I have accepted it, moved on, and I am better now. Anyway, we both work and while he is the most chill dog you will ever meet, sleeping 20 hours a day, we feel bad about leaving him in his kennel when we are away at the J-O-B. Right after moving to Seattle, we got a recommendation for a walker from ta local Blog and while the service was fine at first, she went downhill fast: forgot to walk him sometimes, would come just before 5:00pm, took off with no notice and we would have to scramble to find an alternative. We happened upon David and his wife, Angela, also through WSB and we clicked immediately. They run a real business: certifications, a website, insurance, everything. They are both incredibly consciousness about what they do, have a back-up when they go on vacation, they let us know right away if there was anything out of the ordinary, AND our dog loves them. David and Angela have worked with Brodie for almost two years and I cannot give them or their service high enough praise.

David's service is the third we tried and we were not impressed with the prior two. That's not the case with David the Dog Walker. He runs his business well and has great staff. Very reliable and conscientious. We've also attended David's Good Manners 101 class and used him for one-on-one training. Before the consultation, we provided extensive background on our dog's medical history, behavioral challenges, and previous training efforts. During the session, the primary recommendation was essentially to try a variety of approaches and see what worked. Many of the suggestions were basic training and management strategies that we had already implemented and told Michelle about earlier in the consultation. My recommendation for anyone considering The Paid Pup is to request an in-person evaluation rather than a virtual consultation, particularly if your dog has complex behavioral or medical issues. Our consultation was conducted over Zoom, and the advice felt fairly generic and not tailored to the specific context we had provided about our dog. We left the consultation feeling we had not received the level of individualized assessment or guidance we had hoped for, given the information shared beforehand. When we let Michelle know that after the consultation, we wouldn't be proceeding, her entire demeanor changed, reaffirming our decision.

She came across as friendly and knowledgeable so I took her word that she was license and bonded. I gave a key to my house and figured things would be all good. Was I WRONG. I followed up with an e-mail shortly thereafter to get her License and Bond information for my records. No response. Tried another e-mail, no response. Decided to call and find out what was up, no call back. Another call, to get my key back and cancel services - no response. Ended up changing the locks on my house as a precaution. She has ALWAYS been available to pet sit, responds very quickly to texts and emails, and has been very attentive to our pets. On a recent, much longer trip out of the country, one of our cats escaped THE NIGHT BEFORE OUR 4 AM INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT. I told Melissa not to worry about trying to find him, but she went above and beyond, canvassing the neighbors, offering to make and post signs, leaving food and water out, searching for this darn escaped cat. She was very concerned and kept in touch with me via email the whole time. The cat DID come back (after we returned, and he was fine), but the point is, Melissa came through in a tough situation. He was very clean, smelled really nice, nails were clipped, and his coat was so smooth after they brushed and removed a lot of his undercoat. Eva the groomer thoroughly explained what will be done prior to the service and how long it would take. It did take about 3 hours, she said may be up to 4. Our Goldie was very happy when I went to pick him up. The owner Felicia was also there and she was very nice, friendly, and very knowledgable about dogs. I highly recommend Traci's if you're looking for a groomer for your pet dog or cat. Just be aware it may take longer, but the quality is absolutely the best.

It was clear that he spent time with them and cared about placing them in suitable homes. He also stayed interested in how the cats were doing after adoption and appreciated updates. A major factor in my decision to work with Louis was his focus on breeding healthy cats. He makes an effort to maintain genetic diversity by importing breeding cats from different regions rather than relying on closely related lines. This was important to me because long-term health was a higher priority than achieving a particular show or competition look for me. After adopting my 2 retired queens from Louis. I have considered other options when I decided I wanted another kitten. I looked at shelters and private listings, but ultimately returned to Louis because I felt more comfortable with his breeding program and his emphasis on health. Finding a kitten with a strong genetic background and a stable start in life was important to me. The kitten I adopted has been healthy, confident, and has an excellent temperament. He's affectionate, energetic, and very attached to me. He also integrated well with my other cats, and they have become the bestest siblings. I also appreciated that Louis exposed his kittens to a variety of foods early in life. I feed my cats a raw diet, transitioning my older cat from dry food to raw was a much more difficult process. In contrast, my kitten adapted to a raw diet immediately after coming home and had no issues with the transition. I would recommend Louis to anyone looking for a breeder who places importance on the health and well-being of his cats.
