We could not be happier with their value and service! Unlike the many various service techs that show up here, Todd's did not show up at 8:00am reeking of cologne, trying to hide the obvious pot smell! (You'd be surprised at just how many that arrive like this)! I had to remove 1 panel of fence for them to accommodate our new unit, but they removed the old unit and had the new one up and running less than 8 hours. The tech even offered to help me put my fence back to normal. (Very kind, but after he worked so hard all day, I declined and did it myself). Months later, when we need to turn on the heat, unfortunately, it did not work. I called Todd's and they had a tech out here in less than 24 hours and fixed it! (There was one wire that had come off or had not been properly attached. No biggie). I cannot say enough great things about Todd's! We originally called Blair's because our downstairs AC unit wasn't cooling well. After inspecting it, they told us the downstairs unit needed to be replaced. We agreed. During that same visit, they also told us our upstairs unit was about seven years old and that air conditioners typically last around ten years. We were repeatedly warned that with Florida summer approaching, it would be difficult to get a replacement quickly if it failed, and we could be left without air conditioning during the hottest part of the year. Based on those recommendations, we spent an additional $12,000 to replace a unit that had never given us any problems. That decision has turned into one of the biggest mistakes we've made as homeowners. Since the new upstairs unit was installed, it has been off more than it has been on throughout the summer. Blair's has returned to our home approximately ten times trying to repair it. Every time ends the same way: we're told it's fixed, only for it to shut down again a few days later. Each time there's a different explanation--a new part needs to be ordered, something needs to be adjusted, the drain pan needs to be tilted differently--but the outcome never changes. This has completely disrupted our lives. For weeks at a time, our family has had to drag mattresses downstairs and sleep together in the living room because the upstairs became unbearably hot and humid. There have been days where it's so uncomfortable upstairs that I couldn't spend more than a few minutes showering, getting dressed, or doing laundry before having to go back downstairs. Every time I walk upstairs now, I find myself hoping the air conditioning is actually running. The most concerning part is what has happened to our home. Since this installation, we've developed extensive mold growth across multiple upstairs ceilings--areas where we had never experienced mold before. Initially, our concerns about mold were dismissed and told that it is not mold. Eventually, we were told it was mold but that it was supposedly caused by the way our vents and recessed lights had originally been installed--not by the HVAC system (even though we have NEVER had mold in these areas before these issues with the new upstairs unit). It's obvious to us the the constant humidity and heat upstairs has caused the mold growth. It's so obvious, but they will not admit it; I can only imagine how much mold is in our attic. We have simply never experienced widespread mold growth upstairs before this installation, and we've now spent an entire Florida summer with an upstairs AC system that repeatedly fails and leaves the home extremely humid. Instead of taking ownership or working toward a lasting solution, we've felt like we've received excuse after excuse while our situation continues to get worse. To make matters even more frustrating, professionalism has been lacking throughout this process. We rarely receive clear explanations about what is actually wrong or what is being done to permanently fix it/a timeline when it will be back up and running. We trusted Blair's recommendations. They convinced us to replace a functioning upstairs unit because they said it would prevent us from having problems during the summer. Instead, we've spent thousands of dollars for the exact opposite outcome. We are now seriously considering legal counsel because we no longer know how else to get this resolved. If you're considering replacing your HVAC system--especially in Florida where reliable air conditioning is essential--I strongly encourage you to do extensive research and get multiple opinions before choosing Blair's. I sincerely hope no other family has to go through what ours has experienced.

Brandt assisted us initially with inspecting our old unit and letting us know his recommendations for our new one. The previous install had the ductwork leaning on the ceiling, an improperly constructed return vent... RDK installed everything from scratch and the difference in how the system operates is so much more efficient (lower electric bills) with both the outside and inside units hardly making any noise. Last month was our first maintenance and again I was very impressed. I believe his name was Harris and he did more than anyone has ever done on AC maintenance in any of my homes. He washed the coils on the outside unit by removing the top, he sucked out the drain line, measured the temperature of the air pushed out from the air handler and more.
