Really liked the vibe at this little sandwich shop by the waterfront in downtown DC. A full menu screen and self-ordering kiosk available upon entry. A lot of activity going on at lunch time as delivery drivers are in and out grabbing orders. That's a good sign. No skimping on the meat here and I love their fresh rolls. If I was going to make one suggestion it would be to melt the cheese into the meat with some spatula action rather than just dumping the cheese on top. Nice seating indoors and outdoors on a beautiful day.
Was craving a poolside sando so I had one delivered. I got the marathon and added hot cherry peppers. Food service came quick enough. This is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had - fresh, filling without being heavy, every component was delicious and perfect. Could maybe share with some chips on the side, it took all my will power not to finish it in one go!
I ordered delivery from Grazie Grazie and everything arrived hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! I tried the Philly Special cheesesteak, the mozzarella cubes, and an arugula side salad, and all 3 delicious! The mozzarella cubes stole the show--crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside, and still hot even after delivery. The cheesesteak was rich and flavorful, with the bacon adding a savory touch that made it stand out. The pepper mayo gave it a little kick--tasty, but a bit spicier than I expected, so I'll skip that next time. The arugula salad was fresh and bright, and the dressing was incredible--light yet full of flavor, the perfect balance to the hearty sandwich. It was a great lunch day! Grazie Grazie really took care with the order delivery was one of the best and well packaged!
The sandwiches were ok, but I was shocked that we spent $40 for 2 sandwiches and a bottle of water. Service was fine, we ordered from the computer at the front and our food was brought to our table once it was ready. What I could not get over was how absolutely filthy the roof above the dine in area was! It was full of dirt, dust and cobwebs. I watched a spider make its way down a web to the table next to us. Every time the door opened, there was a draft which caused all the gross stuff on the ceiling to blow and particles to fall. A cleaning is desperately needed!
Big sandwiches, delicious mozzarella cubes and toffee cookies! Def get the mozz cubes, but you need to eat them right away to get the good cheese pull. It comes with sauce to dip in. There are many sandwich options, seems like the minelli is peoples favorite. Cannoli was okay...the toffee cookie was amazing. You need it for sure. Maybe get one to go as well. Indoor and outdoor seating. Both are a bit limited if the wharf is busy. Outdoor seating is 4 picnic benches. Bathroom available.
The DC area lacks sandwich/sub shops, so I was glad to find Grazie Grazie. It's very casual, which is appreciated in this area. Ordering is via kiosk, which I wasn't sure would work for me, but you can customize your order, which I loved. You pick up your order at the counter and they bring drinks over. It's not a huge place but there is a decent amount of seating. However, the black chairs are very uncomfortable and so much lower than the table, so it was awkward, hence the three stars. I ordered the Retzo, which is breaded chicken (or grilled), arugula, pecorino, basil, Calabrian hot honey, and lemon ricotta (I removed the prosciutto). There wasn't any basil on my sandwich, but it was otherwise delicious and filling. I absolutely loved it. My aunt liked her sandwich. I really want to try the risotto balls or mozzarella sticks on my next visit.
From my 12yo son: There's a lot of things to consider, especially since I have been around the world tasting Italian pizza from gourmet pizza, and this pepperoni pizza was at the top. The charcoal oven is pretty good and the dough is amazing. The crust is puffy but not too puffy, but very nice. They add Romano to the pizza, which was very good and the cheese was perfect texture. They had make it look like it was a mixture of gourmet type of restaurant and casual. The service was very well and I am very pleased to say that this is one of my favorite pizzas.
The food looks amazing... taste was lacking. The Philly was super greasy and we could not finish it. No flavor very blah. The Chicken sandwich( La Notte )with the onion straws on top was amazing. Good seasoning good flavor all around. One suggestion... change the bread on your subs, we left a lot of bread and ate the meat inside.
I have seen this popular sandwich spot all over my feed and have been wanting to try it for ages. I got the NYC Bodega and 8+1. They do not skimp on the filling as both of them were stuffed. The 8+1 was like your standard Italian that focused on good ingredients. The NYC Bodega was unique as it had juicy thin chicken cutlets that were paired with a creamy/tangy Caesar's salad. Slightly pricey for sandwiches but they were a good size and yummy!

