I spent $130 here for what was supposed to be my proposal nails--a moment I will remember for the rest of my life--and they completely ruined it. I called ahead two hours before they closed to ask if they had time to take me and do a quality job. Instead of just being honest, the nail tech took an immediate attitude. When I arrived, she made snarky remarks about me to her coworker in her native language, thinking I wouldn't understand (jokes on her, Google Translate exists). The disrespect before I even sat down was unreal. Once in the chair, I was rushed beyond belief. She skipped basic, essential steps in the application process, and it shows. The end result is an absolute disaster: The polish is already peeling and chipping off along the edges and cuticles almost immediately. it hasn't even been 24 hrs The shape and application are wildly uneven, thick, and lumpy. The finish looks sloppy, messy, and totally un-professional. To charge $130 for a rushed job, awful customer service, and nails that look like they were slapped on in five minutes is highway robbery. I called two places and they weren't able to squeeze me in for a walk in but TT's welcomed me with open arms and an open nail technician, Hoang! I got a standard manicure with gel polish, my nail tech Hoang even helped reconstruct a nail that I'd been having trouble with lately without me really asking, she just helped me tremendously! I think she used dip powder for the nail reconstruction and it turned out so well! She really took her time and did a great job with cleaning my cuticles, removing old gel polish, and repainting. Truly left me impressed and the price was right, about $45 for the whole thing not including tip. She even ended with hand massages! I haven't had a nail salon do this before so it was the perfect ending to a delightful experience. 10/10 recommend TT's Nail Salon, located right next to the Mattress Firm on City Walk Drive. Plenty of parking and they are open til 7:00 pm, which is perfect for those needing a visit after work. She has the magic touch! I don't know what she does but her waxes are definitely less painful than other specialists I have seen. She always cleans up my eyebrows without making them too thin, which is exactly what I like. She finds the perfect amount of sideburn to wax off, and very kindly mentioned I had just a couple of hairs on my chin she could get. She really listens to her clients and has great attention to detail so that I always walk away looking flawless! She also gets bikini waxes done in fewer passes so my skin does not get irritated. She takes great care to look and make sure not a single hair was left behind. I've never had anyone else tweeze my legs! Her eye for precision means I don't have to worry about those pesky short hairs that waxing can miss. She ensures I leave looking and feeling smooth! The Salon is very nice and has a warm atmosphere, figuratively and literally. The temperature is always comfortable and the tables have warmers on them, which is a great touch! Nevertheless, the prices are very reasonable compared to other places. (Please don't raise them because I said that!) So you can get a spa experience for a little less than you would pay at somewhere like European Wax Center.
