We had a great moving experience using this company and will be referring friends and family. After contacting several moving companies for quotes and availability AAM (All Aboard Movers) beat out the rest. Philip and Jerry were our crew guys and ensured our furniture was properly wrapped and packed to be transported from house to house. We appreciate their hard work and taking the time to disassemble and reassemble furniture and appliances that needed the attention. They made the dreaded move go so smooth, with very reasonable pricing. Note that they do charge extra for using wrap but it's worth it to protect your furniture. While the movers were very polite and maintained a professional demeanor, they damaged our entertainment beyond repair. The movers were apologetic and assured us that they would take care of it since the company had insurance. Our entertainment center cost over 800 dollars and the piece that was broken was a vital piece as it holds our entertainment center together. Later, they stated that the insurance covered 43 dollars and the owner ever so graciously (insert sarcasm) offered to pull out of his own pocket 7 dollars to make it an even 50. We told him the amount to replace that piece and asked to replace it instead he did not agree to replace what they damaged. We have a storage that needs moving and asked for services to move a few boxes from storage. He offered it at a discount. The discount they initially gave us was 60 an hour. They do not stick by their word on their website to protect us and our property. Their insurance is worthless. We tipped their guys 50 dollars for their courtesy and kindness and their assurance to take care of the damages. I would not take their offer to move our tiny storage because I figured what if they damage something else. we are actually losing money by hiring this company. I do not recommend this company at all. I wouldn't even accept a free move from them any longer (if they even offered that) with how we were treated...as if our valued things are none of their concern. we weren't asking for something unreasonable just to pay the price of the broken piece for us to order or them purchase the part that they broke themselves. Everything worked out great at first. I first found location that could help me look for an apartment. Not going to mention the agency that helped me find an apartment-they Were and are great. The apartment locator suggested All Aboard Movers. First 2 hours free and just over $200 every hour after. The mover did a pretty good job. Until, until they scratched and peeled up part of the wood floor. At least the paper portion. See this was a piece of furniture that was and is special to me. It is a tv stand/dresser. However it is pretty heavy. After the move was over we had passed the 2 hour mark. So over the phone I spoke with Steve at All Aboard Moving. I can't tell anyone what Steve's position is at All Aboard Moving. He was the one I dealt with when making the arrangements however. Steve is also the individual that did not lean forward or backwards much less bend over backwards to help me resolve the problem. I explained to him what happened. I wasn't mad at the movers, nor was I estactic though. Hard working movers terrible business operator. Recommendation, hire the movers only, do not - do not deal with Steve. That's it. actually one more thing. In not willing to work with me and figure out a solution to the problem that the movers did make, (I still like the movers by the way) Steve left me hanging with a $1,330(+) bill. The cost to repair the floor. Hey, thanks Steve! I had plans for that money. Now poof, gone. Asta La Vista Baby! Oh well it is what it is. Never hired movers before, but thank God we hired these guys! Made moving so easy and got it done in no time! We moved from a 1bed/1bath in Universal City to a 1bed/1bath in Stone Oak. And we went from a third floor to a second floor, so I anticipated these guys to take a while because of all the flights of stairs involved in the move. But Jesse and Mike surprised the heck out of me when they moved us out in less than an hour !! Me and my husband have mad respect for Mike, he carried a sectional down three flights of stairs all by himself ! Dear God, that man is strong! We had a little problem with our new apartment complex releasing the keys to us, we had no choice but the wait for the problem to be resolved, but these guys made up for lost time and moved us in in about half an hour. I must say that they were late arriving to our place, we were scheduled for first thing in the morning and was told they would get there at around 9, well they were an hour late and started working at 10:30, but the fact that these guys were so fast and efficient I could not give them a bad rating for that. I just had All Aboard pack a moving pod for my upcoming move out of state. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. When I contacted them, it was refreshing to have the owner answer the phone immediately and discuss everything with me. Justin was very helpful and the rate quoted was among the best I've found. They will even give a 5% discount if you pay cash. A few days before they were scheduled to come, I called him with a few packing questions and to ease overall anxiety I had about the move and he called me back ASAP and was happy to talk. I also got a call the night before. The two guys assigned to my job were prompt and friendly and worked fast and efficiently. More importantly, they read the "FRAGILE" writing I put on some boxes and were careful. They were happy to incorporate my own blankets and towels as padding to save me money. They didn't mind putting the mattress/box spring covers on for me, and they wrapped up all the big items in plastic wrap that I provided for protection. Everything was carefully packed into the pod and they tied down whatever they could, so that all my stuff will hopefully arrive safe and sound on the other end. If I was staying in the area I would use All Aboard for every move going forward. But because I'm not, allow me to recommend them highly to anybody who needs reliable, affordable movers. read more

