Front bumper needed replacing. Went to Aliotos because I'd had great experience with Crebassas in the past (Aliotos took over from them). Aliotos work on the bumper was great, probably because all the technicians from Crebassas are still there. They also defogged front headlight lenses and fixed manual adj front seat that was stuck in one position at no charge! I had a great experience from start to finish with Alioto's on a repair through a State Farm claim after my car window was smashed by a falling tree during a storm here in Marin. Everyone I spoke with from the front desk, to my estimator (Ian) to the manager (Marco) was exceptionally friendly, patient, and willing to answer my questions about the insurance process. Great, old-school customer service and immaculate work! The door on my classic Chevy truck overextended and munched the fender. It was an insurance claim. Communication was clear and swift through the process of digging into the damage & estimating the repairs. They kept me updated with photos and texts as the work progressed. I went for some extra "while you're in there" work too. All in all, they replaced the fender and door skin, abated the rust, repainted the door inside and out, repainted the hood, lined the body panels, and detailed the truck beautifully. At pick up they left me with clear instructions on how to treat the new paint to help it cure and last. The pictures demonstrate how beautiful their work is. I have been going to these guys for various things for over a decade. I have always found them to be honest, trustworthy, reliable, and did top notch work. This experience was no different. They replaced a broken window in the door of my car and I am very happy with the result. I didn't trust that an auto glass shop would be as good as a full service auto body shop like Crebassa because of the attention to detail for the whole car. They look at the paint, at the upholstery, vacuum out every last piece of glass, make sure the window isn't warped or chipped and fits perfectly, all of that is why I trust Crebassa. Do not take your car to Crebassa's. They are not trustworthy, plain and simple. Also, when I had my car towed from Crebassa's to another shop, the tow guy told me that they are the most expensive body shop in Marin. I say they are not trustworthy because when my husband went there to check out the car before the tow truck towed it to the new shop, the spare tire and grille were missing. The staff "found" them in the back of the shop. Secondly, the employee that was handling my claim, Stacey, at first was optimistic and encouraging about handling the claim and my car. The next time I went to the shop she acted like she didn't want to deal with my claim. The 2nd shop we took our car to was G&M at the gas station on the corner of Tamalpais and Casa Buena in Corte Madera. The mechanic, Augusto, is a friend of a friend. I highly recommend him. He was honest and told us how we could save money. Ultimately, we spent $5,000 less by having the car fixed at G&M. read more

I've had some bad luck with accidents over the years and Crebassa's has come to my rescue every time, repairing my trusty Toyota on a few occasions and this time my new Lexus suv after an interesting experience with my insurance company trying to persuade me to go to another shop. Everyone at Crebassa's is very friendly; I always ask for Stacey since I am more comfortable in dealing with another woman regarding car issues. Stacey is very professional and always explains what needs to done without talking over my head, which I truly appreciate. After this last accident my insurance company wanted me to use another shop in the area. I was not interested in wasting my valuable time since I have always been very satisfied with Crebassa's, so I called my agent and he informed me that I could go to any shop I wanted and that Crebassa's, in his words, "were great". So why try to send me somewhere else, I asked, especially since I really wanted to go to Crebassa's in the first place? He admitted that Crebassa's was not on the "discount program" so the company does not refer them. What do I care, I only pay my deuctible anyway and I wanted my Lexus repaired by people I trust. Lesson learned! Crebassa's repaired my Lexus promptly and returned it in pristine condition with no problems; I will never go anywhere else!! read more

These guys repaired my Prius's bumper perfectly. Someone ran their pickup into my car (while the Prius was parked in a lot), messing up the bumper pretty badly. I took it in, they quoted it fairly, billed my insurance and I couldn't have been happier! The repair is exceptional, the paint matches perfectly, you cannot tell the car had *any* work done. This guys tricked me, offered me a rental took way longer than they had told me to fix my car then I had to pay $700 for the rental which of course was something I never expected. Crebassa is awesome and I would totally recommend it to any friend! I stopped by with no appointment for an estimate ( I was rear ended) and everybody was super friendly! They explained the whole insurance deal and then took pictures of my car and email me an estimate within 2 hours! I dropped off my 2008 BMW and went for a 2 week vacation. Marco was so helpful!! He emailed me the progress of the repairs while I was away and kept me informed about additional damaged that was found. They dealt with insurance so I didn't have to do any of that! when I got back the whole trunk and back bumper were replaced and they did a fabulous paint job! My BMW really looked like new and all the sensors were working again :-) A big plus was that they touched up all the little scratches my car had for free!!! They do excellent work for a fair price. They are nice and professional to deal with, prompt, and it's easy to get an appointment. I needed some touchup work done on my van, which is older and had quite a few dings. I didn't really want to go the route of repairing everything fully, so they worked with me on a "minimalist" approach to keep the cost low. I really appreciated this flexibility since I didn't want to invest a lot of money in a car I'll probably only have for another year. Steven did my estimate and was a pleasure to deal with. I unfortunately got into an accident in my leased 2016 VW beetle convertible. Will Crebassa was a delight to work with. Although my insurance had deemed my car totaled, Will assisted me with the entire process and was extremely patient with my insurance company's delay in processing. He worked with them to have the car towed to him, took the car apart and valued the repairs. Even though the car was totaled and no work would need to be done, he took care of all the details and held the car at his shop for over a month. He is extremely patient, professional and efficient. Stan Crebassa explained the process thoroughly and kept me informed on the status of my repairs and worked with my insurance company to ensure my front bumper and any unknown damages were taken care of. The work was done very thoroughly and other scratches were polished out so that when my car was returned to me it looked totally shiny and brand new despite being 10 years old. My family has been using Crebassa's for a long time and we have always been happy. My mother is quite possibly the most difficult person to please and even she loves these guys. Recently had my Audi hit in a minor collision in San Francisco. I immediately called AAA insurance and then scheduled my appointment with Crebassa's. Generally in Marin County, it is difficult to find a business that has nice staff and fair prices, but Crebassa's is an exception. Genuinely nice people, who take pride in their work. My car ended up stayingtin the shop a couple of days longer than I anticipated, but it was well worth it. Paint job and dent fix were done perfectly and they did an extensive detail on the car, which I was unaware would happen. Fresh coat of wax put on, which has the car looking amazing. The other day, I Took my elderly parents' 2001 Lexus to Crebassa Auto Body to get an estimate to do some touch-up work here and there and all around the car to make it nicer for my Mom again. It turns out, you have to have an appointment to get an estimate for body work now-a-days at Crebassa's and the woman there, would not get their estimator to look at the car that day. I went back today with my 92 year old father after making an appointment yesterday and as it turns out, since their car is 16 years old and the fact that it wasn't going to be an insurance-paid job, Crebassa's wasn't interested in working on their car. Apparently, if your car isn't valuable enough and if they can't STICK an insurance company for high dollars, you can't get Crebassa's to do work for you. My Dad couldn't believe it. People that do business this way, should be ashamed of themselves. I give Crebassa's a "Thumbs Down" and will never go back. read more
