Since 2 nerve blocks are required, I had to wait a little longer for the final 3rd visit to get the ablation. Being in the room with just him and ( Tech ) Dave was calming and relaxing. They both treated me with such tender care. My neck is doing REALLY well. Dr. Jacob Blake is 100% worth the wait.

I just moved to Tahoe Donner from the Bay Area so I'm not used to only having 1 dr. to see. He gave me a few vicadin and was supposed to call to schedule an epidural. I was getting them by a "real dr" before this idiot, I had to remind Dr. Blake to look over my MRI because he forgot he he ordered one for me before his departure from Truckee. I phoned Dr Blake's office prior to Thanksgiving. I spoke again on the answering machine. Again, no response. I'm am over it. I'll go back to Stanford where I won't get the shotty treatment. He should be ashamed of himself.

I used to have to move around as opposed to stand still at a home improvement store or anywhere else, because standing in one place was painful. In July, I was able to bend and trim hooves on all 4 goats! On the same day, as I also did 2 loads of laundry and I had NO back pain. Sure, my back was tired, but I will gladly deal with my back being tired at the end of the day, as opposed to being in pain by lunchtime! I recently went to Disneyland and did a fair amount of standing in line and by the end of each of the two days, my back was tired, but I had NO pain. And, I didn't stand there fidgeting, because of the pain, while standing in the lines.

My father was told that this was the doctor's decision and when my father asked if he could speak to the doctor, he was rudely told NO and that THIS WAS THE DOCTORS DECISION! Then my mother called and asked "why aren't you titrating him down slower?" But she was told the same thing, NO! So, not only was I being transported by car to another state (which caused me incredible pain and suffering) I was also going through withdrawals at the same time...thanks to this cruel, vile man. A genuinely terrible surgeon…read more I have bad luck in general and even worse when it comes to doctors. I was diagnosed with a pelvic fracture after a motorcycle accident. I decided to consult with Dr. Kieckbusch after an unfortunate recommendation from a nurse in the local emergency room. Dr. Kieckbusch was a little too eager to perform surgery--which should have been a red flag for me--even though I wasn't in very much pain, and I now question if my initial diagnosis was even correct. Fast forward to post surgery in the hospital: After waking up, I immediately think something is terribly wrong. I'm in excruciating pain and begging my wife to go find the doctor. Kieckbusch informs us that the level of pain I'm experiencing is completely normal after surgery and opts to increase my pain meds. I grind my teeth and somehow make it through the four day hospital stay. One week after surgery, and I KNOW something is wrong. My morning erections are pointing straight down (that's right, DOWN) and send pain radiating throughout my entire body. For the first time in my life I'm actually dreading the thought of having a boner. Three weeks post surgery: After seeing my family doctor and then a urologist, it turns out that two screws had come loose from Kieckbusch's surgery and were most likely jingling around in my pelvic cavity the entire time without him knowing or caring. Even worse, the urologist told me that Kieckbusch damaged my penile suspensory ligaments during the surgery, which explained the painful and wonky erections I'd been having ever since. Oh, and here's the best part--the urologist tells me that after repairing the damage to my suspensory ligaments, I'll lose at least an inch of length and probably still have less erection stability than I'm used to. No more cowgirl for me. I'm struggling not to cry as I type this...

Now, after two back surgeries, I cannot meet with this character, who keeps canceling my appointments; no 24 hrs notice, no consideration that I had three other appointments that day, while he goes "skiiing" on the mountains. Meanwhile, my back is in agony. I have called his office twice today to see about another appointment...with no call back. This is SO typical. So, unless you do not mind literally PAYING for an APN; while, meanwhile, the ONLY people even bothering to show up past 1 pm are the MAs, tech, and schedulers...in short, EVERYONE but a professional. No call are returned. They CANCEL you for NO cause...not, even bothering to reset you with a new appointment; or, how much pain you are in. I am not trying to reach Dr Patterson night call to see what I should do, since I am getting NO feedback from those who ONLY charge you...but, simply CANNOT BE BOTHERED TO ACTUALLY SHOW UP FOR WORK In Short, except for Dr Patterson, the Reno Offices APNs that I have had the disservice to have to deal with...the Worst...ever....
