I knew that it was never the final price when you get there. I was hoping they'll be nice enough to tell me more... if they want my business, right? Then I called 1 Chance Auto Accessories, in Aiken, which is farther away from me. I asked the gentleman on the other end, Michael, the same questions expecting the same type of response and to my surprise, he invited me to visit the store so he can explain and see my options. When I got there, he helped me right away. Even though it got busier, his focus was on me. Not an ounce of a "car-salesman mentality". I never felt pressured to buy anything and I was not rushed. He then gave me a printed quote. We set up a schedule for installation. Well, here I am writing a review that is very well deserved. It was worth my time to post this because he covered every area of customer service, professionalism, quality of product and installation, and value for your money. Just like his business name, Michael has only 1 chance to prove to you he is worth it. I thank you for your service, Michael ... in every way.

Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the service I received…read more I paid to have a remote start installed on my vehicle; however, what I now have is a "remote stop." Unbeknownst to me, according to the owner, my vehicle has a safety feature that causes the engine to shut off as soon as the unlock button is pressed. So every time I remotely start my car and walk up to it, the moment I hit unlock, the entire vehicle shuts off. This is extremely frustrating and completely defeats the purpose of paying for a remote start system. The other day, my children literally had to sit in a hot car while I loaded groceries because once I unlocked the doors, the vehicle shut off. That is not the convenience or functionality I paid for. The owner knew I was upset and dissatisfied with the installation, yet nothing was done to make the situation right. My husband even went back a few days later to explain that we weren't necessarily asking for our money back--we wanted honesty and some effort to resolve the issue. Instead, we were simply told that "all sales are final." My biggest disappointment is that I wish the owner had contacted me when he discovered the remote start would not function properly on my vehicle instead of installing it anyway. Had I known this beforehand, I would have never agreed to the installation. I feel like I wasted my hard-earned money and, more importantly, my trust was misplaced. I hope that in the future this business chooses to be upfront and honest with customers rather than focusing solely on making a sale.

Cisco is a true throwback! He is prompt, professional, and reasonably priced…read more Very few Companies actually install car stereos and entertainment systems these days, especially in the Columbia area. The popular local chain is quite overpriced and their work and quality varies from location to location and from job to job. This guy is consistently professional based on everyone who has recommended him and based on my experience. He's essentially a one man show that occasionally has his son work on the vehicles with him. He's been doing this for over 20 years and he's the only one that I would trust with most classic vehicles. I was deliberate with what it was that I wanted and he delivered! He also will help you design a system and build the components to make it work for your own specific vehicle and the product that you want. He does rims and tires as well, and if that's what you're looking for I would imagine that he does a great job with that too based on the customers vehicles that I saw firsthand while I was there. This business is excellent!

Dropped my car off ('07 550i) the night before for total front bulb replacements- due to complexity…read moreof job, i wanted all bulbs changed at the same time. While there, i wanted an oil change too. I had an 11am appointment scheduled. They kept my car "all day"and after not hearing from the shop at ~3pm, I called the shop for an update? I was then told at 3pm that my car was "next to be pulled in" (I had an 11am appointment), so to hear that my car was next at "3pm" was a little concerning.....fast forward to 5pm/closing time and I get to the shop to settle up. I pay nearly $800 for bulbs to replaced along with the oil change.....jump in my car to leave and low and behold, the right lamp fault is still there on the dash (why i brought the car in the first place). This is when they tell me as they are closing that the fault wont clear because i need new headlight assemblies for the car?? No one called to give me an update along the way and I get the "we just took your car down off the lift along with we are short a technician" today....excuse. I expressed my dissatisfaction...have brought my car in for service on multiple times...time before being a ~$5k job worth of work. Very discouraging to fork over nearly $800 for bulbs and oil change and get a rushed job at closing and excuses. Don't mind paying for quality work but don't insult a customer's intelligence with guesswork and no communication. Also, was given an "updated" receipt of service after the tech went back an added in the comments why the fault light wouldn't clear and the need for new headlight assemblies. This information was not in the original receipt when I paid for service and was headed out before I caught the fault code still illuminated on the dash.
