He had been surrendered twice before finding his forever home. He's smart, high energy, and eager to learn, but doesn't get along well with other dogs. After his AADO evaluation, we enrolled him in Boot Camp. Within a couple days he was socializing with all the other dogs. Within a couple of weeks, he was attending classes. He's made huge strides in a short amount of time. It's obvious how much AADO loves the dogs in their care. Bodie is thriving. He gets excited every time we pull into the parking lot. I've been going here for about a year and a half and I would not let another soul train my dog. They are a family business and care a lot about your pups. They're realistic and down to earth. We have been at All About Dog Obedience for over a year and I thought it was high time to write a review.. They're amazing! We have two German Shorthaired Pointers.. dogs we were told by others are the "Crack adicts of the dog world".. And they really are.. but we love them. AADO has been a huge asset to us and them. They love going, Rocco, our 90 lb puppy is incredibly obedient and gentle now. And, Harper, our 8 year old recovering puppy mill mama, is just such a happy, lovely, confident soul. Both have totally different needs. Rocco needs a strong hand and consistency and Harper is more fragile and required a lot of careful love and attention at the beginning. Now they both jump out of the car with tails wagging going to see their friends at school. Brandy is amazing - you see her with a crowd of dogs and they are all listening and Rob is incredible at instruction - the dogs get it immediately. No yelling or drama just focused and clear instruction. We take our dogs off leash all the time and they stay close and listen. We are looking forward to doing more training ourselves to be better puppy parents and keep the training going for them. We took our 1 year old Cocker Spaniel to Rob & Brandi. When we took him he would bark aggressively at anyone who would come close to the car. He was also a Covid pup so he was not very socialized. We had him complete the 6 weeks on site boarding classes. When we came back after the six weeks we had a much well behaved cocker spaniel. He was not barking at everyone, he was very well behaved. We will continue to take classes with him to keep him fine tuned. Love that they have day camps too. I would highly recommend All About Dog Obedience. Everyone there is hands on and very helpful on getting your dog where you need him to be. Our home is so relaxing now. A lot less barking, no nipping, and plays easy with our Maine Coon now. They must not want new business. Trying to get through to set up an appointment was several days of wasted time sending emails back and forth. I was offered a time slot on a specific day via email and I responded two hours later confirming I would take the appt. and didn't hear back until the next day (email again) saying that "we filled that spot". Seriously? Not a good way to run a business. Completely unprofessional - as were the emails back and forth. Very robotic in response, etc. who knows since it's a family business- it's probably the kids managing the emails- it certainly seemed that way. I wish I could give you zero stars. I look forward to spreading the word on this facility to my LARGE network of staff at the local hospital I work at in Roseville, as well as my groups I belong to in my area. If you don't want business / new clients I will GLADLY help you along the way with that. Frustrated, that same day, I reached out to a highly recommended private trainer who does individual and group sessions and guess what?!?! I got a response that same day and set dates for my dogs training. Common courtesy is not rocket science. I was recommended to AADO after my friend's mini Aussie doodle's behavior was completely improved through their training. He was a different, well-mannered, obedient dog. I was impressed, so as soon as my new puppy was old enough, she went for an evaluation and then I dropped her off for 3 doggie Bootcamps. I absolutely love the way they introduce the dogs to the commands, gear, facility and other dogs. Because of the "pre-work" as soon as we walked into the first in-person training class, my pup already knew how to do everything and I was the one catching up! We've taken 3 in-person classes, and I know how to work on our two biggest issues, pulling on the leash and jumping up on people. Rob, Brandy and the entire staff clearly know what they're doing, love all dogs and are so so worth it! We sent our dog there for five weeks to board and train. Best money we have ever spent. He was a very loving but difficult puppy. With their guidance we have a wonderful well behaved dog that is great at home and in public. We attend classes a few times a month to keep him learning the finer points of obedience. When we were forced to evacuate our home due to wildfires the staff couldn't have been more understanding. The owners made accommodations on a seconds notice to take him in and were exceptionally supportive. Due to our unfortunate circumstances they refused any payment when we picked him up. I took my 7 month old lab puppy for bootcamp to help him learn basic obedience, and what we got is kennel cough, he has been in antibiotics for almost a week now and has to go back because he isn't improving. My dog is fully vaccinated, I understand the vaccines are not 100% however when you are running a business it is your responsibility to make sure the animal is safe. I have a friend who has take her lab puppy to bootcamp as well and has also contracted kennel cough. When I text the school to let them know they may want to pass the information on to others all I got was "thank you" . Needless to say he will NOT be going back. ! read more

I hope they enjoyed the $ we spent there in the past. They are incompetent and RAF. We won't be back. Their employees did not follow the check list and the owner was rather unpleasant about the matter blaming us for the missing items. We aren't allowed to get out of the vehicle so how do we know they didn't get what they were supposed to ? Why didn't they follow the chekclist ? Our dog had an upset stomach for 3 days after coming home now I know why she'd put the brakes on and didn't want to go in there. Never again. Too rude and I don't know what they did to my dog but she was not herself for a few days and even peed inside the house for the first time in 5 years. I get it now why the breeder I know is suing him. I'd thought she was over the top and now I get it. read more

I've thought hard about this review. Here goes... this place is not for the faint of heart. They use training methods which by some standards I believe to be cruel. For example they use more passive dogs like mine to teach the more aggressive dogs "how to talk to each other". What that really means is they allow more passive dogs to be bitten. When my dog was in the yard to be picked up, she was victimized by another dog with 3 very hard bites. What is some times playful can turn very quickly and this was a circumstance that was dangerous. There was no supervision in the yard AT ALL to manage the dogs. When the very, very young employee brought her out to me I asked her to supervise better and I asked her watch the dogs better and not let it happen again. When I came back the next day the owner Robert literally got in my face about it. I had to step back he was so aggressive. He said (while yelling at the top of his lungs) that he was training that employee and that I "squashed her" and that their training methods are legitimate and that I had no business requesting supervision over the dogs. He said they have a line of dogs waiting to get in to their school and that I needed to decide whether we were on board or not. I politely and maturely told him his employee could have handled the situation better and that he could have handled the exchange better between himself and I. Robert you need to chill out and treat people with respect and courtesy. Whether you think it or not, the dog owners are your customers as well as the dog and you were very disrespectful to me. You need a lesson in courtesy and service. I am a business owner and you do not need to school me about training staff. Train your staff better and take a lesson in courtesy towards other human beings. read more

Brandy and Robert have transformed my dog. Mostly, they taught and are teaching me how to train my dog. I was very hesitant dropping my dog at daycare. I felt like a new mom dropping my kid at kindergarten. After a few weeks of boot camp then daycare my dog is doing so much better. I am now attending weekly training sessions with a whole group of other dog parents and I don't worry about Max being off leash. Would not reccomend. Unprofessional. Upon pickup I could see there kid let my dog out from a kennel where she had prong choker collar on! You should never keep a dog with a training collar like this on . My dog could barely breathe once I picked her up and i could barely remove the collar as her neck was so inflamed she had a very bad wheeze to her panting once I removed collar and looked extremely dehydrated. 2 weeks later my dog is still wheezing when she pants and in 6 years of having my dog she has never made these sounds before this day. I was late for my dogs pickup as my day had some setbacks and was told the owners/trainer was unavailable to talk when I asked for them . I left immediately to calm down and thought I would discuss this with them when they called me to tell me how her training went . That never happen all they did was cash my check and gave zero follow up . They have great reviews and seemed to be a great place to take my dog. But I can honestly say I would not trust anyone to leave there dog there. Maybe it's a different experience with training sessions when your there with them . read more
