I, too, was excited to see that they offer chicken sandwiches after the rebranding, as my go to used to be a grilled cheese. I feel like they must've listened to Victoria's critique, because my sandwich had a thick, seasoned piece of chicken and it was good. They do need to toast the buns though. I added bacon, cheddar, lettuce, and tomato, and ordered the Cajun fries and Heath shake, which is my idea of a good comfort meal. It's not the best chicken sandwich, but it'll hit the spot. If you've been to a Five Guys burgers this is very similar - big burgers, built your way with a selection of toppings, and sides / drinks a-la-cart. The burgers are really tasty and they have a large number of topping options which are free. They don't short-change you on the fries either; you'll get plenty. I recommend their A Sauce; very tasty on their fries. Milkshakes are also good; I had the strawberry. Service was okay and restaurant was clean on both of my visits. The only negative I have is, just like Five Guys, the cost of a meal quickly adds up for a burger with fries and a drink. One meal will likely cost you $12-15. I didn't have dinner plans tonight, so I decided to try takeout from All About Burger. I hadn't been before, but I was impressed by the decor inside, reminiscent of an especially futuristic diner (to say nothing of their excellent Halloween decorations!). I waited for my number to be called for about ten minutes. It wasn't fast, but not slow either. Then I brought my food back to my apartment and ate it while I watched some TV. Here are my thoughts on the food itself: I got a turkey burger with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, pickle relish, and ketchup. It tasted pretty good, although the main criticism of my meal was that the buns were too thin for the amount of sog that the burger carried. It nearly fell apart in my hands by the time I got to my last bite! Now, this may be my fault for getting too many wet toppings, or for getting takeout. Their main focus, the hamburger, may also be less soggy than my turkey burger was, but then again, it's not All About Hamburger, it's All About Burger, period. Came here after seeing Dave at the Arena Stage with my mom, and we both enjoyed the food and the milkshake. Food came out quick, it was hot (and in fact, the fries stayed hot during our entire meal), cooked exactly how I wanted it, and the bananas foster milkshake was delicious. The woman who took our order was friendly, and we chatted with her for a moment regarding the show and told her that she should go see it if she got a chance. Honestly, I'd have rated the place higher, if it wasn't for the bullet hole in the front glass window, that caused 2 of them to be completely intact, but shattered nonetheless. Good flavor and you can customize them. I always add fresh jalapeño peppers to mine, along with the usual: lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, ketchup, mustard. Gotta have it all. Oh and of course: cheese. Buns are pretty good too! Their unseasoned fries could be improved. They lack salt and aren't crispy enough. For some reason the seasoned ones have a better texture, so I recommend those. Got takeout from here. The standout for me was the cheesesteak, especially the bun - it perfectly absorbed liquid without becoming a mushy mass. The rest (fries, milkshake, chicken sandwich) was decent. I ordered online and apparently the interface isn't great so it got marked ready but wasn't actually ready yet when I went inside. Not docking any points for that, just letting you readers know that you might end up waiting a few more minutes than you think. The inside looks like it was nice in the pre-COVID era; now it's set up where you come in to see chairs stacked upside down and floor stickers advising you to keep distance from others. The kitchen area is separated from the waiting area by some kind of plastic wrap and the employees are all wearing masks and gloves. I appreciated that they were taking precautions to keep themselves and customers safe. The food is good to great. Definitely reminiscent of Five Guys as others noted in terms of a simple menu of burgers and shakes with similar toppings and pricing. I was not expecting the chicken sandwich to be made with grilled chicken (was expecting fried) so I was a little disappointed in it, but it wasn't dry or unpleasant. Fries are very Five Guys - giant pile, soft and pliable, option for "cajun" seasoning. The milkshake was tasty - great for a summer night in DC - but it reminded me of a rule I keep trying to remember that if a place has 50 options for milkshakes then they're just all the same with a slightly different thing mixed in and won't be particularly good as a This Milkshake or a That Milkshake. It's just going to be a regular vanilla milkshake with not enough of whatever flavor you actually wanted. The cheesesteak was the big surprise - not something on the menu at Five Guys. The bun was perfect as I noted above. The steak was tender and not stringy. The cheese was nicely mixed in and was noticeable while not upstaging the steak. I was feeling brave and added sauerkraut as a topping which worked well here. I wouldn't say the sauerkraut is good on it's own since it's not nearly sour enough but in the sandwich it was great. The first thing I enjoyed was the decor of the restaurant. It makes callbacks to an old school 50s diner, but with a sleek, modern look. The burgers were also really good. They were the right amount of juicy and savory, and the flavour was close to one of the best burgers I've ever had. The fries were also pretty good. They were homestyle fries, which I like, but I just wish they had a little more salt of them. I recommend getting the cajun fries, as the seasoning adds a nice flavour that complements the burgers well. The service is also pretty good. The cahsierz were nice and friendly, and our food was out pretty quick. I also would recommend getting the AA sauce, as it is nice to pair with your fries or your burger. I've been in and ordered from this location a number of times and the food is good. Based on my most recent experience, I won't give this location any more money. I ordered for delivery, and it never showed up. I asked whoever answered the phone if they made my order and he wouldn't answer me. I asked to speak to his manager, and he wouldnt let me. He finally rattled off what I ordered but never confirmed it was made, just said he thought the driver picked it up about ten minutes ago. Horrible customer service cancels out a semi-decent burger.
