great experience. I went to other Used Car Dealerships around the Boise area and I explained to them that I'm in college and had a strict budget. All of the other dealerships kept taking me out of my budget and explained how they were getting me a great deal. When I got to Alic Motors, I immediately told them my budget and situation and the salesman kept me in that budget and even helped me save money. As a bonus, their selection on cars were much greater than the other dealerships. Highly Recommend them and will be seeing them in the future. read more

My sister was waiting for tax miney to come in, (also buying a car from them), told them it would be a week. We went to Alic Motors looking to purchase a vehicle. A 2004 Infiniti QX56 had just come in. Alic Motors took the Infiniti to a mechanic and told us the only thing wrong was a power steering leak, about a $200 fix. We agreed to purchase with financing. We opted out of the paid warranty, as we were told the car was in good shape. The Alic Motors website claims there is a free 90 day warranty for vehicles paid in full. We were quoted and paid the full price we were quoted of $14,950. We were told that the price should have been $16,900. However, we paid the full price we were quoted, again, $14,950. Two months into owning the vehicle, we have had to put $1700 worth of repairs. And, there are STILL issues. When my entire family went in to ask about the 90 day free warranty on their website, we were told they wouldn't honor it because we didn't pay the full price. It wasn't our fault that the sales person misquoted, and he was supposed to ask $16,950. We paid fully what we were offered. The owner laughed in our faces, lost his temper, and wouldn't even consider working something out with us. His finance guy was trying to be helpful and find some resolution, but the owner wouldn't let him, and threatened us to get out of his office. read more

I went to Alic Motors with an honest deal to trade my car for one on his lot. I had looked up the Kelly BB values of both cars before hand and mine came up more valuable being 5 yrs newer. He came out using his phone with an app ABA or something of that sort that is for dealers to determine the value of cars for resale saying his older car was worth more than mine. But the funny part was he couldn't scan a barcode on my vehicle so he just entered the information in, and then scanned a barcode on his vehicle. And according to his app his older car was worth 5,000 more than my newer car when I have been price searching other cars the same make model and year as his. Plus the price on his internet page is different that the price on the actual car on the lot. This guy is the dictionary definition of a "Used Car Salesman". I saw 3 other people walk off the lot while I was there, so selling the cars he has isn't his top priority and there isn't any room for any more so I am not sure what his priority is. He also seemed nervous when I mentioned I would have his car checked out by a mechanic to make sure it was sound before the purchase was complete.... read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! My wife and I purchased a car from these swindlers a few months ago. Absolutely terrible experience for us both. The day we drove it off the lot the car alarm started going off EVERYTIME you opened the door. We immediately drove it back to the lot where we met the owner's son and he told us to get the #*$! off of their lot and that all sales were final. Terrible terrible way to treat a customer the day after a big sale. After that we refuse to visit the lot and have since fixed a TON of issues related to the car that we were assured was in excellent running condition. I bought a Jeep from them a few months ago. I am a huge jeep guy, and I know what to look for and what to avoid with regard to Jeeps. I browsed craigslist and the local used cars lots for months before seeing two Jeep Wranglers pop up on Alic Motors webpage. Both were priced VERY well. By the time I got there the next morning, one had sold. The other, up inspection had a few scratches, but otherwise, looked in great shape. I even managed to get the price down almost $2k more than the already, nearly STUPID low price they were asking. PLS BE CAREFUL,made account just for this. Was looking to buy a 2011 Subaru Legacy for $7500 with 157k miles, but it just came in the lot, so we test drove it knowing there could be problems. The Engine lights, brake lights, cruise, oil temp and transmission lights were all on. A friend owns a mechanics shop and had a quick look at it, the engine stutters and cuts out from time to time. But we really liked the car so we told the dealers the problem and they said they'd get their mechanic to look at it. We told them we'd buy it if it gets fixed or if they give an estimate on the repairs, well buy it as-is with priced reduce for the repair cost. They told us they'd call us when the car gets back on the lot. A week goes by and nothing, so we went to the dealer and found the car was there. The same salesman says "I thought you forgot about us" I was honestly annoyed at his comment when his the one that forgot to call us back. Again, we test drove it and still the same problems, all the lights on and the engine stutters. We told them again we got approved by bank and we'll buy it if they fix the problem, or lower the cost for repairs. They told us that it's a quick fix of only $20 they just need to order the parts...... They have not even ordered the parts to repair it yet. A weekend goes by and we come by on Monday, the car was not back yet so they told us they would call or text when it gets back. Thursday comes around and they call us if that the car is back on the lot. We came back to test drive it again and again nothing was fixed and for some reason each time they take it to the mechanic the car gets more and more scratched and there was even a small hole on the back bumper now. They told us their mechanic doesn't know what's wrong. We told them we'd buy it if it gets fixed and another weekend goes by. We came back again and they told us they'll give us a 1 year free warranty, I asked them if fixing the problems will be covered, they said yes. I asked our mechanic friends shop and they said if it's the transmission problem it won't be covered under their warranty. I told the dealer and they said the mechanic doesn't know what they're talking about. I asked if it will be covered by warranty, why can't it be fixed first and then we'll buy it. They told me we have to buy it first before the warranty kicks in, but it will be covered. I told him a transmission could cost from $2500 to $4000 if it's a big problem, they said it's not a big problem and it will be covered under warranty. My friend asked if it's not a big problem, why don't they just fix it first. Dealer again said they will after the warranty kicks in. I called the warranty company they gave us and they said "THEY WILL NOT COVER ANY PROBLEMS THAT ARE PRESENT BEFORE THE WARRANTY KICKS IN, IT HAS TO BE FIXED BEFORE THE WARRANTY." This raised the last flag that I was getting scammed, so I told the dealer about it and they said it will be covered. We asked for our deposit back and they angrily gave it back. Went to look at another dealer the same day and bought a 2010 Subaru Impreza for $7100 with 92k miles a few hours later. read more