The steak was moist and tender, cheese was gooey and the bread had just the right firmness. Peppers added just enough heat. The sandwich was quite filling. Maybe a little pricey considering it didn't come with a side, but probably reasonable for this part of DC.
All I have to say is OH MY GOD! These sandwiches are outstanding. It brought tears to my eyes. My tastebuds were so grateful. That is the only way to express my feelings about this place. My husband had heard great things about this place and kept talking about going to check them out, and I am so glad we did. We had the Risotto Balls; NYC Bodega, the Philly Special, the waffle fries and Sanpellegrino Limonata, which were simply delicious. Our friend had a customized cheesesteak that looked really good as well. The interior design is reminiscent of establishments such as Chipotle or Shake Shack. In terms of seating, there is a reasonable amount available, operating on a first-come, first-served basis with self-seating. Orders are placed via a kiosk, and the food is promptly prepared and served hot. I cannot wait to go back. I can just taste it now.

I can see how this was rated top lunch spots in the wharf! I found this on Yelp while looking for food in the area, and so glad I did! I ordered the Marathon which has turkey and prosciutto. I also added Cherry peppers to give it some spice. This sandwich was SO good and big enough to share amongst two people. I could have done just half. You order on a self kiosk and then they call your number for pick up. Simple concept with cute decor inside. If you don't feel like a sandwich, there was also cheesesteaks and pizzas! Definitely try if you are in the area! read more

Grazie Grazie is a great spot when you want good food fast without sacrificing quality. The menu pricing definitely reflects its Warf location, but the portions and freshness make it worth it. The inside has a fun vibe -- I loved the creative pizza‑box wall décor. I ordered a salad and was impressed by how generous they were with the chicken. The dressing had great flavor, and all the ingredients tasted fresh. We also tried a hot sandwich, which was big enough that we ended up taking half home. Grazie Grazie is always hyped up so finally decided to give it a try after a Nats game. When you walk in they have tablets to order on with no cashiers. I got the NYC Bodega which is essentially a fried chicken cutlet with a ceaser salad on a roll. It was good but not life changing. The food came out quickly. They have lukewarm water available but a can of Diet Coke is $3.50 which is outrageous, even for the Wharf. The restaurant itself is cute and relatively clean but a lot of wobbly tables. I might go back to try other things but won't be rushing in. read more

This is a small-sized hip sandwich shop. Menu is trendy and you can customize your order to get whatever you want. Salad was like most salads at a sandwich shop - greens disproportionate to the toppings. Order on an iPad. Only canned drinks, two bathrooms, and water dispenser with tiny cups. They were cool with us refilling our water bottle on this 95 degree day. We came from Arlington Cemetary (uber) on our way to Smithsonian. Recommend! And the waterfront is a neat area to walk around before more sightseeing. Four stars - the salad, 5 stars if it was a review on the sandwiches read more
First time trying this since moving to DC ordered takeout was ready in less than 15 minutes the appetizers had a lot of flavor and the batter they use for the mozzarella sticks and the risotto taste very authentic, the marinara sauce that they pair with them it's probably some of the best tasting marinara I've had. Now for the cheesesteaks, all the vegetables were thinly sliced tasted fresh the cheese they had a very robust flavor but paired well with the steak and the steak had just a phenomenal flavor very savory salty and the way it mended with the vegetables sauce and cheese just packed so much flavor. Left me feeling very very full and satisfied. We'll have to come back and try other items on the menu. Also the staff was very friendly and kind when I approach them about my order. The sandwiches are huge. You are getting your moneys worth! I WAS GRATEFUL FOR THE VEGAN/VEGGIE options. We ordered online but pickup was a breeze. Ok the place it self is nice! The inside has decent seating and also some spots outside. You order on touch screens so for you introverts you don't have to talk to people haha. So ordering and getting food took 6 mins tops didn't seem to busy but they were pumping orders out left and right. Food was fresh and hot. And I ate outside and it stayed hot the entire time I was eating it. I got the Philly cheesesteak house cheese the Philly it self was good if you're in the area I'd recommend would I drive an hour for it ehhh not so sure. The meat was decent. Honestly coulda have just had the bread and cheese and would have been the same. 7/10 cheesesteak. Decent size average eater will definitely be full. read more

