Went last night for a quick bite to eat before seeing a show at Arena Stage. We wanted to go to Shake Shack, but didn't have enough time to walk there and make it back for the show. The nice thing about this location is you are just 2 blocks away from the theatre, and the food comes out quick. But food coming out quick doesn't always mean it is good. I ordered a single bacon cheese burger, the cheese was in no way melted, which means it isn't placed on the burger on the grill and the burger isn't hot enough to even melt the cheese, which was clear when i ate my burger and it tasted like it sat around for a while. We also ordered fries that had ZERO salt on them, salt is flavor, they were also soggy, clearly not made to order. The iced tea machines also had no tea in them, which was what i wanted to drink, so i ended up drinking water in the drink cup i paid for. I will say that the cashier was nice. read more

First observation was that the floors could use a good cleaning but what really did me in was when one of the food preparers was running has hands through his hair (no gloves) then proceeded to return to preparing food still no gloves and I did not see him wash his hands. I went to this place on 10/27/2019 with my 2 daughters. We ordered 1 hot dog ("kid's meal") and 2 turkey burgers with french fries. I felt robbed when I had to pay $35.00 and found out that they charged us separately for each fountain drinks, and it seems that they charged us for each "toppings" like Mayo, ketchup. We ordered small fries each and still had two whole orders left over!! Try their house sauce and mango mayo!!! Such a great dipping option for the fries!!!! After dinner, we all had shakes. The first thing I'm greeted by when ordering was a rude lady that I couldn't even understand. I was being respectful but she was just so rude. I finally got through the painful ordering process and was excited to try this new burger joint. I finally get my food and the order is wrong. I asked for a burger with lettuce, mustard, ketchup, and onions. I was surprised when I didn't have lettuce. I then waited my arrival of my strawberry shake. I found out about this place because they were offering 2 dollar burgers at the metro stop outside Waterfront. So i decided to give it a shot. Considering the burger (with cheese) fries and a drink came to 9 bucks, the normal price of this meal would have been closer to 15 bucks, so this is in essence more expensive than Five Guys and BGR and on par with Bobby's Burger Palace. Unfortunately, I rate the burger as below Five Guys, but better than the Legacy fast food places (McDonald, Wendys and Burger King). The closest approximation to this burger is Z-burger, which is slightly cheaper than this place. The only saving grace about the burger is that they do not overcook, at it defaults at a medium to medium well, which in my opinion, is to its benefit. However, even that did not improve the flavor of the burger past the meh stage. Their fries on the other hand were delicious. Ultimate judgment. If you are in the area or work there, its not a bad place for lunch. However, this would not be my go to place if i wanted a burger. I would definitely go elsewhere, pay the same amount or less, and get a superior burger. read more

This place has my favorite turkey burger in the city. Be sure to order your fries seasoned with a side of a sauce! I was very nice because I understand mistakes happen but when they refused to try to correct the problem, I was upset... They told me I could get a discount next time, which doesn't work because I am leaving in the morning to go back home. They told me I had to call the UberEATS driver to fix it but it was NOT his fault and I could not get ahold of him anyways. Formerly Z-Burgers, still has amazing burgers and is a quick place to grab a bite on lunch break. Food is great, service is quick, love the outdoor seating and the location across the street from the Waterfront Metro stop makes it perfect for a game day visit - the distance from Nats Stadium means less chance of long lines for food but still well within walking distance of the stadium. read more

Very good burger. Most comparable to a Five Guys burger but a half step up. They also give a lot of fries for an order, but those are more unique. I got them with Cajun seasoning- really tasty with just the right amount of spice. They're the kind of fries with a lot of little crispy bits mixed in with the full size fries which is just the way I like it. This review is mainly about the burgers. This establishment is very close to the middle school I work at and I often see students there and students will often request lunch from here. After ordering birthday lunch for a student I decided to try one of their burgers. I understand they are trying to mimic the "five guys" experience, with a limited menu and unlimited toppings. The main difference is that five guys burgers are very fresh and all about burgers are not. It tasted as if I were eating a McDonald's burger, which I could get for much cheaper, and honestly it's much more juicy than what I experienced. The service was very kind but the food was average. I had a bacon burger, fries, and onion rings. The onion rings had too much dough around them for me. The special sauce and seasoning they had were a little too spicy. The burger was cooked well, but didn't taste over the top. Burgers are a tough business because they are sold everywhere!