I called and spoke with Abel about getting movers and everything in the initial phone call went great. Abel was very nice and professional on the phone. The day before my move I got a call saying that he was unaware that his boss has booked another client in roughly the same time period and could they move my start time back a tad, max an hour from noon to 1:00 pm. I said sure no problem. He stated that he had my move scheduled from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm then On the day of the move I called Abel at 1:15 as no one had showed up yet and no answer. I left a message. After not hearing anything for 20 minutes I called again and Abel answered. He said they were 5-10 minutes away. 12 minutes later Abel called me back and asked to speak to "Mary" about the gate. I was confused by this and stated this was not Mary. He apologized and hung up. I got concerned by this and called him back 5 minutes later. By this time it was 2:10. He then understood who I was and said tried to tell me that when I had spoke to him the day before that he had schedule the move to start between noon and 3:00 pm. I told him that was not the case and asked if they would be at my house by 3:00 then? He told me no, probably wouldnt be there until 4:00 as they had hit traffic (on a Sunday?) and were running late. I told him this was unacceptable and he let me know he would work something out with me on the rate. We hung up then. Around 3:30 I got a call from another man giving me a courtesy call that they would be there in 30 minutes. He was very nice and professional as well but had to call a couple of times to confirm my address. I was confused by this as Abel had very carefully written everything down in our initial phone call and had read back it all back to me. Well at 4:00 pm on the dot the movers showed up....but it was not All Aboard Movers. They had contracted out to AAA Discount Movers. When the guy was explaining the rate I let him know the situation and he called his boss to see what to do. I tried to call Abel multiple times as well as he did and his boss...but Abel did not answer. As this was not this companies fault I signed the papers to get the move going. I never heard back from Abel again. Not to say I'm sorry, not to explain the situation, not to reduce the rate, etc. My move got done 3 hours later than expected on a Sunday night which made for a rough Monday! The guys from AAA Discount Movers did an EXCELLENT job! If I could give them 0 stars, I would. First of all the movers Adrian and Abel were 40 minutes late. Second, Adrian insisted on getting a huge tip AFTER THEY CHIPPED MY WOODEN DESK, DRESSER AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTER. Third, they worked really slow since they were getting paid by the hour and most of all when I called Justin (the owner) to complain about my damaged furniture, he said "I would receive an email from the company within 20 days." It's now been two months and still have yet to receive an email. I called him again and he never called me back. VERY DISAPPOINTED. read more

Easy to schedule. The crew was efficient, friendly and showed up a little early which was great! Only one issue: the crew stopped with 5 pieces of my furniture left on the truck to "prepare the truck for the next customer" which constituted folding and stacking all the blankets. When I called in the payment to the manager, I told him the move went well, complimented his crew, but asked if it was customary for his crew to fold blankets for the next customer while still on the clock with me. I explained it took 30 mins for me to inspect my furniture for damage and complete paperwork which would be a great time for folding. Justin didnt take kindly to my question and forgot their good customer service for a bit. All in all a good experience, nothing damaged to speak of (which is probably what matters most), just expect to pay for the next customers' blanket folding. read more

Yep, five stars from me. I move every 12 months, so I know a good moving company when I see it. Abel and his son were on time, professional, and friendly. They wrapped my furniture in shrinkwrap and blankets, and they knew how to pack the truck. They also drove the truck in a safe manner, so I knew my stuff wasn't bouncing around. Let me add that their pants weren't around their knees and they didn't reek of cigarette smoke or booze (yes, I've experienced both with movers in San Antonio). I called around for quotes before choosing All Aboard Movers and found their prices to be comparable to other reputable companies. They don't charge extra for stairs or for materials, and they offer a 5% discount for cash payment. They also hooked up my washer and dryer, and put my bed back together. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I'll definitely use this company when I move again. read more