I came here for a post drinks dinner with friends and it was empty on a Sunday night. You can mobile order for takeout or come in person and order electronically. My friend saw this place recommended on Tiktok and we wanted a filling post drinks meal and this served beautifully! Vodka Saucy 4.5/5, I ordered this without even looking at other menu items the instant I read Vodka Sauce, something I immensely crave often. I ordered this with breaded chicken and no alterations. This was a very good and filling sandwich, I would only wish it was a bit spicier but this is personal preference. NYC Bodega 4/5, my two friends got this one. While they both enjoyed the sandwich, one noted that she would have preferred a parmesan cheese instead of pecorino. read more

Pretty good sandwich place. I got the chopped Italian which was nice. Definitely a good portion and could have been split between two people. My partner got the meatball sandwich, it was ok but the meatballs weren't very flavorful. The fries were good, crispy outside and nice soft inside with nice seasoning. Service was good, we ordered at the kiosk and then found an open seat. The food was brought to our table when ready. The restaurant was pretty busy while we were there but never seemed overly crowded. I'd like to go back and try some of the other sandwiches. read more

I just ordered Uber eats and my sandwich was sooo good! I got the BYO CHEESESTEAK with coppers sharp, dukes Mayo, add cherry pepper Mayo and grilled onions!!!!! 10/10 I visited here before but my sandwich was not this good I'm impressed! Will be going back to try other things ASAP read more

What a delicious experience! We stopped by while doing some shopping at the Wharf. Be aware that parking at this location can be a bit difficult due to lots of people. I tried the Retzo sandwich with breaded chicken cutlet inside. The texture of the chicken was perfectly crispy and the hot honey and sauce complimented the sandwich well. The bread was nice and crusty without being too tough to bite into. The arugula and parm also tasted fresh. We also tried the mozzarella cube appetizer and it definitely hit the spot. Would recommend checking Grazie Grazie out if in the area! read more
This is a tiny little spot off the wharf that is way more than just the sandwiches you initially assume. We loved that you could order online if you wanted, but we wanted to eat in store so we passed. The problems I found with this place were a couple. There isn't much seating inside or out so we were lucky things were open when we got there. There is no AC and no open doors or windows so there was much airflow which made it feel stuffy and hot (not really what you want when eating hot food and sandwich's). Problem two is, there is no water unless you buy a bottle. Trying to eat heavy food without water is terrible. Add in the heat and it was pretty terrible. The good stuff was the food. Overall everything was very tasty it just didn't seem quite solid. It felt like it was just thrown together without much thought. The chicken tenders were spicier than my kid could handle which made most options on the menu inedible for anyone with a sensitivity to spice. The fries were not balanced properly with ingredients and felt heavy on top and bare in the middle and bottom because everything was already gone (no layering). Service didn't really exist as everything was truly self serve, so if you don't like that... don't go here. read more

If you are in the Wharf area and looking for something filling and refreshing, then this a place to pull up. The service is quick and if you want to dine in there is plenty of space indoors and outdoors. What we had: The marathon -9/10 The menelli - 10/10 Both had tons of flavor, veggies, meat and a nice size portion. It is an entire sub so if you want to split with someone that could work too. Def recommend when in the wharf especially if you are on the move. read more

Place was packed when we came, but to our surprise everything came out quickly. Self ordering was easy. Portions are huge and very affordable for the size! Everything was delicious. I really enjoyed the risotto balls, they were like a hybrid between traditional arancini and mozzarella sticks. The Philly fries were incredible. Fries were fresh and crispy, then topped with goodness! The peppers added a nice mild spice level. Pasta salad was a surprisingly large portion! read more
