Came here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick reset before the work week!…read more GG777 is in the downtown San Bruno area so make sure you know you will be paying for parking ($1.50/hr) if you park near! The vibes when stepping in was exactly what I wanted! Quiet, relaxing and clean. I made an appointment at 1:40pm and was able to come in anytime! Service/quality: I was introduced to Connie who immediately knew why I was coming in. I've been having neck strain on both sides (prob due to office life lolol) and she recommended instead of the normal 60min combo (feet and body) at $65, I try the 60min pain treatment that targets the source of pain at $100. Tbh at first I was thinking, this could just be a way to upcharge, but I tried it anyways and WAS I WRONG! Connie is LEGIT! I should've never questioned her! She went in on all my neck/back knots for a good 30/40mins. She went deep and cracked everything too! I would like to note that this massage was far from relaxing lol, but it was exactly what I needed! I can finally move my neck left to right and up and down. If you are looking for something to actually target chronic tightness or pain, please go here and request for CONNIE specifically for the Pain Treatment! Very sore, but I can finally move!!

Had I known I wouldn't have walked for an hour beforehand. - Rushed, swift motions, with no technique at all. - 15 minutes in, the masseuse yelled that the music was too loud. Rest of the massage was in silence. I heard people chattering, and someone hacking and coughing in the bathroom, - She forgot my entire right arm. - She did my left leg twice and barely did my right leg. - Worst of all - her nails were long. It scratched and pinched me constantly. REALLY gross. - As soon as it was done, she ran out and didn't bother closing the door. I had to get up and shut it myself. I was hoping for a relaxing Sunday but this experience ruined it. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever.

She has an intuitive touch that always finds and releases the knots and tension I build up from long hours at the computer and intense workouts. Her massages have made a huge difference in my recovery and overall well-being. The spa itself is a hidden gem. It's located in an unassuming strip mall, but don't let that fool you because the space is clean, the staff are very professional, kind, and welcoming. It looks like the spa may be under new ownership, and they're doing a great job creating a relaxing, high-quality experience. One thing to know: the staff primarily speak Mandarin, so if you call, don't hang up if there's a delay. They use live Google voice translation, which works well but takes a moment. Be patient; it's worth it. The prices are also incredibly reasonable for the level of care and skill you receive. I highly recommend May and Sea House Spa to anyone looking for true therapeutic bodywork at great value.

It was a pleasant enough experience up until it was time to tip. Despite purchasing this couples massage on Groupon, I always tip based on the original, pre-discounted cost. For a 60 minute couples massage, the price was advertised as $150 in house. I was planning on tipping the 15% on the $150 and the masseuse honestly made it really uncomfortable for me. She kept saying my entered tip amount is just 1 person and I said that's 15% of the cost of the massage. I even showed her my math on the calculator. She then said she expected at least $20 per person for the massage and that's coming up to almost 30% tip. I ended up tipping 20% and walking out and will likely not be returning. Perhaps increase the cost of the service rather than making customers feel awkward and obligated to tip higher.

While my massage therapist, Nicole, provided an excellent service, the overall experience at this…read morefacility fell far short of standard spa expectations. (60 min Massage, 30 min "Salt Sauna") Finding parking in front of the building was convenient, but locating the business on the second floor was quite confusing, as it shares an entrance with the local 24 Hour Fitness. While checking in was smooth and I opted into a $9 upgrade (hot stone, oil, and salt), the vast, empty lobby lacked the welcoming ambiance and tranquility typically expected of a professional spa. Nicole was incredibly hard-working and delivered a thorough, high-pressure deep tissue massage using effective elbow and forearm techniques. The hot stones were a nice addition, though I never noticed any salt treatment being applied despite paying for the upgrade. Unfortunately, the treatment room itself was a major disappointment. It resembled a basic hotel room furnished with an seemingly homemade wooden massage bed and a recliner. Additionally, the headrest had a noticeable odor, and the room was dusty enough to instantly trigger my allergies and cause nasal congestion. The most concerning part of the visit was the "Salt Sauna." This was simply another converted hotel room with cloth walls, plastic seating designed to look like rocks, and a few actual salt blocks on a ledge. It lacked any proper sauna components, such as an electric heater, wood-burning stove, or infrared panels. Labeling this as a sauna feels like a blatant misrepresentation. Furthermore, when I asked for a dressing room, I was instructed to change inside this makeshift sauna room. This was highly uncomfortable due to the heat, and it raised serious privacy concerns as the door featured a peephole facing inward toward the room. Upon departure, I requested a receipt for proof of service. The front desk informed me they could not provide one because the booking was made through a third party. As a customer, it is highly unusual and unprofessional for a business to refuse to provide a standard receipt confirming services were rendered on their premises. Nicole's exceptional performance is the only reason this review is not a 1-star rating. She is incredibly talented, but the management desperately needs to address the subpar facility conditions, misleading descriptions, and lack of professional privacy standard.

When I told them I didn't have cash and wanted to pay by card or Zelle, the staff member immediately asked how much tip we would give before the massage even started. He even suggested that we should tip $30 per person, which was very uncomfortable and inappropriate. I explained that I prefer to tip after the service depending on the quality, which is normal. However, the staff kept repeating "No tip?" with a very rude attitude and facial expression. I even used Google Translate to explain clearly, but they still acted disrespectfully. Then when we paid by card, they added a $2 service fee, and even if you pay by Zelle they still charge the same fee. Customers should not be forced to pay extra fees like that. What shocked me the most was that while I was talking with my friend, a male staff member started mimicking my language and laughing at us in a mocking way. That behavior is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. The massage itself was also very poor quality. We paid for a 1-hour massage, but they started counting the time immediately after payment, not when the massage actually started. During my massage, the therapist kept standing up and walking around the room, which wasted a lot of time. The environment was also terrible. The staff were talking loudly the entire time, making it impossible to relax. When my friend asked a simple question about the massage service, the staff member responded very rudely. My friend she wonder the body massage have no hand massage and he directly yell "oh come on, no"??? The place itself also smelled bad, which already made the environment uncomfortable before the massage even started. I come to this place cause my friend she reccomended here they did a very good job. Don't come here, if you don't want to waste money and time.

I paid for an hour long deep tissue massage. $70 is on the pricier side but a good massage is worth it. This one was not worth it. The massage tech didn't seem to know what she was doing. She didn't use any oil. She seemed to barely be touching me... It was like the brush of a butterfly wing. She just kept going back-and-forth back-and-forth over my back without any kind of a plan, and without any strength, and without any apparent knowledge of the musculature, I asked her to do it harder she did not. She asked if she could walk on my back and I let her do that she stayed up there for about 20 minutes. Just kind of walking back-and-forth not specifically seeming to target anything. I have an injury on my knee and I asked her to please not touch my knee, but she spent a good long time rubbing my knee and yanking on my leg, which was extremely painful. After this horrible experience, I reached out to management and asked if they could either comp me a massage or give me a discounted rate on another full body one hour massage so I could try a different technician and they have had the audacity to not even respond to my request. Terrible shoddy workmanship, and a terrible way to run a business. !!!! It took a week, but the business finally reached out to me! They offered me a complementary massage because of my terrible experience. I'm so grateful I feel like that's the right thing to do in this situation. Thank you so much!
