Count me in as another desk jockey who keeps messing up their back, and now gets to keep coming…read moreback each time I do something new and fun like "lifting the wrong way" or "sitting for an extensive research project" or "slogging through another parent-teacher conference in an elementary school chair". This location is super central, easy to park in, and is chock full of great physical therapists and supportive staff. They're gonna make you work, but if you work there (and do your homework) they'll get you out of there. Plus there's a neat app that'll nag you to keep doing your exercises so you don't make it back any time soon. I hate the exercises, hate the work, grumble through it all, but love being able to 1) lift 2) stand 3) sleep 4) walk after graduation. Psst - you get to BONG A GONG plus get a nifty tshirt once you're at the end of your own personal montage.

I strongly recommend AGAINST Texas Physical Therapy Specialists. In my lone session there, I did a…read morerange of motion exam and literally two simple band exercises and they billed me almost $500. The exercises weren't anything you can't find on YouTube and I didn't feel like the range of motion exams even pinpointed the issues I was having. Honestly, $50 for the session would have been a more reasonable bill for the service that I received. Additionally, I had issues with an additional session being scheduled without my knowledge and a billing issue for which I couldn't get proper explanation. It's just a disaster from start to finish, in my experience. I've had physical therapy before at other providers and had a much better experience at far more reasonable prices.

Spectacular! That is the one word I would use to describe…read morethe results and the overall experience with Progress Physical Therapy and Wellness. From scheduling the initial appointment, insurance approval, to the final treatment, the process has been seamless. After years of shoulder and neck pain I was finally able to find relief. 5 Stars is an understatement. Pegah Shams tailors the therapy to your specific needs and evaluates your progress from start to finish making modifications as you improve. Her "hands on" approach to manual therapy and strengthening exercises are second to none. I've seen first hand that the care and compassion she shows to her patients is beyond the realm of expectation ensuring you leave feeling better than you arrived. As a result of her treatments I will continue to stretch and strengthen using the many exercises she has provided for continued relief. As I close out my therapy sessions I can't thank her enough for what she has done for me. I wish her continued success in the future and will not hesitate to recommend her services to family and friends.

Professional, friendly, respectful, attentive, and courteous. My physical therapist, Jacob Martin,…read moreevaluated an ongoing problem that was causing me to lose sleep every night and... fixed it. He was very careful to explain his approach to me, including the importance of trying one potential fix at a time. He constantly monitored my pain levels and taught me about what I needed to change to get better as well as how my body works. I gained self understanding and awareness that will serve me well in the future. Their hours are broad - the earliest therapist starts at 7:15, while others come in at 9am and stay until 6. The reception and staffing, on the other hand, like almost all doctors' offices, was less than stellar. They're very regular about calling patients the day before to remind them about their upcoming appointment, which is great. I did have some problems with billing, however, including an attempted double charge, and the receptionist who said my referral "had not arrived" when it was sitting in their inbox. Their computer system seems problematic. The experience was still a positive one. If my problem ever recurs, or if I have a new concern that this therapist can treat, I will certainly come back, and would recommend him.

Located not actually in SNW, but in the building next door, this physical therapy facility seems pretty well equipped for the treatment of all sorts of injuries. Lots of gym-like equipment, some weighted balls, private curtained treatment areas, a cool computer machine with lots of attachments for simulation of different life skills, ultrasound machine to deliver deep heat, and hot/cold packs to alleviate pain/relax muscles and whatnot. The only thing missing, I think, is a pool and hot tub. Wendy is an occupational/hand therapist , so she's been working on/with me for the rehabilitation of my elbow. Our sessions always start with a hot pad on my elbow, then Wendy manipulates my elbow into positions that it certainly doesn't want to go into. Which sucks. A lot. Again, for my own good. After that, she likes to mix it up, which I like, because I'd get bored with the same thing time after time after time. She has a pretty decent knowledge of how my insurance works and is very conscientious about the number of visits I have remaining, making the most out of each one. On the down side, Wendy is a REALLY busy lady, so scheduling can be a bit of a hassle. I've taken to scheduling a couple months out, knowing that I can cancel, if I miraculously get better faster than anticipated. Who am I kidding, I'd expected to be way better than I currently am at this point. No more timeline anticipation here. On the up side, with Wendy's help, I've made considerable progress in my recovery. When I first started, I couldn't extend my arm past a 90 degree angle. I don't have full extension yet, but it's much, much better. We're working on flexion which has been a torturous process. It'll get there. Eventually. AND I CAN WASH MY HAIR WITH BOTH HANDS NOW!