Great Movers. Scheduled them at 9:30am. They showed up and started at exactly the scheduled time. Both movers were extremely professional, courteous and careful. They finished moving an entire 3 bedroom house, along with breaking down the beds and shrink wrapping the mattresses. As well as Shrinking wrapping all the larger furniture such as computer desk and tv stands. Nothing was damaged or broken. Everything was well packed into the uhaul. Glasses and tv were wedged between soft mattresses for the long hail to Dallas. They did not try to stretch out the time and finished in 2.5 hours flat. Price was extremely reasonable. We recently used All Aboard Movers (Abel, Joe, and Eric) for our move. I was mostly satisfied with their service. Our apartment and storage unit were loaded efficiently and they were careful with all of our items. They were polite and friendly. Prices were comparable to other moving companies and had the best deal we found at the time. A few items made me rate them a 3 instead of higher. 1. I was told they would arrive between 9-9:30am. They did not arrive until 10 and I was their first appointment of the day. 2. They asked to stop on the way to our new house to get some beverages. This added approximately 15-20 minutes to the time (which was still paid for by me). Call me crazy, but I bring my lunch with me to work. If this is your job, you should come prepared. I have no problem if you need to pause for a water/bathroom break, but you should not have to drive to a store to get your beverages. (Also, I had already offered them water bottles which they took). In addition, the gas station they stopped at made it difficult for them to follow me or me to follow them, leading to several nervous minutes wondering if that was the last time we would see the truck. They got the job done, but not sure if we'll use them again. read more

I used All Aboard Movers recently to move from San Antonio to Austin. They did a great job and the crew was very professional, taking care to wrap items properly and even wrapping the edge of the doorway to make sure nothing would scrape or hit on the way in or out. Being on a tight schedule, I called them about a week in advance of the move and had them do the packing as well. The packing crew arrived on time and so did the moving team later that afternoon. They were kind enough to stop off at a local Goodwill on the way to Austin so that I could drop off some furniture that I wanted to donate. All in all, Justin and his team were fantastic. They are professional movers and work quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend them to anyone planning a move either locally or to Austin. I would definitely use them again. read more

Several days before the move Justin contact me to see if I had any questions and to finalize details. The day of the move Gerald called to let me know they were on their way. They arrived on time and went straight to work. They were careful and efficient, always asking questions to make sure they were doing what we wanted. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We scheduled our mover for 3:30. No one came. We left a message, no one called us back. We called multiple times, finally were told at 4:15, they will be here in an hour. At 5, we were informed by the manager that he could not get a hold of the movers that suppose to come, and offered to come the next day. By 5:30, the manager said they can be here in 45 min (am I to trust that??). By now, we have contacted multiple movers, only professional movers san Antonio could help us, given that we started looking for a moving company at 5 and agreed to come out today. read more

I used All Aboard Movers two times and they were great. Excellent movers. They did tell me that they work for tips. I always give tips for good service, but did not like being told. They were good and each received a $20 tip. However, I asked them to help me once again. They would not answer their phone. When I did get them on the phone they agreed to call back with all the info needed. They never called back. WARNING!!!! We have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with these people not only broke several of our items but also stole a lamp. I say this because to this date, three weeks after the move we have never received it. Well, they got all my stuff from my old house into my new one...so that's good. HOWEVER...they damaged a dresser that I specifically told them to be careful with. Rather than carrying it by hand they threw it up long ways on a metal dolly, the bottom of which had bare metal, and scratched a bunch of paint off a freshly refinished dresser. When I brought it to their attention they immediately started making excuses, saying it was already damaged, before finally admitting they did it but telling me to "just get some touch up paint and fix it myself." One of the guys screamed at me and told me they were not going to finish my move. He then went outside and started loudly talking about me to the other workers. For a few minutes I literally thought the guy was gonna punch me. Not the best customer service I've ever experienced. I called Justin the owner during the move and he admitted that the worker in question has gotten grumpier with age and the wasn't the first time he's had issues with him. If it were my business I'd make sure my employees didn't scream at the customer. And I'd probably offer a discount if my guys damaged furniture in addition to screaming at the customer. Other than being afraid of getting punched and the damaged furniture they did alright with the move. read more

I had requested movers to help me with a move and had explicitly stated that I had to be out of my apartment at 6pm. I was promised that the movers would arrive between 1-3pm. The day of the move I was told the time would be 4pm..then 5pm..by 5:45 no one had shown up so I had to call and cancel! With 15 minutes left I had to complete the move myself with no offer to make things right on their end. When I attempted to ask for owner "Justin" s information I was given the runaround from Abel. I have never dealt with anyone so unprofessional, Ineffective, and poorly communicative. Would NOT recommend. read more
